Stolen Soul is Book 8 in The Dirty Souls Series Riley’s story is dark, twisted, and conflicting. Is it a love story? You decide…
**Warning** Stolen Soul and all books in the Dirty Soul’s Mc series are a work of fiction and contain adult content. Due to the nature of the series, you should expect to come across various subject matter that some readers may find disturbing and it is intended for readers 18+ Please contact the author if you have any questions.
This book is Storm’s sister's story and although it is relevant to the series, it takes place away from the Dirty Soul compound. Beware of a cliffhanger ending!
Emma Creed lives in England and enjoys behaving like the perfect princess to her extremely tolerable husband all whilst raising 3 boys and a mini princess in the making. When she isn’t entertaining the voices in her head, she spends her free time with a glass of white wine and a good book. Emma has been an avid reader since she was a little girl and with a little encouragement to take the leap into writing, she discovered that she loved it. When she isn’t locked in her writing cave making up stories she can be found chatting on social media and wasting hours scrolling through Tik Toc.
Stolen Soul is the story of Riley Hayes and Raphael Vennetti, the man she was "gifted" to by his despotic brother who deals in people. While part of the Dirty Souls MC series (Riley is Storm's sister that the MC has been looking for a while), the story take place away from the MC and is more a mafia type book. At first, Raphael just wants to break her, just because he thinks he can. But he doesn't count on Riley. Riley pushes him like no one has before. Sees him like no one else before. And she just may be the one to break him.
Fan-fucking-tastic read! I really don't know how Emma Creed manages to get better and better with each book in this series! If you're a fan of darker and grittier reads, you seriously need this ENTIRE series in your life. Complex storylines with the absolute best character development around. Raphael Verretti is not a good man and he does very bad things. Definitely on the far side of "morally gray". For some strange reason, he wants to be better for Riley, but one cannot simply extricate yourself from the business of being bad. So he tries to hide that part of himself from her. But truths always seem to find their way through. Riley is one tough cookie. She's gone through so much, but still manages to be a fighter. Their attraction is instantaneous with super hot smexy times, but I loved how they both struggled with their feelings for the other, how they both grew emotionally and how their relationship grew.
Stolen Soul is the 8th book in the Dirty Souls MC and ends on a cliffhanger. You don't *have* to read the previous books, but why wouldn't you want to read all the books of one of the best fracking MC romance series around? Hmmm?
Do I hate him? Do I love him? Is it his fault he's a monster or does the environment have to do with it? Love or Stockholm syndrome ? Gifted from his brother, a human trafficking duo. Imma just say the only thing that redeems this man at all is that he was closing down his operation for her and her child. And that he treats her well. But can you love a monster that human traffics, that has kept other women as pets basically ? Finally her brother gets her back and she loses her child and "husband" in the process. I mean I cannot wait to see what happens..this series is awesome and has bunch of twists. Highly recommended.

Stolen Soul by Emma Creed is book 8 in The Dirty Souls MC Series. This starts the story of Riley Hayes and Raphael Verretti 'Rafe'. Raphael is the brother to Adriano who has kidnapped Riley thinking she was younger that she is. Adriano and Raphael are dark and dangerous men whose family is in to human trafficking and other awful things. But, Raphael isn't as dark as his brother and does not do children and has other not as dark traits. Riley was taken from her brother when they where trying to survive the situation they where in. Riley ended up being tortured and treated badly by Adriano. When Raphael sees her for the first time he fills a strong pull toward her that he wants her and he gets her. Riley has mixed feeling for Raphael but he isn't letting her go. I can't wait to get the next book in this series.
Emma’s books just get better and better. This is her best yet!
I won’t be adding any spoilers, as ARCs haven’t even gone out yet..
But, W O W!!!
This book isn’t set where we are used to, but it sucks you in from the first page. I felt so much through the course of this book. This book is dark, just how we like it.
If you’ve read the other Dirty Souls, you’ve already learnt about Rafe (mean human trafficking ring leader) and Riley, Storms's (MC prospect) sister. What she goes through is insane. I felt so much for her. Fear, sorrow, sadness, more fear, happiness, confusion at that happiness, and then deep sorrow. I felt so much anger and hatred towards Rafe, anger at him for doing unspeakable things, but then glimmers of hope that maybe, just maybe, he could have his redemption. I even asked Emma how she got me to fall in love with the devil because I have NO idea.
I can’t wait to see where she goes from here, to see where the characters go.. but I know wherever that is, it’ll be amazing.
Emma’s writing is impeccable. She is incredibly talented, and it baffles me that she isn’t a NYT/USA Today bestseller. She really is that good.
Isn’t Rafe supposed to be this cruel anti hero? And yet, he does nothing to the h for the first 20% of the story. And perhaps it’s me. But, I was hoping he would be this ruthless character, almost hating him until he redeemed himself. But, he’s so… mellow. Like, did I misunderstood the synopsis? Maybe. Honestly, it was more insta lust between the MCs more than anything. And if that’s your thing, then go for it.
I was in the mood for something dark and this wasn’t it.
This books ends in a cliffhanger and the h ends with someone else in the second book.

I obviously didn’t like this book as much in the others in this series so far.
I was very interested to see where it went, but it felt like it took until the very end for something to actually happen.
The writing felt different in this one, and the build up just wasn’t there for me.
***Spoilers ahead*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** I never felt enough fear from Riley after she was taken by Raphael. It wasn’t that she was slowly manipulated into thinking she loved her captor. She was immediately attracted to him and wanting more.
Ok so this book gave me whiplash and has left me reeling just like any book by this author. I am not ok and have no clue how to feel, especially after reading the blurb for the next book. Like any book in this series your head and heart will be sent on a rollercoaster of emotions with no safety bar, so don't be fooled just because a lot of it is spent away from the club. In fact you could say things were even more explosive because of it, knowing what we've learnt in previous books and then in this one. Honestly I could go on and on but if I do I'd start giving things away and trust me you don't want a second of this ruined. I'm going to go rock in a corner and hope #9 isn't too far off.
If you haven’t delved into the Dirty Souls world. You need too. These books just keep getting better. If you have you know all about Rafe and you probably hate him as much as I do. And you’ve heard about Riley (Storms sister). Let’s just say that this story is full of heartbreak, and what happens to Riley is not cool. But the growth in her and the change in Rafe W.O.W….. once again I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait to see how this series continues!
This was toxic as hell! But why couldn’t I stop reading it??
This was written nicely, the storyline flowed really well with lots of interesting, fast-paced, dark and twisted details and events, the characters never seemed to have a break lol.
The chemistry between our 2 mains to me was off the roof. It was so hot, their tension was so thick that I could cut it with a knife, yet so toxic and angsty; love their attractions and witty banters, and at the same time, there was this strangely sweet care and kindness they had for each other, everything was immaculate. Really, never a dull moment with them.
Now I have to admit they were so toxic for each other and the MMC was a walking red flag the whole time but hey, he tried his best to change and become a better man for the FMC, he did literally everything for her, even some of it was ridiculous, forceful and twisted as hell. So that was kinda sweet right? Lmao. That ngl, despite everything, I was still rooting for them. And they say romance is dead.
Anyway, overall, this was so good. But while I was really excited to know what will happen next, I really can’t start the next book, aka Captivated Soul.
And yes I knew so because I read the reviews beforehand and very lightly skimmed through the book because I was so confused reading the 1st chapter of it lol.
So forgive me, because I did, and still do, really want to see the HEA that Riley deserved after everything she’d been through, but I just can’t. In my mind, she already did tho…
Such a shame, for me I guess.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Just a wonderfully twisted dark story. The writing is amazing, but really showcases how brutal family expectations, guilt, love, necessity, and hate all intertwine to make one big mess. There’s little redeemable about Raphael. In fact, I quite hated him….while also being totally intrigued and into him (yes I’m not sure what that says about me). I like how tough Riley is and we know a good bit about her and other events from previous books, but it’s fascinating to learn about them from this point of view. Despite Raphael doing despicable things - and I mean truly despicable and sometimes doing those things to Riley you end up oddly feeling bad for him. I don’t know how the author made me feel that way but she did. Riley you just feel badly for her, and at the same time want to shake her and make her realize who/what she’s fallen in love with. The ending is a cliffhanger and will break your heart. Luckily the next book will be out quickly or I’m not sure my heart could take it. 💜
I won’t be broken. I will fight against whatever I have to until my brother comes to rescue me.
Exposed. Beaten. Captured.
Now, your only hope is the devil himself as he stakes his claim and takes you to his polished cage. The shirt may be crisp clean, the bed a soft dream and the finest of food…but, the barbed wire is crystal clear and sparks with danger if you try to reach out for your escape.
And, what’s worse?
The devil’s touch is awakening the darkest part inside of yourself.
A man who looks like this one can make a girl forget the danger she’s in.
Riley Hayes has always fought to protect herself and her brother, but now Riley will have to find the strength to survive one of the ruthless men she has ever met. Raphael Verretti is threatening to end her brother’s life if she doesn’t comply, Riley knows that she will do anything to keep him safe and agrees, sealing her fate.
But, with this deadly dance they both partake in the hate turns to something more and growing pressure to take what they both need is consumed…leading both down a path that they can’t resist.
“You’re mine. I’ll never let anyone take you from me.”
With the weeks turning into months, Riley knows that her soul has been captured by the devil…that she gives it to him freely and falls deeper to his waiting arms each night.
And, he will never let her go…especially now.
Riley Hayes is like ecstasy. She makes my head spin, and she’s the high I never want to come down from.
Riley Haye, the girl from the streets, with wolf captivating eyes and gentle touch brings out the light that was snuffed out long ago by the monster that Raphael became. She may be his only saviour, his reason to crawl out from the depths of the world he was born into creating and give everything up. Raphael knows that this can’t happen overnight, he has to play each move carefully and keep everything close to his chest for fear of the truth coming out of his sins.
But, there is one piece on the table that Raphael is struggling to control and each plan keeps going up in flames…they are drawing in closer to taking the one thing that Raphael can’t lose.
He’s the only one who can cure my hurt, despite being the creator of it.
Secrets, lies and false hopes are about to spiral out of control.
Is everything really black & white?
When all is lost…who can you really trust…can you trust yourself?
She wants me to admit to her that she’s different. But I’m the puppet master here, and she must learn that.
A few days later and I’m still reeling from the after effects from this book! This is the best writing to date from Emma Creed and I’m addicted to read more.
So, it’s not required to read the Dirty Souls series as this story does follow the events that happen within the storyline and you can easily pick up what is happening too…but, for those of you that have read the previous books…you are gonna loveeee how this cleverly comes together.
I love Riley’s character, everything that she faces and how this story develops her character finding out who she is. She pushes Raphal in soo many ways, her feelings do feel real and how her world is flipped over into this new predicament, your heart really does go out for her.
Raphael Verretti…just hearing his names gives you chills…with fear or heat I let you decide. Throughout the story you feel there is more to him then we first think and how he treats Riley does leave your mind whirling of who he really is. I actually love Raphal…he’s that perfect twisted villain character that’s wormed his charming ways into my heart.
A character that will have you feeling conflicted.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.
Finally...Riley's story and wow what a story! Throughout the series Storm has been searching for his sister. I don't want to say too much about the plot but what a cliffhanger! This story had sweet moments and violent moments but the trip this book takes you on is incredible. The action builds this story well. I wanted Riley to have the happy ending she deserves but Emma Creed has me waiting on the edge of my seat to see what happens.
Raphael is gifted Riley from his brother. I love the conflict that Raphael felt between doing what he knows, what is expected and who he wants to be for Riley. At first I wasn't sure how to feel about Raphael. He is a dark twisted character at times. The tenderness he could show Riley (and I believe he wanted to show her) was a sharp contrast to this man.
I do say I missed the Souls MC as this story mainly focuses on Riley's life with Raphael. There are parts that occur that happened in earlier Souls' books. I would recommend reading these books in order as the story just builds and builds. Even though cliffhangers aren't my thing Stolen Soul is an excellent read. And can't wait to see where we go next.
Ive sat in the same position on the edge of my seat from the minute i opened this book, Emma what kind of drugs do you put into these books 😮💨
I love Riley, she has so much resilience and strength after everything shes been through. Yes, its absolutely stockholm syndrome but I genuinely believe she loves him and is fighting with her thoughts
I loved Rafe from the beginning and from reading previous books, i knew he was a questionable character, to the point i was questioning even reading this book once i’d discovered he was the mmc. As i progressed through the story, i was in a love hate relationship with him, because he can be so dreamy, it almost makes you forget he’s trafficking innocent women. I really felt for him and once his story was shared, my heart broke for him.
I mean… hes mega tapped in the head and the way he deals with things is a tad overdramatic but jesus…
I might actually love him
Emma, you wonderful wonderful woman, another absolutely mega read 5/5
Holy moly! Having just finished reading Stolen Soul, Book 8 in the Dirty Souls MC series, I honestly have to admit I needed to sit back and ponder for awhile because this story is unlike any other in the series. It certainly packs a punch and hits fair and square into the middle of your heart.
Riley, Storm’s younger sister, who’s been missing for two years, is the lead female character in this story and we get to know her story from when she is ‘stolen’ onwards. It’s an amazing tale but what shines through the most is how strong Riley is, how fiercely loyal and caring she is too. To say I liked her is an understatement!
Raphael, the lead male, is one extremely determined man who doesn’t take no for an answer. Is he a good man? Well that’s a tricky one to answer and I think everyone has to decide for themselves. Me personally, I feel there are many facets to him but included in those are good ones, and I couldn’t help but like him. That doesn’t mean I always agreed with everything he did or said. The two lead characters together have so much chemistry that they practically burn the place down. Their many forays into the intimate side of their relationship is proof of that.
I enjoyed the timeline of events matching up with happenings from past stories in this series, very cleverly pieced together. This is a fast paced storyline and with so much action and drama there is never a dull moment. There’s also lots of emotions running rampant throughout the story—all meaningful and apt, including some witty moments, which help to balance the darker ones.
I look forward to reading the next story, heck I am eager for it, but have to say this is definitely a book everyone should read—the whole series is, though.
OMG Emma Creed what have you done? This book shattered my heart and soul. I have been anxiously waiting for this book and it was beyond my expectations. Riley and Raphael were just so engaging together and I was enthralled with their story. Even though their journey is dark and at times very explosive it is a beautiful of two souls coming together when the odds are very much against them and trying to survive in a very cruel world. This is my favourite books in this series and I am shouting from the rooftop just how amazing this series is. If you have not ready any of these books be prepared for your heart to race because the action is non stop and the passion is off the charts. Once your start you will not be able to stop. Cannot wait for the next book. Five big stars. Highly recommend!
I received an arc copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
A fast paced roller coaster of a read. I have read all the books in this series and after the Liam/Storm's emotional book, this one runs along the same time line. Riley's character has to be admired, she has dealt with so much in her young life and now she's in the hands of Rafe Verretti, a ruthless trafficker of women who views them as commodities. I'm still not sure where I stand with Rafe, in truth he's a despicable human being, however he worms his way under your skin through this book. There is definitely an argument for Stockholm Syndrome and more than a little coercion, however there is also romance of the darker variety. This is a captivating, well written book that pulls at the emotions and has you questioning your own morals. It ends on a cliffhanger and I am looking forward to the conclusion of Riley's story.
When Raphael laid eyes on the beautiful redhead with blue eyes chained to the wall he knew he had to have her. Asking his brother how much his brother gifted him the girl but warned she was nothing but trouble. Riley couldn't believe her fate. Out of the cells to a beautiful home. Rafe demanded her submission. She could play the puppet master's game until she could escape and search for her brother. As their relationship grew stronger Rafe made Riley a proposition. Riley is upset to learn that Rafe is tangled in a web of secrets and lies. The Dirty Souls are creating havoc with Rafe's clients and business. Murdering and butchering along the way. Their goal is to find Riley and destroy the trafficking rings. Can't wait for next installment Captivated Soul!! More about Riley and a new man? No!
Since Storm turned up at the Dirty Souls compound, his sister's (Riley) disappearance has been an ongoing investigation.
Stolen Soul is Riley's story. It takes place away from the Dirty Souls but we get hints along the way about the timeline of the other books.
After Riley is taken she is gifted to Raphael Vennetti by his brother.
Riley goes through A LOT! More than any one person should ever have to.
Rafe is the leader of the human trafficking ring and he has truly done some despicable things.
I felt a lot of emotions when it came to him. He made me angry and I hated him, but throughout there are these little bits of him that come through to show a bit of compassion and humanity.
I don't know how Emma got me to like this man at all?!
This whole series is amazing! Emma's writing is captivating.
The individual stories are full of suspense, spice and angst and the ongoing storyline interlacing them is complex and fascinating.
I won't ever stop recommending the Dirty Souls MC 🖤
This book was a little on the long side, but that was necessary to get the story in. It does have a cliffhanger ending. Part of the story runs concurrently with the last Dirty Souls book and spans a couple years. Riley is taken to be trafficked after living rough with her brother Liam for several years. She is then given to Rafe by his brother. Rafe intends to “train” her, but quickly realizes she is different to him and neither expects love from the situation. He is really good at separating home life and business. I was blown away at some of the people he ends up removing for betrayal, but he knows he has to be ruthless. I love how he is with Riley and then Gabriel—everything he ever wanted. Now the wait to see how it ends up playing out.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Spoilers….. This book gave my feelings whiplash. Not crazy about the cliffhanger but we’ve been told we won’t have to wait long. 🤞🏻Riley is easy to love. Rafe is easy to love & hate. I’m kind of hoping for some sort of redemption for him. (Although it’s hard to come back after what happened to Ricardo)

So this is Riley’s story she’s Storms sister and although this is book 8 in the Dirty Souls MC series it actually steps away from the MC, though they are mentioned several times.
If you’ve been reading these stories you will know that Riley was taken when she was 18 by a peadophile ring mistaking her for someone younger. She is kept and tormented by Adriano the leader until one day his brother Rafe appears. When Rafe sees her he knows he has to have her and she is gifted to him by Adriano.
Although Rafe detests what his brother does he also trades in skin (they are of legal age though) he has properties where women are sent to be “trained” then they are auctioned off. He realises straight away that there is something different about Riley and decides he needs to be the one to train her and brings her to his home. Riley and Rafe have a complicated relationship and although things start out with Rafe wanting to break Riley, he soon realises that he wants her to come to him willingly to be with him by her own choice (although he will never give her up!).
Seeing Riley and Rafe’s relationship develop and unfold is a thing of beauty. The way they both struggle to understand their feelings for each other and how they evolve whilst dealing with their own internal problems from the past and the present kept me glued to the pages. I love how invested I always feel in the characters that Emma brings to life!
Rafe wants to have a child with Riley and by this point she’s in love with him although I’m not sure she has realised that just yet she agrees.
Rafe brings out so many contradictory emotions, on the one hand you want to hate him, he deals in women is controlling and ruthless but when he’s with Riley these things just seem to fade into the background and you can’t help but fall for him.
Riley has know clue what Rafe’s main business is and like any dark secret it’s always going to come out. Riley is a strong woman she’s never had it easy but finding out the truth about the man she loves that takes a whole new level of strength!
I absolutely loved everything about this book from the intensity, the passion and spice, the warring emotions it evoked and even the cliffhanger at the end!
Yea this didn't work...at all. It's an actual wtf book - a zero, non-star rating! The plot just shows that the writer has no clue how to put her thoughts into writing, so disappointing.
What dafuk was that shit ending? This writer has the audacity to write this into a duet🤣
*****5 Stolen Stars***** This series is one of my favorite each book gets better and better. I have been waiting for Riley’s story and I did not see her story playing out the way it did so far. I’m so confused on how I should feel about Riley and Raphael this book is one hell of a ride. I haven’t like Raphael to much from the past books but in his and Riley’s story I got to see a side that made me believe that maybe he not that bad. But then there are parts of this book that make me remember why I didn’t like Raphael that much. My gosh Riley broke my heart in this book. Storm has been searching for his sister Riley ever since stolen by kidnapped by traffickers. God the cliffhanger on this book made me feel relieved for Riley but yet my heart shatter with her. Can Riley really love Raphael her captor/rescuer? Or is Riley and Raphael love a case of Stockholm Syndrome? I NEED THE NEXT BOOK!!! *****ARC from Book Sprout for review*****
I’ve been following along in the Dirty Souls MC series and this author has killed this series!! With Stolen Soul it deals more with Storm’s sister, Riley, and not so much the club but don’t let that stop you because this book was just as captivating as the previous books in this series.
This is a dark, intense, in your face book that had me question myself as to just what does it take to be a “good” guy. After Riley is stolen off the streets years ago she is now given to Raphael Veretti, the brother of her captor. Riley is still a strong woman and isn’t’ afraid to push back on Raphael which isn’t what’s normally expected.
These two are so intense that I just couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I highly recommend not only this book but the others in this series and with that cliffy I cannot wait to see what happens next.
This author never ceases to amaze me her stories are always a guaranteed ride but this one I am left speechless and up in all my feels this was a dark emotional and twisted ride and I can’t wait for the next book this author proves yet again why she will always be a automatic one click for me!
Totally love this book even though it deviates away from the souls compound. It all links together nicely though. Emma Creed has done it again book read in a day
Ooooh shit, this book! Stolen Soul is angsty and has this kind of suspense… Raphael is unpredictable and so it’s nerve wracking to try and figure him out. This is a tough one. I can’t decide if Rafe is a redeemable character or not! I cannot wait to see what happens next!! I definitely have something I’m hoping for…. We shall see!! If you’ve been reading the series, you know a little bit about Riley. This book is different in that it doesn’t really involve the Souls… yet. Wink. But it definitely has its place within this series. I would say this can be read as a standalone as well! Meaning, you don’t have to have read any other books in the series first, however it does have a cliffy- so there will be more!!
Stolen Soul from Emma Creed What a ride we go through watching Raphael and Riley. The emotions we go through will be a ringer. This story is captivating and you’ll love every bit of it.
