Kenna: I have lived at the duplex on 207 Parker Street for over three years now. Three full years in the duplex my parents had purchased. Three full years without Jude Lincoln in my life. Now, out of nowhere he decides to move back in? All I knew was that my life was about to become so much worse with him next door. If I was lucky, we’d both be able to keep our distance.

Jude: Moving back home was the last thing I wanted to do, but when the grad assistant position opened up, I couldn’t say no. So here I was, four years and a bachelor’s degree after leaving this little town, back home and living in the duplex my parents had purchased. Well, they’d purchased it with their best friends. Which meant that I was now a neighbor to McKenna Clarke. The shrew. After surviving four years of hell in college, I could survive one year living next to Kenna. I only hoped she had plans after college. Plans far, far away.

The plan for each of them had been simple; however when a global pandemic hit only a few months after becoming neighbors, the plan went to hell. Isolation and loneliness take hold, and one drunken night reveals a list. A bucket list of sorts. With the game in motion, will they learn to get along? Or will their shared hatred of each other break their lives apart once and for all?

Little paper games de Elle Sparrow

Argumento:

Kenna

One Lockdown, two neighbours (Kenna & Jude) that have a long history of deep seated loathing of each other and one kinky list. On and plenty of time to explore each and every one of them. Its definitely one hot as hell read!!! Still underneath all that kinky steaminess theres still a story about misunderstanding, hurt, love and family. I really liked the banter between Kenna & Jude and i also really liked their relationship was handled. How even with all the sex it still felt like they gave each other time to explore both themselves as well as one another. I actually really liked this book and the fact it was set now in this covid time. A great read

This book grabbed my attention from the very start and I was able to finish it in about 24 hours.

This book is an amazing enemies to lovers and a forced proximity book with lots of steam and exploration. The character's parents are best friends and they have grown together absolutely despising one another. We see how they grow and learn more about one another throughout the span of the first few months of the 2020 pandemic.

Elle was able to remind me of what I was feeling in college when I first heard about the shutdown. I was able to see I wasn't alone during my classes and my relationships at the time. Keep up the great work and keep writing amazing stories.

Kenna and Jude grew up together, but have always had a love-hate relationship. Now after years apart, Jude is moving back to his family's half of the duplex that's shared with Kenna's. The plan is to avoid each other at all costs. But when the pandemic hits, loneliness and boredom will bring the two together, and shed light on secrets that have been kept.

4.5 stars
Kenna and Jude have an odd relationship. Even though their parents are close, they grew  to be enemies. The game they decided to play was fun and spicy, and it really made for a great story. The scenes they shared were very steamy, and you really felt a connection with them.

I didnt care for Janie's role in the story. I'm glad she was there to send the toys (because there are some very fun scenes with those), but the rest didn't work for me, especially with the blind date issue.

This is a sexy, incredible, fast-burn, enemies to lovers, forced-proximity novel that takes place at the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdown. When I tell you that I DEVOURED this book in one sitting--I am not exaggerating. I read that thing so fast because it sucked me in with it's creativity and wit, characters that come alive off the page and HOT HOT HOT scenes(we are talking a ONE HANDED READ, PEOPLE). It is clear Elle Sparrow can write intelligent and interesting stories that are gripping and unputdownable and I will be recommending Little Paper Games to everyone who wants a spicy read!

The steam, the spice, the sass! The teacher/student scene was the best! I love the idea of the paper game. I think the only thing that made it a four-star instead of five is the way it so abruptly ended. There could have been more development into the dynamic after the big traumatic reveal. It seemed as though there was a page-count goal, we met it, ope end NOW. I liked the way the story progressed up to that point. The ending just gave me some whiplash. I also wish they would have spaced out the mystery box exploration. I feel like there was so much built into the box and that could have made for some really amazing experiences between Jude and Kenna.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I loved this book so much and my first quarantine romance and after 2020 this book was very healing. I absolutely loved it. The writing was fantastic and Elle is now responsible for my water and electric bill after this book it was that hot! The chemistry between Kenna and Jude was perfection. The enemies to lovers was spot on and even ventured to the lovers and enemies territory and was written well so I didn’t get whiplash. The only thing is I hope we get more! I would love to see them come from hurt and working on things and seeing how everything changed and how they grew as a couple. I would love more of them.

Get your tissues ready

I felt EVERY emotion throughout this book. Love, desire, passion, heartbreak, sadness, you name it.

One minute I'm looking at t my significant other imagining ripping his clothes off the next, I'm bawling my eyes out and messaging the author to yell at her for making me cry.

You will not regret this book in the least .

Fun and Quick Read

Oooh this is much spicier than I was prepared for, for sure. Fun story, with some sad twists that hit home for sure. Wish the story or at least epilogue would have hit with a bang, or the big back-door finish that hung over the head of quite a bit of the book. But I do recommend!

Light hearted, fun and steamy! If I had to go through a pandemic again, I want to duplicate this situation. And I’m really thinking of adding a gym to my house after reading this book! Whew! It’s a very gentle nudge into the kinky world of passion. And who doesn’t love a Pleasure Dom??? Read this like it’s a quicky!!!

Shrew Shrew Shrew

If I have to read shrew one more time…. To be fair it was only used FOURTEEN TIMES in this novella. The icing on this one star cake is the musical mistake. The Beatles performed “Fat Bottom Girls”?!? Really? Don’t disrespect Queen like that. A thesaurus and Google search could have saved this review, but sadly I couldn’t get past that.

Not a slow burn! An enemies to lovers book that will keep you reading. I loved the details of this story and those toys were an excellent surprise. Also the way Elle gave the characters real problems to overcome with time and counseling. A HEA but a realistic world outcome.

Met the author, Elle Sparrow, at a signing and ended up picking up this book... and FELL IN LOVE with this story! Kenna and Jude's parents are friends but Kenna and Jude are NOT! After Jude moves back into town and into one side of a duplex owned by both of their parents, the world ENDS (or, maybe just the COVID pandemic) and they are forced to remain home next to one another. A spicy little game between the two makes them both discover more about their enemy.

I ate this book up and wished it could just keep going!
