Sebastian Stone - the boy I grew up with. My best friend who I confided in and trusted more than anyone. The boy who stuck up for me at school and filled my days with laughter and happiness. The boy who turned into a man who slipped into my bed at night and made me into a woman while the rest of the house slept. He awakened feelings in me I never knew I had and promised never to leave me. In return, I gave him my innocence and his kisses brought new life to a soul I had surrendered to the Devil many years ago. However, this sleeping beauty woke up to find her Prince was a monster in disguise because he turned his back on her and chose her sister instead. When I heard they were to marry I left and fell down the darkest rabbit hole I could find.
But now I'm back and he won't like what I've become. He's about to learn this Princess went over to the dark side and now the only thing on her mind is revenge.
It's time to face my past and change the future - the hard way.
Early Reviews
*****Fantastic Read
I really enjoyed this book. Angel (Angelica) was a strong female character and I loved how she made Sebastian work to gain her forgiveness. These two were great together and had sizzling chemistry. I loved Ryder and all the characters of the Twisted Reaper MC. The story was well-developed, well written and had an engaging storyline. This was a fantastic read and I can't wait to read Tobias and Anastasia's story. - Tammy (Booksprout)
*****Love this book! By Lilith Angel returns home after 5 years. Angel is very hurt by the past. Sebastian wants her back. Good book, well written!
*****All I can say is WOW By Brenda L. I read this book as soon as I downloaded it and just finished in one sitting. The characters and plot are excellent. There is anger, sadness, family dynamics, and heat. It also moves at a fast pace. Totally recommend this book.
*****Angel Gets Her Story - what a wild ride! By Auburn1234 Can't get enough of the Reapers? This is Angel's story, and it's great. When her father dies, she returns for the funeral, and big surprises! Reuniting with her family and the man she lost is just the beginning. Great story!!!!
Unfortunately, this was one of the least romantic books I have ever read.
The blurb sounded so promising and I just had to give it a go... The heroine sounded like a real badass, but I was so wrong...
Apparently Sebastian and Angel were the best of friends growing up and later their relationship turned into so much more. This is what we are told because this book does not do flashbacks.
This book starts off with Angel, who is on her way to her father's funeral. From that moment on it is told that Angel left 5 years ago because she was betrayed by both her family and the love of her life when his engagement with her sister was announced... Again.. we do not get any flashbacks of this.
She ended up with the Reapers MC, though it is not mentioned how or when or why. Maybe this is explained in another book, though I was under the understanding that this one could be read as a stand-alone book. Again, we are told by the heroine's thoughts, that she was some kind of club-whore, though she does heavingly romanticize this fact. Because they are all family and it is just comfort and sex and they all care about one another so so much... For her being a club whore is a thing of honor.
In the meantime (5 years), Sebastian was still engaged with her sister Anastasia, but not sleeping with her. No, instead of being with her (because that would be a betrayal to the woman he really loves), he was screwing all the submissives in some kind of BDSM club, because he also turns out to be a dom.
Now 5 years later they come face to face again. Angel keeps repeating she is not the weak Angelica from the past, but that she is Angel badass from the Reapers MC (read club-whore). She vows to have her revenge...
Turns out her father has left her the company and so she can't just up and leave.
Sebastian states that Angel's father was blackmailing him into marrying/engaging Angel's sister. She forgives him and within 1-2 weeks they are back together and screwing. She is even impressed that he saved his heart for her and only fucked at the club....just like she did. I mean WTF!!??
She also pretty much forgives her family for being assholes...
Almost every single trope I know was in this book....except romance... I did not feel even a smidge of romance.
It is so sad because this book had so much potential for me to love it. I actually did enjoy this author's writing style. It was all just too much and too fast.
I could have done without the both of them whoring around and being so proud of it. I wanted Angel to stand her ground a bit longer and actually be the badass she claimed to be.
Sebastian was a weak as shit hero. I just could not love or admire him. He let himself be blackmailed, he did not stand up for himself or the woman he claims he loves. That is not Alpha behavior. He was judgemental about the MC members and when he saw one of them around Angel, he put his tail between his legs and left... wow what a man...
I also don't want to feel like I stepped into a book halfway into the story. Too much was being told, I wanted to experience what happened in the past. I felt like I missed half the story, even though I've read every page.
Now, this all sounds pretty negative and some of it is, but I did still finish the book. It is not a DNF so that is something. And even though I did not enjoy this story, I found the writing style pleasant and so maybe I will be able to find another book by this author that I will enjoy.

Oh Puhleaseeee! Where's the strong woman in that book ?? 🤦♀️ Okay so she went out for 5 years, had sex with other guys and this making herself confident but jumps on Zero's lap (in less than 1 week after coming back) because he shows her what he became without her (ie an excuse for a man who he always was btw). So to prove his love for her he takes her to a BDSM club where he had sex with countless women during the 5 years that she left because poooooor him!!!!🙄🙄 And that's exactly how it was: "Oh, after I joined the club and saw all those people with whom he had meaningless sex I realized how much he always loved me !!" Hummm wait, What?! 😒Yes! Poor him!! She was unable to understand that he was a coward and decided to get engaged with her sister without even giving an explanation!! Buááá !!! And of course it was all to comfort his father who died a year after the engagement. Now explain something to me: If his father died 1 year after the engagement then why did he remain engaged to the sister he didn't love during the last 4 years?! Oops🤦♀️. And please, if he was the one who made the choice to get engaged to her sister without even consulting her then what was the excuse he had to sleep with all the other women? Oh yes! Because he wanted forget for being a loser wimp and the suffering of "losing" h. Wow! Congratulations! Lots and lots of originality here!!👏👏👏👏👏🤦♀️

This book it beyond stupid. I think I felt my brain cells die. The premise seemed exciting, but once you start reading you realize that the author has went way off of the deep end. We are supposed to believe that the almost virginal daughter from a wealthy family was so broken hearted that she felt her only option was to run off to become in her words a “biker whore”. Yep makes total sense right? Sure, ok (insert eye roll). Then we learn that in this time, her childhood boyfriend etc. Despite being “in love” with her the entire time, he has now turned into a “Dom” and spends his free time screwing “subs”. So yes this sweet second chance story has now adopted so many other tropes that I am suddenly giving a big WTF... So they e basically both been major sluts and decide that’s ok, and all of forgiven. I tried to read a little farther but couldn’t take anything about the plot seriously.
Really enjoyable read. Loved it so much I’m going to go and find the series that it’s linked to, can’t wait to hear all the exploits of Ryder’s gang of hunks.
This book really keeps your imagination going, a real page turner, loved the characters and can’t wait for Anastasia’s story
This book is strange. It involves a BDSM club, a motorcycle club, the mafia, power struggles and the idea that love makes you weak, and if you break someone emotionally they become stronger. Not what I thought I was getting based on the blurb.
So many things. The heroine was all over the place, personality wise. The sex club thing was unnecessary and seemed written by someone who finds the thought titillating with no real knowledge. The hero was pretty spineless. Just no.
hmmmm well its a bit of a disaster tbh. she has thrown as many tropes in as possible to make a mish mash of a book.
synopsis; girl and boy grow up together and love each other as soul mates. their fathers are business partners. boys father get in trouble with gambling and is dying of cancer. girls dad blackmails boys father to marry his other daughter because he wants to break his first born daughter in order to prepare her for inheriting the family business. girl runs away and joins an mc biker club and becomes a club whore. boy joins a bdsm club and works for his fathers company whilst also making millions secretly on the stock market. during the 5 years hes engaged to the other sister he neither kisses her or has sex with her. they dont do anything couply other than attend formal functions together.
girl comes back for fathers funeral and seeks revenge. lasts all of 2 minutes. in the meantime a mafia mobster has got shares in the company and they have to fight him to protect their fathers company.
ok so its so prosaic and formulaic and such a mix up of tropes that i spent half the time thinking when is she gonna throw the virgin in (maybe thats gonna be the sister) as she is now engaged to the mafia mobster. it was like she thought i'll throw everything in and it'll be a catch all.
notwisthstanding that it has kept my interest and tbh i am gonna look up and see if she's actually written about the mc as im more of a biker bitch myself.
Very emotional. Lots of drama. Angel left because her family and boyfriend betrayed her. Now five year later she is stronger and has a new family. A powerful MC family who would do anything for her. Even help her get revenge of those who wronged her. She goes back for her father’s funeral so she can spit on his casket, but then finds out he made her the CEO of his company. Now should she destroy it, along with her mother, sister, and ex-boyfriend, and walk away a billionaire, or try to save it? I didn’t like Sebastian and I still think even at the end he didn’t deserve Angel. He was weak just like her father always thought. He chose money and his weak, gambling addicted father over the supposed love of his life. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
I rather enjoyed this book. Not my usual storyline but had a little bit of both of my favorite.
If things are meant to be... they will be... even if you have to let go and grow up first. This is mostly a second chance romance. Two people who fell in love...who made promises to each other and then it all fell apart. Families who wouldn't let them be and the duties of family.
This book also has a little bit of mafia and MC romance. Now to check in with the next in the series... Owning Beauty
I enjoyed this emotionally intense read. I found the story line of this read to be deeply compelling, The characters are complex and if you are like me, they will inspire strong feelings and reactions as you read. I liked Angel a lot and I really felt for her. I'll be honest and say I was conflicted about Sebastian. This is my sincere review that I am posting of my own accord.
Angelica Johnson knows what it is like to be the princess. Her father owns the largest, most successful business in town and, as a result, dominates the town, her family and, most significantly, Angelica’s future. Her mother is the image of a trophy wife who lives the life of luxury at the price of her own total submission to her dominant and cruel husband while seeking her own comfort and pleasures outside of her marriage bed. And, Mirabelle Johnson is, as always, in total agreement with her husband, seeing nothing wrong with his plans to put in play actions that will break the heart and spirit of their beautiful, eldest daughter Angelica, in order to mold her into her father's own obdurate, heartless image.
Sebastian Stone, handsome son of her father’s weak and vulnerable business partner becomes the tool needed to break Angelica. Childhood friends who became secret lovers, Sebastian and Angelica have lived in a world of love, thinking all were blind to the nighttime visits paid to Angelica's upstairs bedroom. But, nothing escapes the calculating eye of Harvey Johnson. Disapproving of his heir’s involvement with the weak son of a weaker father, Harvey plots to destroy the young lovers dreams—to destroy the relationship—to break Angelica’s heart and spirit in order to re-form her in his stronger image, not burdened by such sentiments as love, ready to rule in his place when the time comes. His weapon of destruction—what Angelica loved most—Sebastian. Harvey blackmail’s the young Sebastian to reject Angelica and to accept her sister, Anastasia as his bride. What Harvey had not counted on was his daughter's response to his machinations. In her broken state, she fled his home and his control.
Now, 5 years later, Harvey is dead, and Angelica, broken and reshaped into Angel, has returned for his funeral. With the past 5 years of her existence and reshaping a mystery to her family and former lover, now sister’s fiancée, Angel returns as a fallen angel set on revenge and retribution for the actions of her father and the betrayal of the one person whom she had loved beyond all others, even family, Sebastian. Having lived among the bringers of death and retribution, the Reapers MC, Angel’s vision of family has been altered. Her new family lives in the shadows of society and acceptability, and from them, she has developed a new strength and a new definition of who is her family.
Stella Andrews weaves a tale of betrayal, brokenness, darkness and shadows, but also one of the redemptive powers of love and forgiveness that provides a guiding light for the future. The romance becomes a dark quest for Angel and the reader to discover the real nature of family, love, and ultimately forgiveness. And, Andrews cleverly provides the opportunity for the reader to continue to quest through the characters of Tobias, Anastasia and Mav who have been encountered in the reading of Breaking Beauty.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review, but I will look forward the work from Kindle Unlimited to taste again in the future.
Stella Andrews has several books out and some storylines flow into other books which I really like. It helps develop backgrounds and establish characters. Unfortunately for me, you see, I find the lack of editing a bit of a pain. You see in this book you will find you see 37 times. In another it appears 81 times. You see how this can be a total pain and even got to the stage I almost stopped reading as well you see, it was just so annoying!
This is apparently a spin-off from the Twisted Reapers MC series; this book features Angel (aka Angelica) who is a former club “whore” (her words not mine). In my opinion, you would need to read the Twisted Reaper MC to understand some of the inside jokes about the other couples; some scenes it seem to even imply we should know the people Angel was referring to.
If you are looking for a strong heroine and a hero who grovels for forgiveness, you can definitely skip this book. I was really looking forward to Angel coming back to the family that betrayed her and showing them the new unbroken her; nope, right from the start, she hasn’t even seen anyone and she is crying as well as second guessing herself, now mind you this after giving herself the, “I’m a badass bitch, fear me” speech. The cab driver felt so bad for her because of her crying.
The story is Angel was in love with her boyfriend, Sebastian, but he proposed to her little sister, Anastasia, instead. Angel took off for 5 years and never contacted Sebastian or her family again. But now fast forward 5 years and Angel is supposedly this stone cold, tough badass and feels like her family should fear her and the new family she created.
Essentially, her sister was a spoiled brat who wanted everything her sister had including her boyfriend, the mother was just annoyingly fake and Sebastian has been the torture hero for 5 years. It seems that no one had cellphones in this world because a lot of things could have been solved with a quick phone call or even a text. For instance, before proposing to her sister, Sebastian could have let Angel know he was being blackmailed by her father.
None of this really matters in the end because Angel’s deceased father leaves her his company and money and she decides to leave her loved family for the one she can’t stand. Angel and Sebastian start boning within a week of her being back because, and I kid you not, Angel could feel the torture Sebastian went through when he had sex with numerous woman in a sex club, just like she suffered when she willing became a club “whore” for Twisted Reapers MC; like say what?
Then Tobias Moretti, a mob guy, who has shares in the company decides to marry Anastasia to secure his shares. This will send Angel into a deep fear of sister’s safety, you know the sister she hates and states she always hated. Then suddenly Angel and Anastasia are best friends who love each other. Anastasia explains she wants to marry Tobias so that she can be free; so she is marrying a complete stranger with a very bad background to be free?
After Sebastian explains entirely what happened and apologies, he takes Angel to Blacks, his sex club. To repay the kindness, Angel takes Sebastian to the MC compound to introduce him to her family and all the dudes she boned as well.
This book was just so…not what I was expecting neither what I wanted to read.
It also leaves it as a cliffhanger about Anastasia and Tobias in the next book Owning Beauty.

Wow She Doesn't Change At All, Its All A White Supremacist Fantasy Of The "Good Type Of Abusers"
Wait, she took emotional responsibility for the five years that her sister presented herself to the world as "her mans man".
Wow this is toxic as fuck.
Are you waiting around for the people who fucked you over to reveal they have been as pathetic as you the whole time, like these abusers?
This isn't love.
This is her gradually devaluing her own identity and splitting it over and over.
This book is for the Unseen, Unloved and utterly Unfucked, so they can nuance waiting for for daddy's ghostly cock to gag them, just once.
Its pathetic.
You choose to act this way.
You choose to tell yourself you are only worth the abuse people put your through.
And she can touch him after he used his body, the organ of emotion, to tell the world hes with Anastasia.
Even if I allow you the "morally grey" hero, what was he heroing.
Hes the same person at the start of the book and at the end of it.
But you fear anything more than Disney Prince, don't you.
You pretend you love the dark romances.
You don't.
What you love is knowing you never have to face the fear of expectation.
Growth.
Kindness.
Not dipping dick in other women.
But he does.
Telling himself its "just a warm body" because thats how BookTok views women.
Just warm bodies.
Because the type of men that they want, view women as just warm bodies.
Pathetic Patriarchial Pick Me, Manure Ridden Leather Boots Are Their Favourite Flavour.
I love books that are so misogynistic, they spend a lot of time beating the most forgiving group, women, around the head about needing to be more forgiving.
She exists for the Patriarchial Pick Mes to show the women with actual personalities, how to let his wrap your hair in his hand.
But then, you still wait for daddy to point you in the correct direction.
All of these people are her Communal Abusers.
I don't believe she has anythinf but a Trauma Bond with these fuckers.
And its all image after her "show down" with her toxic ass sister and toxic ass cheating partner.
Dipping dick for years in other women, hurting your sister like that and you think hes not going to do the same to you.
Yeah, you BookToks are the women Eddie Murphys Raw was written for.
Hes not "making love" to those women, when he really is. His love is just shallow and unexercised.
And thats why you love Dark Romances, because you are more terrified of exercising his sympathetic nervous system than you are of being alone.
So you let him lie to himself that hes emotionally bonded while fucking in clubs.
Its ok BookTokkers, Im familiar with your type of person too.
Husband if you have one, leave, spend his money, the return?
Yeah I know you boo.
You love the Ick.

Oh yes Stella, you never disappoint me with your writing. No drawn out, long winded, blah scenes that I have to skim through. Always keeping me engaged and turning the pages, even when it’s 2am in the morning and my poor eyes are begging me to go to sleep. ‘Breaking Beauty’ can be read as a stand-alone but the main heroine Angel (previously known as Angelica) makes an appearance in the Twisted Reaper MC book ‘Flash’. Right off the bat, I love Angel. She’s no damsel in distress. She’s strong, fierce & no longer her family’s little doll that can be manipulated and used. She’s been away for 5 years and is back to tie up loose ends and give everyone who did her wrong a taste of the f#@k off, dangerous woman she has become. One of those people being the ex (still?) love of her life Sebastian, who was responsible for her greatest betrayal by getting engaged to her younger sister. Sebastian, the sexy, cocky, bastard might still be her one weakness but she’s not about to let that show in her pursuit for revenge. But as Angel learns more about her fathers dealings and what’s gone on these last 5 years, Sebastians betrayal may not be as it seems. I loved the sizzle between Angel and Sebastian. Each time they interacted, i felt the chemistry fly off the pages. Sebastian’s possessiveness and protectiveness of Angel (even though she fights it) is pretty sexy. I like the banter between them. Angel kind of reverts to funny insults where Sebastian is concerned & he seems to love every second of it. I also looove that Snake, Ryder and some of my beloved Twisted Reapers make an appearance, I’ve missed their danger and loyalty to those they care about.
Breaking Beauty is a well written, hot, second chance read that I really enjoyed & look forward to the next one...

The blurb was a great hook for me and I wanted to find out about Sebastian's ultimate betrayal of Angelica. I loved the way the author created a strong, savvy heroine in Angel. Her backstory after Sebastian's betrayal with her sister was revealed bit by bit in her POV and inner dialogue. I liked the way her MC family gave her the strength to return for her father's funeral and face her mother, sister, and former love of her life with her head held high. While I hate cheating or relationships outside of the main couple, both Sebastian and Angel's time away from each other balanced out their sins. Angel was no shrinking violet as she was forced to grow up quickly, always sheltering her heart from the kind of love she had for Sebastian. Her MC family was able to help heal and toughen her up for what was to come. Sebastian's part in her heartbreak was also handled well by the author. I was totally satisfied with the drama surrounding his connection with Anastasia and was team Sebastian as soon as that bit of information was revealed. This strong well matched couple lit up the pages of my virtual reader with their intense and passionate deep love and obsession with one another. Lots of drama and intrigue with the heroine never falling into the role of victim.

I read the sequel to this book, Owning Beauty first, and really enjoyed it. I didn't like this one as much, and I think it's because of the reading order. I loved Ana and Tobias in Owning Beauty, and so I wasn't at all comfortable with the portrayal of Anastasia in this book. I just felt so bad for her that nobody really saw her. All I can say is that if you really hated Anastasia in this book, hold on and read the next book. That aside, I also didn't like Angel a lot, and I didn't in the sequel either. I think her toughness edged over into nastiness. I completely understood why she reacted the way that she did, but I just didn't like the way she acted and talked. To be fair, I didn't like Sebastian either. He's the reason she left, and there was no way that any of his judgement was legitimate. He was pretty horrible for doing what he did (even to save his dad - surely there was some other option he could have discovered in FIVE YEARS!!). The whole "MC saved me they're my new family I'm a biker whore and I love it" schtick was just weird. I had not read any of the Reaper's books, so I felt like I was missing a fair bit of information as well. This was an okay book, but I much preferred the couple coming up. I didn't get a sense of strong connection between Sebastian and Angel, and I didn't like them as individuals either.

Angel and Sebastian were phenomenal characters. This novel grabbed me from start to finish. I loved the MC connection even though motorcycle club genre is usually not my thing. The characters of the MC club were engaging, sexy and were a crucial part of this story. The chemistry and connection that Angel and Sebastian had was off the charts. I like strong women characters who deliver that persona throughout a novel. Angel did that and more. She made Sebastian work to regain her trust, which under the circumstances was completely justified. Even after everything Sebastian had done five years earlier, once you got the his backstory and his reasons for doing it, you realized that he was nothing more than a pawn in her father's scheme. I can't wait for more stories to come from this author about the other characters that we were introduced to in this novel. I enjoy when an author takes characters from one novel and expands into other stories using the characters that were introduced previously. Enjoy.
I enjoyed the overall second chance romance between Angel and Seb. Angel's father's will was a surprise. I feel there is room for improvement. The storyline for Angel and Seb was reconciled too quickly. Same applies to her mom and sister. That surprised me. After five years I could only imagine the resentment and pain Angel had been through. Also, I think it would have been intriguing to follow the thread of the outlet Seb had and had wanted to introduce to Angel. Also, another thread was the future of the company. Again, to see it successfully launched into bio friendly products as her father envisioned would have been great. I did not read the prior books about the MC but I feel like I need to in order to understand the dynamics between Angel and the members men and women. Another thread was Moretti. Did Angel and Seb have another meeting? How did that go? Overall, this has great potential for an excellent novel. It needs improvement.
This is a book that held a lot of promise and sounded interesting from the blurb. Unfortunately it was a DNF at 40% for me as I couldn’t get on with the writing style, found parts to be repetitive, and got a juvenile feel from the characters at times secondary to how their thoughts were being presented. I tried to continue with it but in the end decided to walk away from this one as it wasn’t for me. The below tropes/features and content warnings are from what I have been able to find from the authors’ website and reading other reviews, this book includes:
POV: Dual, 1st person Length: Novel Relationship: MF
Tropes/Features: Second chance romance, MC romance, Motorcycle club, Enemies to lovers, Forbidden romance, Billionaire romance, Love triangle, Fake engagement, Childhood friends, BDSM, Dom/Sub, MC, Mafia, Crime, Revenge
Content warning: Death, Gambling addiction, Cancer, Slut shaming
Although I liked the story overall, I felt that the resolution of the conflicts between the characters was way too fast for the amount of "bad blood" that was supposedly between them. Angel left town 5 years ago because her boyfriend, Sebastian, agreed to become engaged to her younger sister at her father's insistence. She comes back to town for her father's funeral, and a week later, all is forgiven. Okay, maybe not quite that fast, but that is more or less how it felt while reading it. I have never read one of the author's books before. The Reapers MC only played an auxiliary part in this story. Perhaps having the rest of the story would have made this book a little more well-rounded. I am not sure. I am willing to give other books in the series a chance.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my voluntary and honest review.
This book wasn't as interesting as the blurb makes it sound and I came away disappointed because I'd expected a gripping and hot read from the details given. It even starts with an 18+ warning because of content, so I was expecting more than what I got. I had to encourage myself to keep reading in the hope it got better and nearly gave up at 80% because I was bored. I stuck with it because I'd got that far, but sadly it didn't get any better and I felt the ending didn't really conclude the story. Personally, I think you need to read the other books first to make sense of some things, so this definitely isn't a standalone either. This book just wasn't for me, but hats off to whomever wrote the blurb because they did a good job at getting readers interested. It's just a shame the book didn't match up 😔
This is my first book from this author and although I see potential, this book needs a good editor. Words were repetitive and probably what bugged me the most was the incorrect use of the question mark. Instead of and exclamation mark or a period, the author only used question marks. It drove me insane! I guess it was a constant typo because I cannot believe it was intentional.
The plot and story was ok. Not impressive, just ok. I felt a lot of holes in the story, but maybe because i haven’t read the other stories? Also, I wanted to clobber everyone in this book...and I must’ve rolled my eyes a lot. I guess there will be books about Anastasia or maybe not. But it ended with that storyline open. Don’t know if I’ll read this author’s other work in the future, but right now i think I’ll pass.
Sebastian Stone was seeing Angelica against her parents wishes. Then Sebastian is told he has to marry her sister and her parents would help his father who is ill. When Angelica heard this she ran away and ended up with a biker gang but was rescued by the Reapers MC. She stayed with them for five years until she heard her father had died and went to the funeral. A solicitor told her she had to go the next day for the reading of the will. There she finds out her father left his shares to her to run the company with Sebastian. They get off to a bad start but Sebastian tells her why he did what he did. Explaining he has only attended social functions with Anastasia but used a club for his other needs. She attends his club with him and then her goes to meet the Reapers with him. This is a good book but I’ll leave you to find out what happens.
I DNF this book at 60%. I found the story line rushed which made the book feel shallow to me. Sebastian was a weak, judgmental a-hole (and not in a good way). Angel was a doormat when it came to Sebastian. Sebastian betrays her in the worst possible way by taking her virginity and then becoming engaged to her sister. Angel rants for several pages about how she hates him and wants revenge, etc yet caves at the first real conversation the two have. And the inclusion of the BDSM club served no purpose to the story, in my opinion. I felt like it was just thrown in there to make the book seem "sexier."
This is my first Stella Andrews book and I'm not sure I will try another one. I was really disappointed by this book since Andrews is hyped in a lot of my book groups. My overall reaction to this book was blah.
Another good book that's related to the Twisted Reapers Angel one of their whores who came to them as a broken girl and was built up into a tough woman needs to leave the Rubicon to go home to face her family after five years away. Sebastian Stone her first and only love who left her to be with her sister and why she ran five years ago and ended up in trouble that the Reapers rescued her from is there waiting for her return. There is alot of hurt and angst waiting here for her but maybe healing as well and she and Sebastian have lots to sort out but the chemistry between them is still there and burning hotter than ever. There is lots of anger but also love in this book and it is a great read with a bit of a twist in the end when her sister is to wed a Mafia Boss.
HEA Series, interconnected characters *over 18 readers only * Twisted Reapers MC related Second Chance
Trigger Warnings BD SM club Mafia conflict
Angel has been hiding out with the Twisted Reapers, working as club candy and bartender, until she gets notified that her father has passed. There is no loss of love back "home," only betrayal. The worst kind - the man she did love tossed her aside for her sister. The first 7 chapters will set your heart against Sebastian. Chapter 8's beginning won't help. But there is a plot twist coming. You may or may not see it. This book is not as involved in the Reapers business. It is more of as a segue to the next story. I did enjoy it.
This series needs to be read in order. You don't have to read the Twisted Reapers series first, but it does help.
Love and hate go hand in hand in this contemporary romance. Angel returns home for her father 's funeral with hate in her heart for him, her mother, her sister and her first love, Sebastian. Angel ran off five years ago when her heart (and soul) was broken by Sebastian 's and her sister Anastasia 's announcement that they are engaged.
Is it possible for the hate to become love once again? Or is Angel irrevocably broken by the machinations of her family and Sebastian?
Told from Angel 's perspective and Sebastian 's perspective, the story is laid out, but there is almost too much drama, too much flipping of feelings, just too much telling.
