Rate this book
In his quest to reverse time and space to save his fallen kingdom, the fallen prince, Bai Lixin, was bound to a dimensional system and became the host to an artificial intelligence called S419M.

From then on, he lived the life of the wind; world-hopping, constantly changing faces and blackening in seconds.

Ancient, modern, future and post-apocalyptic worlds, mecha, blood battles, gods and demons, immortals….his mental power was becoming more and more powerful, and he was on the verge of achieving the condition for reversing time and space.

But unexpectedly, he triggered a hidden God-level mission: The Return of the Lord God!

He had to complete this mandatory mission before he could return to his original world! If he knew how it was triggered, he would have avoided it!

3.5/5 🌟

I can definitely see why people who have read this reminded them of FOD. In terms of the aspect of quick transmigration, world-hopping and face slapping moments, this novel and FOD really shared some similarity. But that's where the similarity stops.

Unlike FOD, every arc in this feels more chill and the plot more smooth sailing, to the point of being anticlimactic at times. Both MC and ML are OP characters that's why the arcs aren't as intense. They completed their tasks a bit too easily but it saved me so much stress knowing that the MC and ML can solved each world without sweat. The face slapping moments are good, though. Even though Bai Lixin and Dijia aren't the most kindhearted and morally upright characters, they're not as black-bellied as the MC in FOD.

Every arc has different settings and though the pattern on each arc is quite repetitive - Bai Lixin transmigrating, finding his lover, changing the original plot, saving his lover's soul fragments, proceed to the next world - this novel is still very enjoyable. There's no deeper substance in the plot itself, it's even quite trashy, but I was undoubtedly very into it that I've read all 317 chapters in less than 5 days. Very entertaining, in my opinion. And you know the thing I liked about this novel more than FOD? That the MC easily recognized his lover in every world, not mistaking him for another man. I still feel cheated and betrayed whenever I remember how the MC in FOD kissed another man because he thought it was his lover.

The last part is all over the place though and the ending is quite rushed. When I read the very last chapter, I actually thought that I was missing a few more chapters but since I learned that it has a sequel, it comforted me a bit.

This is not something I would recommend because I'm fully aware that this novel is objectively not the best thing, but personally, I really had a blast reading this.

each and every arcs quite good. the way their romance dont feel bland even tho it repetitive is 🫶🏻 just that, conclusion plot is quite draggy and kind of make me losing interest to care.

also super happy that they have chance to have baby, maybe the one and only baby in abo arc.

I'm conflicted, it started out strong but then ended badly. Just when I thought the novel would finally come to an end and I could enjoy some fluff, the author decided to write an extremely messy and redundant "plot twist". And to top it off, after the "plot twist" comes another hidden curveball. I think the author knew that she/he screwed up by adding in these unnecessary elements because she/he then proceeded to abruptly end the story. Wow.

Anyways, the first few arcs were amazing but then starting from that interstellar robot arc all the endings of the arcs became extremely weird and rushed. Especially that abo arc I think the author legit had a brain fart when writing that + Republic of China arc, oh my days.

𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗰 (𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆):

1. Modern world - 7/10
Typical entertainment industry stuff but I liked it

2. Modern world - 5/10
I don't really remember this one so I guess it was okay

3. Western Fantasy world - 8/10
I liked the world building and girl boss Sophia

4. Modern world - 7.5/10
Fluffy e-sports which I liked, but that time when they played 5 computers with 4 hands was just extremely cringe and unrealistic (if you know you know)

5. Ancient world - 7/10
I remember I liked it when I read it

6. Western Fantasy world - 7/10
I remember I liked it when I read it (slightly less than the Ancient world one though)

7. Interstellar world - 9/10
I really enjoyed this one, even though guide and sentinels are really overused now

8. Interstellar world - 6/10
This one started off good but the ending was rushed (I was getting so much second-hand embarrassment from this arc)

9. Republic of China - 2/10
I honestly don't understand how jade gambling ended up becoming some weird plot about a red flag sea god (also ML wasn't the best in this one)

10. ABO world - 1/10
This arc did not exist. The plot flew with the wind and the author attempted to utilise her/his "plot twist" method but it was just a mess. The MC also didn't fulfill the wish of the original body by becoming a singer (?) which I was kinda disappointed by (like he realised ONE song)

11. Cultivation world - 6/10
I really liked this one but then the ending was just lukewarm and abrupt (once again)

12. Truth, Intrigue, Court, Reality - 6/10
Got more of the MC's past

13. Divine Realm - 4/10
It was fine I guess

14. Divine Realm-End Times - 2 or 3/10
First half was okay, second half was horrendous

Anyways, I started reading the sequel and I'm on campus oddities but tbh it's more comedy then unlimited flow. I'm also not a big fan of the current shura field (even though they're clearly the same person, like please stop eating your own vinegar😭🤚)

The translated name is "the return of the lord God"

I thought this novel was an amazingly detailed qt novel! Each arc could honestly have been its own story, but I never felt like they were missing anything major, or had any huge plot holes.

I also liked how not every story had to face slap the original protagonist. In some, the Mc and ml actually got along quite well with the original mc/ml.

I also thought the wrapper story was pretty interesting. The author obviously thought so as well, because quite a few arcs referenced it, or built upon that outer story.

Finally, I liked how the Mc wasn't purely dependent on his other half. They collaborate and work together, like a well matched couple should.
