Still good
A nice light read. I didn't mind myself quite as enthralled with this book as I was with some of the author's other books in the series. It was still good though and there are still loose ends to wrap up, so I'm sure we will be hearing more from the gang at Creel Creek.

weak link
This is one of the weaker books in the series. The editing and copyediting are sub par. It has several distracting errors and plot points that feel shoehorned in. The internal logic, magic, and character’s reactions to challenges don’t feel compelling.
There are a number of chilling, well written scenes in between a lot of lackluster went there, did that. There was no emotional payout for many ideas foreshadowed, hinted, or outright promised info from previous books.

What a twist
So, Constance n has her mother back (sort of), her grandmother decided to take it to another world (quite literally), and Creel Creek is just as paranormal as ever. Now that Constance has joined the Faction as their secret keeper, just what will she encounter? Can she fix her broken mother? Will she be able to locate and deal with Morgana? All this will be answered, to a.degree, in this book.
As usual, it is a fun read, and very imaginative in its take on magic, witches and the like.

Magical entertainment
I cannot say enough good things about this series! Constance and her friends are delightful; their interactions are realistic and fun. The magic is wielded mindfully, the mystery (mysteries?) is engaging, and Constance's decency may have earned her an unexpected ally. She is sure to need it: I/S (no spoiler!), Harris, and Gran's forgotten deal have yet to be dealt with. I hate that I'll have to wait for Book 7!

Even familiars can go bad
Constance knew demons couldn't be trusted, nor warlocks. She never would have believed that a witch's familiar could also be evil. Her own familiar had told her a few lies, bad enough, but a familiar known as Morgana was as evil as any demon. She cost Constance nearly twenty years of time with her mom! And NIW she gas Constance in her sights. Can Constance take her in and send her away to familiar jail?

Twists and Turns
This book offered a lot of surprise twists with slot of answers to past story lines. It a!so opens up some potential future story lines. I hope they are explored. The ending was happy for now and opens up the possibilities for more in depth development t for some of the characters which is always good for a series. I hope Christine does so.

This series started off strong, but it's losing a bit of steam for me in this one. Aside from some bad editing, the dialogue was rough going in places. I like the story overall but I'm not seeing the character development that makes a really good series un-put-downable. Curious to see what sort of new faction appears in the next one and if there's any more interesting character development.

While You Were Spellbound: Witching Hour Book 6!
I liked the closed links in this book 6 of Witching Hour. Ivan gets finished off, Morgana gets put away securely, Constance and her mom get back together, but her dad is gone, and Constance gets a new vampire ally. Constance and Dave keep getting closer and making the girls safer. Can't imagine what book 7 is going to be about!

Good book. Loved she got her mother back. That adventures were as always 'out of this world'. The complete package of unique characters, great storyline and excellent writing. Very good book.

Packed full of so many things
Cleared up a lot of mysteries from the past to the present in this one. Didn't see it all coming and it was a rush! Look forward to going back to Creel Creek again and again!

Another couldn't put it down
Still kept me spellbound to the end. About the time that I thought I might have figured it out, a twist would come. Enjoyed this one as much as the others.

They're getting lazy
I still enjoy the story line, but the release of this book was delayed at least twice, and after all that, the editing was still terrible. Spelling and grammatical errors abound.

GREAT SERIES
HAVE READ ALL 6 BOOKS, LOVE THEM ALL. Each one got better than the last. The five books fit together perfectly & answered a lot of questions. There are still a few new questions for the next book which is several months away, DARN IT!

This Story keeps getting better!
This series is just my cup of tea. It moves quickly and the story is interesting. I like the paranormals in it and the way it concludes a mystery but keeps you coming back for the next instalment.

Better and Better
Love this series! The first few books were a bit slow, but I am so glad I stuck with it. The first books laid out an awesome foundation for the other books to pull from and keep you guessing as to what twist will happen next!

While You Were Spellbound had me on my toes the entire time. There were so many twist and turns throughout but it also answered past story lines from previous books. It was just enough to keep you happy. It was an easy and fast read.

So much deception

I thoroughly enjoy this series. I enjoy that the MC is in her 40s and doesn't complain like she's 80 and I enjoy the storyline. It is quite different from the rest.
