Cormac of Styx Legion knows his value to his people. He is an enforcer, a weapon to be wielded, an executioner. Nothing more. He is accepted but not loved. Feared but not welcomed. He is part of his legion, brutal, efficient and utterly alone.

When he receives a coded message claiming he has been matched with an Interstellar Bride, he knows the match must be a terrible miscalculation. When his bride turns out to be a young, innocent human, there is nothing he can do but protect her until the error can be corrected. Rogue 5 is no place for a naïve female, especially one as beautiful, sensitive and completely WRONG for him as Abigail Gregg.

Cormac vows to protect her. Shelter her. Hide his darkness. Make sure she is mated to a worthy male, not a killer. But gods help him, she won’t leave him the F#CK alone. She won’t stop tempting him to touch her. To tame her. To give in and take what he wants.

When Cormac—her ‘perfect’ matched mate—claims she’s a mistake, Abigail Gregg has had enough bullsh!t from men on every planet. If Cormac doesn’t want her, she’ll find someone she wants. A male with mountains of muscle, scars, tattoos, a rebel attitude and fangs. God, yes please. A male with fangs who’s not afraid to bite.

This was a good book in this series and I really liked how strong the Hero was. It was a bit too steamy for my liking. These two were all up on each other so much that there wasn’t much of a storyline other than how much they hooked up. Though I did like both characters. It was funny how much Abi initially wanted an Atlan Beast, but ended up liking her outlaw enforcer even more from the start. She had a fear of vampires but loved the fact that he had fangs and liked to bite.

The audiobook was narrated by C.J. Bloom and Tor Thom, both of these narrators are terrific and Tor Thom is one of my favorites, especially for alien romance with his super deep voice.

Love this world

I love the world that Grace Goodwin has created. There are so many different aliens, and each one follows their own rules.

Currently on an alien romance bender... This wasn't great. Overall lacked conflict. These two are in insta-lust on steroids which somehow made the sexy parts not hot.

She's a social media billionaire looking for a real love -- he's a warrior assassin and he's never dared to hope for a mate.

They meet. They fuck. They travel back to his planet.

Absolutely 5🌟 fabulous !!!

This is Abby's story we met her in one of the previous Atlan adventures. She might be young but she knows exactly what she wants and what she herself is willing to give, everything! When she volunteers for the bride program she is the first to be paid with a male from Rouge 5 where Legions control the planet and fight and protect their power. When she sees Cormac she knows he's the make for her. Cormac never believed that he would actually be matched for a bride. He's an enforced for his people brutal and ruthless so that he can protect those he loves and cared for. He doesn't believe for a moment that anyone could ever love and accept him, that is until he meets Abby. He can't believe this delicate perfect female is his perfect match. He sure that once she gets to know him he'll be rejected. Abby surprises him with her absolute deflation that he belongs to her and not high and no one will come between them. As they face danger and adventure together they find more than acceptance, they find passion devotion and absolute love! Loved every minute of this book and I'm looking forward to more!! Highly recommend💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥

The Interstellar Brides series takes place at a time where aliens are real and there are several different planets and species. There is a galactic enemy known as the hive, which is a technological species that invades planets and either kills its inhabitants or transforms their captives into one of them. A coalition was formed between the planets who are at war with the hive. Each member of the coalition is required to supply soldiers and brides to the cause. Soldiers to fight the hive, and brides to repopulate the diminished that have fallen victim to the war. There is a neurological test that a bride takes to me matched to their perfect alien planet, then their perfect alien match on that planet, through a series of sexual desires that only our subconscious can answer for. Earth allows for volunteers to apply to the program, or grants female criminals the option to become a bride over a prison sentence. Those who volunteer are paid a healthy sum of money, and those who are prisoners are given clean slates. All applicants are required to give up their Earth citizenship to become a resident of their new chosen planet. A bride has 30 days to accept or reject their match. If they accept their claim, they are mated to their new alien husband for the rest of their lives where they are expected to make babies. If they reject their mate, they are assigned a new one on that same planet. Where they are still expected to make babies. Warden Egara makes continued appearances throughout the series as she is the one who processes the brides in the Florida.

Written in first person, Rogue Enforcer is book 22 in this series and follows the human bride Abigail “Abby” Gregg and her mate Cormac from moon base 5. We first met Cormac in book 13, “Her Rogue Mates.” He is Styx main enforcer, responsible for killing any and all enemies without doubt or question. Part Hyperion, Part Prillion with a dash of Everian, Cormac is a badass brute that is a little too good at his job. He is also older and wiser with more experience than most, though not necessarily with females as they’re all afraid of him. Abby, on the other hand, just became of age to volunteer for the Bride program. We first met Abby in book 5 of the Beast series “Beast Charming” as the spoiled rich friend of Elena’s Abby’s father hired Elena to tutor her. She signed up for the IB program to find the connection she had been missing her entire life. All 18 years of it. Abby discovered a bomb in the vents of the shuttle on their way from the transport station to Rogue 5. The bomb blew up the ship, but not before they were able to make it to an escape pod. The two landed on a planet next to, what they thought was, an abandoned hive base. Turns out, it was full of Atlan prisoners. They save the Atlans, escape, the planet, and return to Rogue 5, where they hunted down the traders and killed them, then lived happily ever after as part of Styx legion.

I’m a little concerned with a continuity aspect of this book. In the final chapter of “Her Rogue Mates,” we discover that Harper is pregnant with Stxy and/or Blade’s child. But in this book, Abby meets Harper and says nothing regarding a baby bump or little hybrid toddling around. It could be a timeline issue where Abby was matched shortly after she was discovered pregnant so she isn’t showing yet. But Styx and Blade have since helped Hellion in killing Cerberus in book 3 of the beast series “Beauty and the Beast.” Harper should either be waddling around by now, or carrying a child, but there was zero mention of either. Did she lose the baby? Inquiring minds want to know. Anyway, aside from that, I found Abby’s character to be clingy and needy. She told Cormac that she loved him 3 times without him returning the sentiment. Cormac didn’t believe that she meant it, which is understandable because I didn’t really believe her either. After the first time, I wouldn’t have said it again until he said it first. He finally said he loved her too after the fourth time she said it, in front of the entire legion. Desperate, clingy, needy, young and naïve, that describes Abby.

Hyperions are the same size as Hunters, a little bigger than humans, but not bigger than Atlans. Their vampire-like bite contains mating serum, marking the female as theirs and supplying health benefits while giving her the hardest orgasms of her life. I am in love with this alien species, but it’s probably because of my vampire obsession.

There have been way too many romance novels I’ve read that had me frustrated and yelling “Jesus Christ, when are they gonna fuck?! Get to the good shit already!” When we’re 50% in, and the main characters have barely kissed each other, leaves readers like me aggravated. This is NOT one of those books. I’m fairly confident that there is more sexual content in this book than adventure. It is, quite literally, word porn.

As I’ve read through this series and all its spin offs, I can attest that the plot is incredibly addictive. I am way too invested in each book, in all its adventure and romance. Grace Goodwin has ruined me for all other romance novels. After reading her material, I find the others to be tame, dull and overall anticlimactic. The plot running in the background of each book, circling the war against the hive, is addictive. This is one of the few series where the adventure is just as intriguing as the romance scenes. I am not ashamed to admit that I have read each of her books at least twice. 🫶🏻

Man, so many of this author's books have made it on my summer reading list. It was such a coincidence that I had recently finished the previous Styx Legion book, which introduced me to the Cormac character. But as much as I liked his character I liked Abigail's more. She was all in from the getgo. She wanted Cormac from the getgo. Nothing he said would dissuade her. And I was so ready for Cormac to get the love and loyalty that he deserved. He did so much for his legion and all he got in return was fear and a reputation for being their 'boogey man'. I wasn't sure if the Hive would make an appearance in this book, but they sure did. They are the scourge of the galaxy. I loved the fact that their coming together was more than just Abigail being an Interstellar Bride. They literally crash landed on a planet that was supposedly abandoned by the Hive. Pages in and we realize that is not the case. They haven't abandoned anything. In fact, there are prisoners still in cells and...well... suffice to say this book is good. The sex is hot. The action is great. The coming together of the H/h is great.

Worth the read.

Abigail wanted what her friend Elena had, a big Atlan Warlord. When she experienced the simulation, an Atlan was not what her heart wanted. She was matched to an Enforcer, Styx Legion. Cormac was a weapon an executioner. He didn’t need a bride. The female they sent him was young, weak, beautiful, and all wrong for him. He would protect her but also insure that she had a mate that was worthy of her.

Why are all the Rogue 5 males dense? I mean, each has some sort of hang up with the mate they are given or find. Abby is a sweetheart and wants to be happy and loved like Elena. Obviously she didn’t get chosen for the Beast series but the IBP was the next best thing. You have to love Abby’s determination. She wasn’t about to let her mate get away. She teased and seduced him. Cormac was no match for her. I love that even being a social media star she was down to earth. She wanted someone to love her, to love. Cormac never thought he would even have anyone truly love him. Abby’s strength and being persistent and even telling people what was on her mind was great. I wonder who will be next in the series to find love.

Excitement and heat on high. I absolutely love to this book, I was so happy to see Abby get her alien. She had in her mind exactly what she wanted. But the interstellar bride program had a different idea. And as we find out they knew best. Cormac never thought, never, ever, thought he would get a Bride. It was actually a strange situation that put him in the system to be eligible for a bride. Being from moon base rogue five didn’t exactly qualify him. But the universe has a really strange sense of humor. Cormac and his mate Abby were made for each other. She needed him as much as he needed her. They just had to realize it. This book had excitement around every corner, and danger looking to find both of them. But it was the steam in there private times together that showed them they were more than just mates, they loved each other. Now if they can just survive. Everybody loves a happily ever after and this girl is ready for another book in the series.

Prepare to be amazed!

This is Abby's story. There was another book that mentions her previously. She is young but she knows exactly what she wants. When she volunteers for the bride program she is the first to be paired with a male from Rouge 5 where Legions control the planet.

When she sees Cormac she knows he's the man for her. Cormac never believed that he would actually be matched for a bride. He's an enforcer for his people. He doesn't believe for a moment that anyone could ever love and accept him....until he meets Abby. He can't believe this delicate perfect female is his perfect match. He sure that once she gets to know him, he'll be rejected.

Abby surprises him by stating that he belongs to her. They face a lot of danger together and find passion along the way.

Loved every minute of this book! I can't believe this is book 22 in the series! It just keeps getting better.

A special mating for Abby

This was an entertaining read especially because our lead female Abby was strong, adventurous, and spoke her mind. Abby had signed up for the mate program, so she thought that her mate would be Atlan Warrior. But no, her mate is a Warrior but a Styx and they have fangs. What was cool about that was Abby accepted that straight away and was happy to have her own mate. Now, her warrior mate was actually an Enforcer for his people. Cormac assumed that there would be no mate for him since he was called a monster for his reputation. Abby, the wonderful woman that she is, accepts Cormac as he is and shows him with her actions and words. There is a happy ending for the couple. Read On!

I really enjoyed this book. There are a lot of different exciting parts that could lead to many new characters. Our Heroine and Hero are both wonderful. My expectations were very low from the preview of the book. I was afraid it would be a constant barrage of our Hero telling us why he can't be with our Heroine. It really wasn't like that. Of all of the interstellar brides books this is easily my favorite. Grace Goodwin has really started to get the balance right with the action of the Universe she has created and the steamy love scenes. Waiting for the next book will be a challenge but one I am ready for.

A Deep and Healing Love

How can you heal a being that lives to kill, to hunt traitors and depraved beings who threaten his people? A being who frightens the very people he protects?
Abby has been matched to her perfect mate as an Interstellar Bride. Not one to waste time or energy on fools, Abby let's those around her know that her mate is a being of integrity and has the capacity to love.
Read Rogue Enforcer and see Abby teach her mate he is not the monster he thinks he is and is worthy of her love!

This is an intense and steamy romance between Abby and her Interstellar match Cormac who is an enforcer on Rogue 5.. Abby has had it with human males so she decided to volunteer for the Interstellar Brides program. She is matched to Hercules with a body to die for. Cormac initially decides that the match is a mistake but he will protect Abby with his life. Abby broke down his will and Cormac finally succumbed to the match and took her as his mate. Lots of non stop action and it is definitely hard to put this book down.

I really enjoyed this book because I remember her character from way back and then I remember him Sticks (his brother like/best friend) they are the aliens that have fangs like vampires.

I love that she knew exactly what she wanted and went for it & her kindness to her big bad enforcer was so sweet and just what he needed!

Her game on the ship ended up saving his life & then stranding them on a hive planet where they were able to save other aliens from the hive.

There was sass, humorous moments, spice, action & adventure.

It was a fun book very enjoyable

Meh!! I DNFed this book. I was trying to finish it just because I bought at full price. However, the book description is SOOOO misleading. The main girl was not naive or innocent. The MMF was not someone that did not believe he did not deserve love. He wanted to keep the MFC.

Also, the MFC was annoying with her “you know how many dicks I’ve had in my mouth” comment. I thought she was innocent. Not in that world. Also, she was very “meh” about the main people the MMC killed. I don’t know. Maybe I am bitter about the buying a book that was sold with a fake description. I am salty.

Things are never quite what they seem.

Abby is a small, beautiful young Social Media star on Earth.
Cormac is a large, deadly Enforcer for his people.
In theory, it seems like a total mismatch. But is it?
The latest chapter in the Interstellar Brides series is extremely well written. In fact, I would go as far as to say I think its Ms Goodwin's best one to date.
Not to be missed.

Sizzling

The pairing of Cormac and Abby sizzles! Abby gets a big scary teddy bear if a mate. He may be monstrous to others, but he isn’t going to let any harm come to his mate. He thinks she is too young and innocent to want anything to do with him, but he soon discovers she wants him and just wants to be the center of someone’s world.

Very entertaining as Cormac finds his mate has plenty of sass for her small size.

Rogue Enforcer…

I love reading the interstellar brides series from this author and this one is no exception..
We met Abby from the bachelor beast series as the spoilt rich girl looking for love and in this instance she has when she is paired with Cormac from Rouge 5…
With the evil Hive still plaguing the galaxy and the action adventure that it entails definatly makes this book hard to put down….

Another fantastic addition to the Interstellar Brides program with a Rogue 5 enforcer and his Terran mate. Even though the Atlans are my favorites, these lawless Rogues are super exciting and always have awesome storylines. I can't say much about this one, as I will give something away that should be only be discovered by reading the book. Grab it and be prepared for another pageturner from Grace Goodwin.

2.75 stars - well, this was.... something

I honestly feel like around half of the book is just the description of sex scenes, no joke. Still, there were elements that I liked about the story that kept me reading it. I feel like this had the potential to be a great read if more elements and details of the story and the world-building had been explored.

All in all, this was an ok read and I might or might not come back to check other books by this author.

Cormac honestly thinks he cannot be loved or deserves love because he is a beast of male that protects Styx Legion at any cost and he is also a pirate. but he didn't account for Abigail Gregg bka as Abby.

Abby joins the Interstellar Bride Program to get an Atlan but she gets Cormac, a ruthless enforcer that had noting but sheer, unadulterated love for her. She wants him and he is heistant about her. Not as long as she is breathing is that gonna happen!!

I love these couplings...spot on

Protector

This is a story about a male, who is so good an enforcer for his people he is feared. Not only does he protect them, but when he is matched to an Interstellar Bride from Earth, he gives himself as her protective mate as well. The pacing of the story was excellent. I couldn't stop reading and put it down down all day. The HEA was excellent and I highly recommend this episode in the Interstellar Brides Program. A five star read!

Another winner from Grace Goodwin

Loved the story of Styx Legion Enforcer Cormac and Abby. He has always been on the outside protecting his legion from enemies, with everyone being frightened of him...while Abby has always needed someone to love while loving her in return...no spoilers, riveting action, more Hive, strange creatures bring a roller coaster ride to the new mates.

Perfect Grumpy Sunshine Pairing

Cormac had never known acceptance or love outside of a select few. Used to being used and taken for granted Cormac and Abby aren’t prepared for something real.

A match that seems made in hell is instead a perfect match.

A quick and steamy read. Perfect for a few hours of me time.

I can’t gush enough about how much I loved this book. Abby wasn’t a brat like I feared she would be. I loved her playful personality. And Cormac? SWOON! He had all the rough and tough bad boy vibes my dirty little heart could have wanted. This was probably my favorite book so far in the series. Please give us more on this series, Ms Goodwin!!!

Plot summary on amazon is completely Incorrect!

This was another fun and wonderful edition to the interstellar brides saga. However, it was not the plot that was described on the amazon site AT ALL. Which worked out, for me anyway, because I liked the book that I read better than the book I was expecting, anyway ☺ Another winner, Ms. Goodwin!

I enjoyed this one. It was different and a little darker with it being set on Rogue 5. We get Cormac, an enforcer for the Styx legion and he is given a mate, Abigail. We met Abigail in a previous story (one of the Atlan beasts) and while she thought she wanted an Atlan beast when she meets Cormac she is drawn to him. He is big as well and gives her the safe feeling. She might be young but I love that she won't back down from giving things a chance with him. Cormac worries that he is too dark for her since he kills to protect his legion but Abigail understands that. I enjoyed this one and the twists that come up.
The narrators did a great job with the story and characters.

Loved Cormac and Abby's story

I love that Cormac got his bride. It was a good story with lots of action. Abby was by his side throughout everything. It had love, bombs blowing up, rescues, and new friends.
