10 books17 followersHi! I never know what to write in these things but I guess I’ll just tell you a bit about myself and a bit about my personal writing ethos.
I live in Sydney, Australia. I’m a primary school teacher by day, but by night… I’m still a primary school teacher because I have marking. But after that, and after I feed my two cats and spend some time with my husband, I become Rosalie Spencer!
As a child, I fell in love with fantasy. Then, as a teenager, I fell in love with romance. Then, as a young adult, I fell in love with erotic fiction. It wasn’t too long after that I found my favourite sub-genre, fantasy reverse harem. But it wasn’t until I turned thirty that I decided to actually chase this dream of writing what I loved to read!
I think one of the reasons it took me so long to do this is because writers groups I’ve been in before have turned up their nose at fantasy, romance, and erotica, let alone all those three together. I’ve been in circles where they aren’t seen as ‘real’ writing even as separate genres, let alone together.
But.
I want to take you, (hopefully) my reader, to the highs and the lows of trying to love and lust after complicated people. I want you to feel their struggles with the many people they love, the flutter in their bellies when they confess their adoration, the weight of their past when it overwhelms them, the fire that grips them when they make love. I want to write erotic scenes so descriptive it feels like it’s happening to you. I want to write werewolves and vampires and elves loving with all of their heart, even though they’re scared.
I’m not sure if I succeed all of the time, but that’s what I want. And, really, I don’t see what’s low brow about that.

3 ⭐️. This is a quick novella with delicious kinky smut with ff and written in third person- which mind you- I’m not used to at all anymore.
It’s easy to read, and not angsty or heartbreaking in the slightest. Just lighthearted smut and poly love.
I’m a sucker for second chance love SO OFC this was amazing.
The only thing that wasn’t for me personally was that it’s written in third person which means it made it so hard to relate, feel real compassion and raw emotion the characters were supposed to be feeling.
All in all quick and fun read <3

This novel was a delightful surprise for me.
I usually read PNR/Fantasy RH with the hope of FF/FFM/FMF as there are far too few true poly novels on the market, so thank you dear author!

Eh it was ok.
There were month and season gaps between parts. Then we missed all the mating mark stories. Then we're still worried about a letter to the weirdos that left? (Although now I want their love story and hope it includes sword crossing if I'm honest.)
