I feel like I’m being a little generous with the stars, but oh well. I don’t know what I expected this to be, other than smutty, but it wasn’t great. This read like a bored small-town southern housewife was writing it in the afternoon while her kids were napping, thinking she was being naughty and illicit dipping her toes into the wide world of smut while still clutching her pearls.
There were so many cringe-worthy things going on here. The FMC’s inner dialogue constantly telling herself she’s “wired wrong” for wanting sex, and then wanting sex with two men. She keeps waffling between outrageous confidence and shyness, which can be done if written well, but this just felt like multiple personality disorder. I was also hoping we’d get more about the male leads, but we get practically nothing. We know what they do for work, and that one was a shit dad, and that’s about it. I don’t even know how Elijah went from insta-lust to insta-love in a chapter, but whatever. And she loves him the moment she sees him and doesn’t even know his name.
The shit dads is another weird theme to come in for a porn book. I wish we’d spent less time on FMC’s relationship with her Dad and more on the building of her relationship with her men. I mean, literally we get one covert convo and then suddenly the two are ambushing her at work and breeding her. I get that this is a novella, and supposed to be smut, but it’s just….Ugghh. Don’t even get me started on her fainting out of nowhere like a delicate southern bell or crying mid-smut scene because the guys find out she’s a virgin and shes afraid they’re mad.

I wish it were a smidge longer! Seemed like a huge jump from when they finally got together to the end scene.. It was hot, don’t get me wrong, but also off at the same time. You don’t really have a lot of time to enjoy their story.

Potential!
This book had potential, but I just could not connect with the characters. It has all the eliminates I like ménage, forbidden relationships, but the female character came off as wishy washy. One minute she is a mature women, the next she is a wimpy little girl, just not relatable. All in all it’s an okay read, but not memorable.

This is quick and dirty but with decent build up. I would have liked it more if Jayce and Elijah explored their bisexuality with each other but the ending was fun and kinky. Good “in between” read. 3.5 ⭐️

Upgrading the Future
On one hand, I feel bad for Madison "Madi" Shepherd. On the other hand, she DEFINITELY upgrades when she dumps the chump and gets with Jayce Hampton and Elijah Carrington.

It wasn't just the scorching teasing and heat that kept me enthralled, but it was also the relationships, good and bad, and the taunting of what to expect in some of the future books of the series. 🌶🔥🥵
It's a bummer that there is very minimal MM play, but boy, does my mind fill in the gaps. ❤️🔥🍆🍆😘

Claimed by my Ex's Dad & His Friend, part of the Eggplant Canyon series, was about Madison "Madi" Shepherd, Jayce Hampton (her ex's dad), and Elijah Carrington, Jayce's friend as well as his potential business partner.
Unfortunately, this book needed more background information on the main characters, especially the men. All the reader learned was that the FMC had graduated college, was returning home to become a teacher, and that she had a deadbeat father with whom she would be living. The information on the two MMCs was even more sparse. Jayce was the CEO of a company, and Elijah was apparently the owner of a similar company that they were trying to merge together. There's no mention of ages for either man, no background on whether or not Elijah had ever been married or had kids, etc. It was a complete blank.
This was hard to do a review on because, not only was there so much going on, but there was also a lot that was difficult to take in. Oh, it wasn't the menage relationship the three got into. That was expected. But the inner dialogue that Madison had with herself was distracting and worrisome. She tended to browbeat herself for her "dirty thoughts" about sexual things. It was like she was quoting someone else's opinions and trying to make them her own. There was also entirely too much focus on deadbeat dads and their broken relationships with their adult kids.
The endless unresolved issues were a bit frustrating. Some got answered in the epilogue...well not really, but they did give a small hint at a resolution. Who was the father of which child? Did they get married? Which man became the legal husband, and which man did she marry in a handfasting ceremony?
It's not nice for an author to leave so many unfinished plotlines dangling, and unanswered questions that should have a resolution. Because of these things, I couldn't give it more than a two-star rating...and I decided to not read the other five books in the series because I didn't want to go through this five more times. I'll find my menage and reverse harem thrills with an author who knows how to write about such things.

this was a quick read but so hot and steamy you can't put it down. It will have your heart beating fast and steam your glasses. This is a forbidden age gap, menage romance. Maddison's heart was torn out by Brett until his dad and his best friend come into the picture and make her the most treasured women there is.

I’m not even sorry about this title. My brain can only handle the bare minimum at the moment. This book still managed to disappoint me. Firstly, it had no business being this much of a slow burn for a 99 page smüt book. Like why are these people talking about doing things and imagining them more than actually doing anything? I understand anticipation, but we know that wasn’t the point of the book. Plus this horny Virgin heroine barely knew the mechanics of sex in the first scene but she was a whole minx then rest of the time. Idk why I’m expecting sense where none is meant to be found. Also, I understand OTT men and breeding kink, but there was way too much baby talk for 99 pages also. Like dear lord these people had imagined their babies and their future even before touching each other. Not sexy tbh. And worst of all, I hate books that tease sword crossing action and don’t fulfill the promise, especially since this one teases it multiple times. All that wasted time in the beginning could be put toward that instead 😒

First time trying this author and I really wanted to love it. This book has everything… age-gap, ménage, seriously smutty, low story/ high heat. Unfortunately it still didn’t work for me.
I disliked all the characters and I know it’s supposed to be low plot smut, but every character was a self centered a**hole.
WARNING…SPOILERS BELOW….
FMC was dating a guy for YEARS, who we later find out, was totally using her (again, for YEARS?!?) and she runs right into his dad’s arm without a second glance, after dating YEARS?
How did her boyfriend turn into such a horrible person and a user? According to him, he learned it from her NEW BOYFRIEND, a.k.a….his dad. Does this girl just have terrible taste in men?
FMC sees a new guy, she never saw before, and it was insta-love-at-first-sight. So he jumps into the mix. She knows absolutely NOTHING about this guy and neither do we, except we eventually find out his name is Elijah…and that’s it.
FMC has crappy father who mistreats her, ignores her and eventually starts sleeping with her bestie. What a charmer, can’t wait for his story since he sounds so nice, jk.
Let’s talk CRINGY… the ENTIRE book is so over-the-top ridiculous I kept thinking it had to be a joke. VIRGIN FMC sees ex’s dad & his friend through her bedroom window & gets naked and masturbates for them to watch. She’s not even sure her ex’s dad wants her like that, and doesn’t even know his friends’ name. Luckily ex’s dad has absolutely NO BOUNDARIES or qualms about f**king his sons’ hot girlfriend immediately after they break up (good dad!!).
So much about this book could have been amazing but always crosses into sketchy instead of hot. Also, it eludes to the fact that the guys are bisexual and together as well, which is hot, but we get zero details (like ‘sorry folks, MF book only, but yes, use your imagination because this is a full poly relationship’). If that’s the case, this should be a bi-sexual story and NOT dismiss the MM relationship.

One second they weren’t together, the next scene, they were and then the last scene of the book and the end. I wanted a little bit more of them being together before the freaking drama with Jayce’s said, freaking Brent. What an asshole Brent was. This is my first ménage romance. I’ve been hooked on reverse harems for months and spotted this book on Facebook. Not sure if I like it as much. Like I said it’s my first.
The story itself was a little weird to get into, but I read the summary and knew what I was walking into.
I don’t normally enjoy MM spicy scenes but Elijah and Jace had a chemistry which didn’t seem possible considering there isn’t much to go on as far as interaction between the two.
It’s very short so don’t expect a whole lot of depth and things are left unfinished like character drama, but considering this is a whole series I guess we’ll see if the storyline develops furthermore.
This is also the first time I’ve heard of a breeding kink. Not sure if this is what I’d qualify as such, but it didn’t get super weird so I stayed.

In this book we meet Madison Shepherd, Jayce Hampton, & Elijah Carrington . When Madison comes home she is excited to be so close to her boyfriend like right next door kind of close. The only problem with this is she also gets to see him cheating on her. So she goes over and makes sure he knows it is done. The only problem the one older man she just can't seem to forget her ex's dad Jayce. Jayce knows he shouldn't think about Madison but with them truly broken up now he knows he isn't betraying his son. Elijah can't believe the goddess he sees in the window when he goes to a business meeting at Jayce's house. now that he has seen though he wonders can they all have it all?
Amazing story, first time reading this author's work. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Madison is back in her hometown to start her career and finally get in touch with her boyfriend. However, when she opens her curtains, and finds him cheating on her. She storms over to his father's home and confronts him. She ends up punching him before leaving. She runs into his father on her way out and also sees a sexy stranger downstairs before she leaves. Jayce can't believe what his son has done and is shocked even more when Madison teases him and his friend Elijah from her window. Both knows that they want her and wait to claim her. Will Madison finally get the men she wants? What will her father say about their relationship?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book for any book lover.

A wildly sexual story
This story has very little plot away from the sexual relationship. The naughtiness and risky nature of the whole local area seems to be the primary focus... The sexual naughtiness is the main focus. I prefer more substance in my stories... Like at the start you learn that The neighbor and his business associate are working on something... It might be better if the guys figured out a way to get their girl to work for them or them to work for her or maybe a walk in the woods and hills could lead to them saving her from something like an injury or a stalker, or they could even be stalking her after she's been leading them on.... in this story the whole kindergarten teacher school thing seems just strange to me.

This novella is tri POV, well written, and looks to be an interesting start to a new small town series. I enjoyed Madison��s strength and willingness to advocate for herself. I felt like the story was too short for content and would have benefited from being longer.

Jayce, Elijah and Madison
Wow. I am not really into this type of kink but....wow, I can not lie. This book was a good one.
Madison arrived from college just to find her boyfriend with another woman. Though hurt she was nit heartbroken. Pretty soon, she was fantasising being with Jayce, her ex's dad and his friend Elijah. Which them she found the stability and confidence she need it. I also liked that it wasn't all about the sex thought there's lot if it. There was actually a pretty solid storyline. Highly recommended

Short and Sexy
This was a fast-paced, short, and sexy read!
The story was great and never felt boring. I loved how possessive and caring Jayce and Elijah were with Madison! The amount of steam was good for such a short read. My only complaint was that each chapter was in a certain character’s POV and sometimes the POV would switch in the chapter like the author forgot which character it was supposed to be in.
If you like taboo, breeding, age-gap, and sexy books then you will love this!

This was an ok read. I liked everything but the relationship between father and son and father and daughter. At some point no matter how much your told your dad loves you, you move on. And don’t keep trying. I hated that he ignored her all of her life, wasn’t there when she needed him, and when she was trying to build a relationship, just kept ditching her, had to be reminded that he cared about her, lied to her about his relationship. It turned me off the books so fast. Fast paced and sexy with her men tho.
