A one night stand that could ruin everything.

I've only got one night in this city before heading off to the sticks to visit my best friend who lives on a farm. But, I'd do anything for Boone and if that means I need to collect eggs and churn butter for a few days, then so be it.

But before that, I'm desperate for some stress relief. God knows when I'll find champagne and country clubs again, so I hook up with the hottest guy in the hotel bar and we go at it like a couple of horny bunnies all night before we part ways. No harm. No foul. We both got what we wanted.

Until I show up at my best friend's farm and learn that the man who's c*ck I tongued like it was an all day sucker is her older brother, Adam.

And that farm? It's the biggest ranch in Montana.

IT'S WHAT HAS TO BE DONE

The first book in the new contemporary Montana Billionaires series was an enjoyable read, with a great cast of characters, plenty of angst, passion, secrets, and discoveries. The story will begin in Ponderosa Pass at the Hamilton Hotel with two strangers, meeting up at the bar in the hotel and mutually deciding on a one-night, with no names, no expectations, only passion. The following day, she is gone, and Adam is on his way back to the family ranch.

Kit d'Winters promised Boone she would come to help her with the fourth of July barbeque. Boone has never shared much about her family, and what a shock to arrive at North Starr and discover the size of the ranch. But that isn't the only surprise. When Kit meets Boone's three older brothers, she comes face to face with the man from last night.

The story is a page-turning tale of two people doing their best to keep what happened between them a secret from the rest of the family. Kit and Adam must keep a low profile, but that doesn't mean they won't find moments together. The Starr family has a family pact of not dating any friends to prevent a catastrophe like what happened in the past.

Boone wants Kit to move to Montana to become part of her new business venture, and Kit wants that too. But what about the feelings between Kit and Adam? How will they be able to handle that and keep the peace in the family? When the truth comes out, so do accusations, hurt feelings, and betrayal. Does this mean that this whirlwind relationship must come to an end? And what about the future of The Love Knot?

The story is a face-paced action romance. It does have several explicit scenes. Best of all, it does have the coveted happily ever after ending. I can't wait to read more stories in the series.

Kit and Adam meet in a bar and have a one night stand, no strings, just one night of passion. The next day, they meet again, only this time, both of them have all the feelings, and Adam is her best friend Boone's brother. This is no farm she's visiting, but the biggest ranch in Montana, and Adam runs it. As the days fly by, they have more and more trouble hiding their feelings, but the fear of Boone finding out about them is real.
I saw cowboy romance by Celeste Jones, and I knew I had to read it. I wasn't disappointed. The characters are relatable and likable. This story is hot and spicy, and poignant at the same time. A fantastic beginning to a new series, I look forward to reading more. Adam and Kit are well worth the one click.

I always rejoice Celeste Jones' books. I love her writing style and stories plot. This book is no exception. It's well written, love scenes are highly enjoyable and the "Off Limits" vibe made for an interesting twist. My only reservation about the book is how much rich the hero & his family are. Ranchers love their lands, animals & lifestyles. Most of them wouldn't exchange that for any other life. However, it's quite hard work with low profit and people work on farms barely make ends meet. Therefore, the issue of being super rich was a little out of line. Otherwise, it's a very good read.

A one night stand that turns into something neither Adam or Kit expected!! I really enjoyed this story. The angst, the hot steamy sexy scenes and a take charge guy! They didn't expect to see each other again but when Adam gets back home and finds out his sister's best friend is the same woman he had said one night stand with, he's shocked. Watching these two trying to figure out their relationship was great. The story is well written, fast paced and easy to read so you know I couldn't put it down! And this is a new series so I'll be eagerly waiting for the next one!!

Kit and Adam . . .

Kit certainly had the wrong idea about the little farm she was heading to as a guest of her best friend Boone. She was expecting to help churn butter, gather eggs, that sort of thing. So on the way, she decides she needs to “scratch that itch” before she gets to the farm. She had a one-night-stand with a handsome guy, no names, then heads to her destination.

Arriving at the “small farm” she envisioned, she finds it is actually the biggest ranch in Montana covering 64,000 acres! Definitely not a small-time business! The second shock comes when Boone introduces her brothers and she finds that the oldest brother, Adam, is her paramour from the night before! Unfortunately their attraction is just as powerful as it was the night before! But Boone has an unbendable rule that her brothers are not to date or touch any of her friends. Will they follow the rule? Or will they be unable to resist the pull to each other?

Just my own personal irritation with this trope with siblings objecting to the others dating their best friend: Once her brother reaches adulthood, and actually even before that, his sister should have no say in whether he dates her best friend or anyone else she knows. And technically speaking, Adam and Kit had already met and “dated” before they knew they were under that “iron rule”, so it should not even be applied to them.

“Adam” is an engaging romance with a best friend’s brother trope. I always seem to enjoy stories by Celeste Jones, the author of this book, and I certainly enjoyed this one. It’s already clear that her ‘Montana Billionaires’ series is going to be a good one.

Adam has the responsibility of his family’s massive cattle ranch and other businesses that they own. While on a weeklong business trip dealing with some of those other business responsibilities, he meets a beautiful young woman with whom he has a ‘no names exchanged’ one-night stand. The next day he’s already regretting that he doesn’t know who she is because their connection was so powerful. Kit is anxious to see her best friend from college. In the hotel bar the night before she meets an incredibly attractive man and does something very uncharacteristic of her – she spends an anonymous night with him, exploring their intense physical chemistry. It’s a night she knows she’ll never forget. It saddens her that she doesn’t know who he is, and that she’ll never see him again. You’d think finding themselves face to face right away again would make them both happy, right? Well, there’s a serious problem and its name is Boone … the woman who is her best friend and his little sister, and is the one person in the world who would never tolerate Adam and Kit being together.

This book makes you feel as good as a Hallmark movie, if only those included steamy parts like the hot ones in this book! Adam and Kit are both likable characters. Each is struggling with their own personal angst and is struggling against the attraction to the other. The various secondary characters bring additional poignancy, depth, and humor to the story. It’s a romance novel, so I knew there would be a happy conclusion to the story, but it still had me smiling because I really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to seeing all of these characters again as the series develops.

This book can best be described as an absolutely delicious romance that will pull at your emotions in many varied ways. What started off as an anonymous, hot & heavy, one night stand was just that until fate intervened and their lives intersected once again, in the form of Boone Starr. Now they had a real conundrum. Aside from the obvious family problems there was also the time old conflict of one person being a big city girl and the other being a BIG country boy. While both Kit and Adam privately wanted to advance their budding relationship, publicly they had to hide everything to appease family values and family rules. When push came to shove, Kit returned home and Adam retreated internally. In the end there turned out to be a number of surprising revelations. A very hot, very sexy, and very erotically charged romance. Since this is Book 1, I trust we will learn more of the romantic adventures of the Starr siblings. I can’t wait. 5 Stars

Adam: A Best Friend’s Brother Cowboy Romance starts off with a very hot, steamy sex scene. What a fantastic first chapter! Celeste Jones really set the tone on what I could expect in the rest of the book.
Adam and Kit meet in a hotel and they have an instant attraction the chemistry is undeniable. They decide to have a one night stand and the part ways. Unfortunately for them they meet up again less than 24 hours later when Kit arrives at his ranch because she was invited by his sister. They pretend they have never met because the family has a rule that they don’t date their siblings friends.
This was a great book, the sex was hot and steamy. The romance between the two was great. There was some angst, not a lot. A very enjoyable book and a fast read. I cannot wait to read about the rest of the siblings since this is the first book in the series.

One wild night. No names. No promises. Kit is Adam's sister's best friend, making her off limits. But with the serious amount of chemistry between them, there's no way they can ignore their feelings. This is my first contemporary romance from the author, and I feel that she did an excellent job with this book. The story is engaging (and steamy at times), the characters are real and interesting, and I couldn't put it down once I started reading. The woman that Adam helps out in the airport... I figured out who she was, but it still left me a bit teary-eyed. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

While I've read a few books from this author, this is only the second contemporary, non-PNR book of hers that I've read and it made a wonderful change of pace. I was a bit concerned at it's length and worried that it would be rather superficial, but this was just a wonderful, lovely read with great interaction between Adam and Kit. Sure, it starts off with super hot sex, but most of the book is about the emotional connection between the two and the author did such a good job of infusing the lead characters with caring and emotion. This is a standalone book but being book 1 in a new series there are characters that (hopefully) will go on to have their own stories.

A great start to this new series Montana Billionaires. The author introduces us to Adam and Kit. Kit is on her way to her best friend's ranch and before that she has a one amazing night with the hottest man at the bar. It was suppose to be no names, no attachments and only one night. We that all changes when Kit shows up at the ranch and finds out that he is the older brother of her best friend. This is their journey to finding love and a happily ever after. A enjoyable read. I am looking forward to read the next book.

Wonderful start to a new series! Adam and Kit think they are having a one night stand. They don't ask for each other's names, just enjoy themselves. Then they find out that they have something in common, Boone. Boone is Kit's college roommate and is also Adam's little sister. The problem is that there is a pesky little rule that Boone's brothers do not date Boone's friends. The chemistry between Kit and Adam is out of this world. I can't wait to read the next book with Deacon's story.
