This novella is part of the Endo-kai Mafia Series. It is an interconnected standalone, which means you do not need to read the other books to enjoy this book but I highly recommend it. The novella follows Dice, the enforcer of Yakuza who needs an information on a certain client & Lily, a stripper who’s in search of her missing friend. They both make a deal to help each other out. Dice is the definition of a broken beast with a big heart. He may look tough, and I mean, he is brutal... But he's also a gooey-ball of mush for his lady.

This is a lot more plot heavy than I expected but I love this world Audrey created! Dice is silent in his obsession with watching his Lilly and kills anyone that touches her against her wishes, which we love that. I think this is good for anyone looking for a “sweet”, insta love type story…I’m hoping we get more from the characters in this world! I’m looking at you Niko 😈

Wow! This book is dark and so hot! This part is the Endo-Kai Mafia series. This book follows Lily and Dice. This is a short story but is action packed and very steamy can't wait for what is next for this author.

Violent Truth is the second installment in The Endo-Kai Mafia, a series of interconnected standalones, a novella featuring broody, silent and serious Dice (from Jap. Daisuke) and his obsession, stripper Lily.
People might think that from the length of the book, theirs is an insta-love kind of relationship. It might be a bit more insta than the others, but I don't quite think so. If you're familiar with the two previous books, you certainly heard about Dice's cool and collected demeanor and his fixation with Lily. They might not speak to each other yet, but they communicate a lot with their eyes. You can feel something was already brewing between the two.
With very different upbringings, they're extremely alike: their doubts and fears similar and their peculiar ways to deal with the hand life dealt.
In the middle of a very important business dealing for the Yakuza, Dice finds himself in conflict between his duty to his family and his distracted mind. Lily finds her courage and asks for help and it comes to her understanding that her shadow might be the only one to trust and save her as well as himself, even though his function in the organization and the way he delivers.
The narrative flows steady and direct and is extremelly well executed for the words it carries: we have obsessed/stalked by a an enforcer/killer, a stripper on dire circumstances, a business to complete, suspects in disguise, secret agendas, the voice of authority against primal instincts. I loved the glimpse into Dice's background, how he came to be Yakuza and why he collected what he collected. He saw with seeing eyes, what nobody else did, by his own experience. Lily and Dice connected because they saw each other and ssw themselves in one another.
In the intimacy department you already know how it goes with Audrey: dirty, decadent, delicious, dark and twisted!🔥🔥🔥

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "VIOLENT TRUTH"
WOW!!!! What an intense mind-blowing dark twisted Mafia Romance its a wild rollercoaster ride full of suspense, secrets, lies, betrayal, human trafficking, child abuse, violence, danger, abandonment issues, kidnapping, twists that have turning the pages to the end.
Lily is a stripper the Club the Endo-kai do business meetings Dice is their enforcer obsessed with Lily pays her $100.00 everyone she dances but never speaks to her they have a connection but him being in the the Mafia he doesn't want to pull her into his world its dangerous.
Tomo the boss of Endo-kai is doing business with a Mr. Harry trying to get a contact for guns he's a regular of Lily's which Dice doesn't like but if he follows the rules he's ok with it if anyone touches Lily against the rules their lives are forfeit.
Lily's BF with Piper & housemate she works as a stripper with her when she goes missing she doesn't know where to turn she approaches Dice for his help, he'll only do it if she spys on Mr. Harry for him they agree to a deal.
I definitely recommend to get this well written Dark Mafia Romance well worth the read following
"Dice & Lily's" journey to get a HEA, so much happens your fully absorbed in this book with great interesting dark characters that pull you right into all the intense drama, you so won't be disappointed.

This book was an arc but the review is my honest thoughts.
The book follows Lily, a stripper and Dice who is a member of the Endo-Kai who has always watched Lily but has never gone further so she wasn’t put in danger.
Both characters have a strong connection, even before talking but once Lilys best friend goes missing and both their enemy is the top suspect they decide to work together.
The spice was good, but because it was a novella I felt the plot overtook the spice. There was one particular scene involving s corpse, which made me feel uncomfortable. I am a huge dark romance fan, but for me this was a little past my threshold but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t for others.
The triggers are listed briefly at the start of the book, but a more extensive list is on the authors website.
Activities include knives, restraints, blood, and corpses.
I felt that the book, even though it’s a novella moved very very fast, and jumped quickly in the end to marriage which kind of came out of nowhere.
I did enjoy the book, but I did feel it quite rushed and would have liked some more development within the plot.

Rush writes dark romance like no other. She hits you square in the gut and takes no prisoners from Page 1.
Dice is a man of few words, so it feels fitting his story is a novella. If it had been any longer, I believe we'd have lost the feel of what makes Dice a somewhat redeemable hero, even if, as an enforcer, he'll always be a dark hero. But I love that Tomo gave his blessing. That was the icing on the cake, particularly if you look at what he did for Dice when he was little!
This series also consists of a prequel that introduces all the key characters; just a heads-up.

This is Lily and Dice's story and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm used to a little more shall we say dirty stuff in Audrey Rush's books, but I'm not complaining by any means. It was dark and I enjoyed visiting with the other family members. Dice is different and I believe that is why this story is the way it is. Dice is dark and now we know why. We have some background on his life and I really like knowing that. Lily is a sweet girl and she's been through a lot, but Dice couldn't have found a more perfect woman. A woman who accepts him for what he is.
Audrey Rush is as usual fantastic. This lady knows how to write dark and disturbing which I truly enjoy. Maybe there's some of that in me too. Either way Ms. Rush you wrote a wonderful book and I can't wait to see what that devious mind of yours comes up with next.

Great story! This book is true to the dark romance style. Both Dice and Lily has some trauma to overcome from their childhoods, though in some ways Dice came out of it a stronger more confident person, where as Lily still seems to feel unworthy. All the intense elements were there but you really have to just go with the story and not look at the details too much. Otherwise you might find the entire story moves way too fast. I feel like there were some details missing, specifically concerning Dice's obsession will Lily and her specific issues that lead her to fall for Dice so quickly. Regardless, It makes for a quick and intense read. I received a free copy of this book and am leaving a review voluntarily.

The book can be read as a standalone but I dont recommend it because the side characters show up from the first book. Please read the trigger warnings. Even though it's a novella it packs a good bit within the story itself. This book truly lives up to its name. This couple made no sense but made sense. Confusing yes but once you read it you will understand it. Dice being the enforcer of the yakuza truly does enforce things. Lily was sweet and kind but knew who to turn to when needed. If you like a crazy dark hero I suggest this book.

Dice is the enforcer for the Endo-Kai mafia and this his story. He is obsessed with Lily and their relationship is steamy. The plot kept me captivated all the way to the end. It’s dark, intense, violent, suspenseful and very entertaining. There’s danger, human trafficking, betrayal, kidnapping, drugs, secrets and lies. This is such a good short mafia romance & it hits all the right points. After learning about Dice’s past, I was able to understand so much about his ways & the way he handles himself. Lily may be a stripper, but this woman is brave & can handle some rough stuff. Audrey always amazes me with the spice in her books, I’m always gasping for air after. The epilogue was so DAMN good!! Definitely recommend if you are looking for quick mafia romance!

This fast-paced story is part of the Endo-Kai Japanese Mafia series. The novella focuses on Dice, the enforcer, who is enamoured with Lily, a woman he has actually never spoken to. It’s an interesting concept, an instalove stalker—he can’t decide if he loves her or wants to unalive her. The story moves the Mafia plot along slightly but mostly involves Dice & Lily, their backstories, and dark & dirty work issues. Mind the content warnings—less Audrey Rush trademark kink, more graphic details.

In Violent Truth by Audrey Rush we meet Dice and Lily. Dice is an enforcer for the Endo-Kai mafia. Lily is a dancer/stripper at the Gilded Stage in the Samurai Castle Resort and Casino. The characters are raw, rough, tough, even evil and yes at times normal. This book is written with quite a bit of graphic violence. Audrey Rush has done it again, another book as only she can write it.

Such a phenomenal Novella! Absolutely love the Yakuza men! This insta-love story between a mafia enforcer and a stripper was captivating from the beginning and so good for being a short one. Dice takes “touch her and d1e” vibes to a whole new level. Audrey never fails to write such spicy scenes and I am here for them! Can’t wait to see who’s next in the mafia to get a story.

If you want a quick read where they both come from troubled childhoods, one turned to stripping the other rescued by the Japanese mafia. Dice is obssesed with dancer Lily, yet he's never spoken a word to her just watched and protected her from afar, but now she stands in the Yakuzas way, Dice needs a spy and with her friend missing Lily needs help. Bringing Lily into his world wasn't part of Dices plan but now he doesn't plan on letting her go. Well written fast paced, dark themes!, steamy hot scenes and more!

Ugh
I hate leaving bad reviews. I normally just don't say anything at all but this one...ugh. I liked the first book a lot. While I understand this was a novella and things happened quickly I just didn't understand the main characters. They were bland and the fmc was very annoying. With a revise and more storyline put in, this could be a great book.

This book is dark, but I loved it. it is dark like one of the alders' brothers' books if you read them. Dice is always silent but keeps a eye on Lily. He has a big heart and protects her at all costs. Enjoyed this somewhat short story. I hope Audrey finish's this series. Would love the stories of the others

Ms. Rush has done it again. The feelings that dice has for lily starts off as obsession. No words spoken, just feeling and some stalking. Lily needs help and she turns to the one person who she thinks can help her. A whirlwind romance. Check triggers.

I really liked that this was a novella! I liked the mafia plot line and the darkness of it but I did feel like it wasn’t as spicy as all of Audrey’s other books 😏 that’s ok! It was still good!

The story was perfect for Dice. He is not your average run-of-the-mill guy. A man who keeps eyeballs in a jar? Who likes to grow things and lives in the basement of the casino. Yea....

This book was short but so good. The Insta love was something I wasn’t expecting to like so much because usually I don’t. Dice and Lily were amazing. Dice may be a man of few words but he makes up for it. 🔥🔥

This was a pretty fast-paced love story between a dancer & a yakuza enforcer who's silently loved & protected her from a distance. It's action-packed, gory, & spicy as hell! An amazing follow-up from the series starter!

I enjoyed Lilly and Dice’s story. I do wish it was longer to have more angst and not so much insta love. There was some scenes that I would have liked to seen more of. But overall it was a good quick read. Check TW!
