I enjoyed the strong characters within this book . The fact that even if you don’t see friends for a long time that depthof friendship can be rekindled due to the letters sent by Brees dead husband. I had worked out the ending but it’s a great story and I want to know more about the other friends and their problems . It has definitely been left ready for the consecutive books . I would recommend it

I enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. This is a new author for me which I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a story that is full of action, suspense and secrets. A story about five women and one dead husband. You don't want to miss what happens in this story. The twists and turns are taken to a new level. They had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters. They bring the story to life on each page and kept it engaging. They are strong, supportive characters that truly made the story for me. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.
I want to thank Goodreads Giveaways and the publisher for this ARC copy of this book.
This is not my normal type of book to read It struck me as more chick lit then it did mystery. Either way it was a really good book. I got to know the Ruby Sisters and to understand them fairly well. The story kept me turning the pages and wondering what it was that Bre's husband left for her. I ended up reading until late last night to find out the ending which turned out to be a kind of cliff hanger so now I have to see if I can find the next book in the series to see where the Sisters go from here.
What a book. Five women separated for 30 years because of a secret. A dying man’s wish to give his wife one last gift after his passing. How lives reconnected after so many years could fall back into place so easily. How togetherness can heal and bring new life into a person. You will love this book. I couldn’t put it down!
This is a marvelous story of women who come to be sisters, lost track of one another, then reconnected in a powerful way. I loved each of them, unique in their own way and I loved the way they rallied around Bree when she needed them most. A powerful story about the gift of love, forgiveness and hope. Highly recommended.
A very touching story. As a secret is slowly being revealed so many emotions are felt,. Then when the gift is finally revealed it's a shocker! Thoroughly enjoyed this book which I received as a gift. This review is my honest opinion.
This a beautifully written story that is full of emotions. Once you start reading this book, you don't want to put it down. Loved it and highly recommend it. I received a complimentary copy and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
I enjoyed Bree and the Pact’s story so much! Such a nice flow with well defined plot and likable characters. A great start to what I know will be an amazing series.
Well written story of friendship, loyalty, love, and commitment of The Ruby Sisters friendship. This story is a page turner as I just had to find out what would happen next. Looking forward to reading book two.
What a lovely heartwarming story. I was hooked from the beginning. It made me laugh, cry and everything in-between. I just wish there was a sequel....or is there....I'm off to have a look
What a beautiful story. So touching and deep. Love, and loss go hand in hand. Nothing is forever but even after someone I gone they can bless you with precious memories and gifts. Beautiful.
This was a very good read characters were believable and easy to relate to, I’m glad Bree decided to honor her husband wishes and that she decided to connect again with the Ruby Sisters.
Did not like the stories plot but it ended well even it took too long for the reveal. Paul’s well meaning could more been solved by revealing the truth earlier!
This story has touched me to the point of tears. Friendships are so important in our lives and need to be kept close so each person can benefit from it. Great writing Beca. Keep it up.
The characters were bland & the plot twists were predictable. No surprises in this story. The storyline started off as intriguing, but soon fell flat. Dissapointing...
