You better come up with the money, or some very bad men will be coming for you. And I can promise you, you don’t want that.
With the help of her boss, Rob Dalton finally gets Claire Sherman to go out with him. Things are rocky at first, but they smooth out eventually.
Until he finds out her uncle is blackmailing her. If she doesn’t keep giving him money, he’ll get custody of her sister. She doesn’t want that to happen, so she keeps paying.
Now he’s hitting her up for more than she can get.
“Ask your boyfriend,” he tells her. “He’s rich.” Claire won’t do that, but what is she going to do now?
Rob Dalton knows.
This is a happily-ever-after billionaire romance that’s exciting and fun. You won’t want to miss it.
So, after reading the blurb, I thought this was gonna be a great read. It was not, by any means, and for one simple reason... the writing was extremely immature. It felt stilted and choppy. When you read it, it felt like a 6 - or 7 year old was writing it. There was no emotion. It was bad.
Also, I love instalove books... you read them because you want something light and breezy. They're not meant to win pulitzer prizes. They're not supposed to be literary genius. They're just supposed to be fluff that lets you have fun. This was not that. In most instalove books, the MMC usually realizes from the moment he sees her that they're meant to be and then works on getting her. This was far from that. At the very end of the book, he just tells her he loves her, though you don't get that from him at all. You don't get it from the FMC either. It was just bad.
All the books in this series are good. I adore Rob, from being against marriage to falling for the girl who rejects him, to being such a stand-up guy, I just fell in love with him. All the Daltons are awesome .
