Behind the razor-wire fences of a British defence company, a former refugee finally receives the signal he’s been waiting for. His mission is a simple one - kill as many as you can.
In central London, a lone police officer struggles to stay alive as airliners fall from the skies and terrorists roam the streets, killing indiscriminately.
Elsewhere the US Ambassador is forced to make the toughest decision of his life as his embassy is besieged by a violent mob hellbent on its destruction.
Across Europe, towns and cities collapse like dominoes as the Caliphate’s war machine rumbles across the continent towards the English Channel.
Soon, Britain will face the full might of the approaching storm.
And only time will tell who lives, and who will pay the ultimate price.

This writer knows his stuff and he knows how to write! Described as a companion thriller to his Invasion Series book one, this is not a novel, but a series of vignettes. Don't let that put you off, it is just as thrilling, though terrifying, as the preceding novel. Intriguingly, and fair mindedly, he also gives us a glimpse of the view on the other side of the fence. He also reminds us that hatred and evil are not confined to any one race or religion, that, in fact, it may also reside in you or me. Highly recommend. Am now going off to read everything else he has written. Keep on writing Mr Alden, I'm addicted and don't want to suffer from withdrawal symptoms!
Bought this hoping for a conclusion to invasion, it was no such thing.A random collection of incidents, the only connection being they occur around the events of the original. Feel badly let down. If you read invasion you can avoid this and not miss anything important.
Read the original book Invasion first. This book is a companion to that story. This book scared the dodo out of me. In our effort to allow combative people into our country and treat them as citizens knowing when they are called, they will rise up and kill us.
a great follow up book well worth a read got me absorbed into the book as did invasion well worth a read prob one of the scary books i have read very close to home .
This book fills in the gaps between the two ,also sits well as a stand alone novel. I hope their are more of these novels to come,a frighteningly realistic set of books
If you can wrap your head around this whole invasion scenario then the book makes sense. It’s actually a good collection of stories within the original story. Some good characters and good stories. I recommend this one
This book is s compendium of tales associated with the conquest of Europe and most of Britain by the forces of the Caliphate. Each new chapter introduces a new character and describes their adventures in the invasion and occupation. Most of the time the chapter records the activities preceding their death. In this book we learn that the invasion was followed by a nuclear exchange between the Caliphate and Israel. Again the reason for restricting muslims from crowding into other countries is made clear. Their beliefs require them to destroy those who do not share their beliefs.
