If you like age gap contemporary romances, you'll enjoy this book. It won't take you long to get caught up in Lucy and Caleb's story. What happens when you catch your boss naked? What happens when you like what you see? The back and forth banter will keep you entertained. An evil ex, a little angst, two pink lines and no shortage of chemistry or flirting. A cute, light read that's hard to put down. An HEA and no cliffhanger. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lucy Everett, a 24-year-old recent graduate from San Francisco State University in hotel management and hospitality, was a pleaser. So, as a student of making anyone whom she encounters feel welcomed and valued, she was a perfect candidate for an internship at the headquarters of one of the country’s most elite boutique hotel enterprises, The Pink Carnation Hotel Collection. Save the best for last they always say, and this one did just that. This and the first book were my favorites from this series. It had sensuality, sexiness, heartfelt moments and emotions. Caleb and Zack were very similar in their values and love. They didn’t let the possibility of allowing love in their lives to take a back seat though Caleb didn’t know that’s what he was feeling at first, whereas Zack did. The beliefs of the company and the message about dating the boss didn’t matter to them. They wanted to shout it out to the world and were not afraid to show affection to the women they loved. Both situations did require hiding it at first but simply because they worried about how it would affect the women’s reputations and wanting to see how they would go. In the end I believe Crystal and Lucy wound up still working for their respectful companies but as a unit with both Zack and Caleb explaining their relationships to the staff at each company. I know this review is about “Office Mischief” but I can’t help but compare “Guy Next Door” with it. I love stories with the main guy not being afraid of his emotions and allowing his heart to speak, consequences be damned. It shows vulnerability in a man and that is something I don’t read or see about too often. It shows me that they are not afraid of their feelings and will act on it if it lights them up inside. The thing I could predict about this story is what ultimately ends up causing the strain on their relationship and what breaks them up temporarily. Reading about how Lucy and Caleb’s relationship grew was fun and exciting to read. With the perfect amount of heat and easy flow of their relationship, I couldn’t put the book down. After each chapter I needed to know what was going to happen. All in all I’m really glad I picked up this series as I enjoyed the storylines and characters. I have enjoyed being a part of this world and I’m sad it’s over. I look forward to reading more books from this author.

Caleb is the CEO of the hotel chain Lucy is doing her internship at. The first day she helped an employee with files that had just spilled all over the floor. When she was introduced to Caleb she literally fell into his arms as she is a a klutz. He couldn’t keep his mind off of Lucy. That evening the company was throwing a “get to know you and welcome” party for the new interns and Lucy accidentally spilled her red wine on the front of his pants. She went to dab him dry and came into full contact with his package. She was so embarrassed. He knew right then and there she was going to be his new co assistant. Before he could offer her the job she rambled on about how she had so much to offer the company. She was afraid he was going to fire her. Caleb just laughed explained that he wanted to offer her a job, she accepted.

This is a forbidden love story with an older attractive wealthy man, Caleb and his young intern, Lucy. When Lucy gets her dream intern position in hospitality at PCH she’s over excited and ready to show them what she’s got skills to manage time, recognizing the details and her ability to accomplish multiple task. When Caleb’s assistant says she needs help Caleb agrees to hire a 2nd assistant. Once day Lucy helps out his assistant and she and Lucy get along wonderfully and Lucy is offered the full time job! These two have a mutual attraction but know they should keep it professional until the flirting becomes to much and they end up spending intimate time together. There are moments when they have laughter and joy and Lucy even embarrasses herself wanting to run away but Caleb finds it endearing. Lucy is starting an internship at Caleb's company. Caleb picks her to be his second assistant when she goes in for her second day. Sparks fly between them. However, it wasn't until she accidentally walked in on him coming out of his office shower that things start to heat up between them. Caleb sees her differently from other women he has been with. He is still trying to get his ex to leave him alone. Just as things with him and Lucy are looking great his ex causes more problems. Can he get Lucy to listen to him?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

In this we meet Lucy & Caleb. Lucy is excited to be interning at a hotel that she is excited to be a part of. On the first day of her internship she finds a woman who is about to lose all her files. she helps her not knowing it will open up her opportunities for her future. Caleb has worked on making a name for himself in the hotel business but still honoring his mentor. The last girl he dated he can't seem to get rid of. One look at Lucy and he wonders if she is the real reason all he does is work. Can these two find a HEA or will they just be work colleges and nothing more?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Office Mischief is a highly enjoyable romantic comedy featuring Caleb, the owner and CEO of twenty boutique hotels who has a reputation as a player, and Lucy, his new klutzy intern who accepts an employment offer as his second assistant. These amazing characters share fun banter, humorous situations, emotional highs and lows, steamy attraction, and an unexpected journey to love. I highly recommend this well written book by Kelly Myers.

This was a fun sexy read. Lucy spies her new boss as she is coming in to her new internship. Caleb finagles it so she is his 2nd assistant. Before long their chaperon is gone and they can't keep their hands off each other. It isn't a good romance without some twists. Caleb has an ex-girlfriend causing mischief by stirring the pot. Lucy is a smart cookie and Caleb recognizes that. He has to convince her he is sincere.

I actually really liked this book, one of my favourites I’ve read, Caleb is extremely charming, liked everything about their relationship.
Only thing that strikes me, and it nags at me the whole way through is, can’t believe how stupid Lucy is to get involved with her boss, which I can forgive as these are my favourite types of books, but the other one’s I read at least show a little restraint on both parts, haggling with their conscience whether they should cross that line.
It just nagged at me, it felt almost taking advantage of her.
Alls well, that ends well anyway.

She is given another job as his secretary along with fringe benefits that rewards her with two pink lines. Will these two progresses to a happily ever after given Caleb's a playboy?

Loved the story about Lucy and Caleb. Lucy ends up working for Caleb and falling in love with him. They cross the line between professional and lovers. There are some misunderstanding so Lucy leaves. Will Caleb find that her really only wants Lucy? Will he give up his playboy ways? Great story and a wonderful addition to the series.

If there's one thing I hate it's a stupid FMC.
Lucy is one of the stupidest. You don't see it until about 70ish% in, but she believes the ex girlfriend, then when she checks out the articles online she never once thinks to check the dates and not ONCE does she consider discussing the issue with the MC before she dumps him.
Stupid.FUCKING.FMC.
(The only reason I didn't give this one star is because it's well written.)

But Caleb’s ex is back in town and she wants him back. Is there hope for the two of them or will it end with a broken heart ? A fantastic office romance that I really enjoyed and just couldn’t put down. I can highly recommend it

This book grabbed my attention from the first page. I read this book in one sitting, I could not put it down. I would say the part that left me the most disappointed was the ending but I guess it had to end sometime. :) I would encourage everyone to to take the time to check this book out, well worth it.

Lucy is hyped about her internship at the luxury hotel chain, The Pink Carnation. Caleb meets them all and incidents happen which puts Lucy front and center. They start dating which let to other things. A mistake happens and the stars seem to be aligned. Lucy's doubts and inferiority takes hold. Is there anyway for them to straighten it all out?

Definitely cute and addicting I got to admit I could not stop reading this and honestly I felt like it was too short and I need more to this story. I honestly just wanted to keep on reading this book. That was one of the main reasons why I made this a 5 star rating and other then that it was well written and it was one of those stories you thought about even after you read it so I definitely recommend this book and series so far.
