Frat Brats of Santa Barbara #5

The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe

Rate this book
Remember not to get drunk married to your best friend. It’s not rocket science.

Stefan

It was supposed to be a fun weekend trip with all my friends. The next thing I know, a splitting headache is waking me up on a plane to who knows where and there’s a ring on my finger.

What?!

Next to me is Marco, my best friend in the world, an old flame and… My husband? His ring matches mine and the marriage certificate in my handbag definitely has both our names on it.

This is ridiculous. We agreed, years ago, that our friendship was more important than fooling around. We can’t go down that road again, even if he’s the only guy I ever wanted. Funny, smart, drop-dead gorgeous, Marco is off-limits. He deserves better.

But a string of terrible coincidences will turn our romantic honeymoon into a catastrophe that will either bring us together or break us forever.

Marco

I’ve been in love with my hot best friend since the day I met him. To find myself somehow married to him should make me way happier than it does. Yet it can’t; it was just a silly dare.

Our friends offered to send us on a crazy adventure. All we had to do was get married.

But no matter how much I want Stefan to be with me, he’s got other ideas. He says we’re incompatible; he wants us to be best friends forever; he wants a divorce.

And me? I’ve never even learned how to stand up for myself, let alone change somebody’s mind. Least of all a mind as stubborn as Stefan’s.

We’re stuck together for two weeks of honeymooning in the most romantic resort on this side of the world. If that doesn’t make him fall in love with me, my last hope will die.

Maybe this marriage is, and always has been, a total joke.

The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe is the fifth novel in the Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series. While it can be read on its own, it’s just more fun to read them in order. Dive into a world of pining, steamy accidents, and two best friends who are perfect for each other, but refuse to see it.

One time in Language Arts class, we had to write an essay about a memory that related to our cultural heritage (you know the kind). My friend wrote his about Dim Sum, and how him eating it with his family was a cherished memory, which is a perfectly fine thing to write a paper about! Only… because he was trying to be more descriptive in his writing, he ended up making his essay sound eerily like he was sexually attracted to the food. I believe the phrase, “the steamy aroma of the balls wafted into my nose,” were said a couple of times (he was talking about hum bao). What does this have to do with The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe? Well, I’d say that essay was about as erotic as the sex scenes in this book.

The long-drawn-out descriptions that the two main characters both had for each other made me a little uncomfortable. The second guy, Marco, always mentions the fact that Stefan doesn’t have perfectly straight teeth and that these “imperfections” only help to make him more perfect. Doesn’t that sound like a back-handed compliment? Also, having crooked teeth is not an imperfection, it’s actually perfectly normal. There are also endless descriptions of how hot each character is, to the point where it’s like the department of redundancy department. We get it, they’re hot, WE GET IT!!

A lot of “bachelor party” clichés here, and really, it’s to the point where none of it felt like a “catastrophe” because of how routine the whole thing was. If anything, this is like The Hangover movie series, which is a series of movies that I do not like. You could probably just read the blurb and close your eyes and imagine what would happen in this book and get about the same amount of enjoyment. Will I accidentally pick this series back up sometime in the future? Yeah probably, mostly because:

• I have a bad habit of not checking who the author is before starting a book.
• I have also been known to be tricked by a cover.

Sorry it I sound too negative; I really don’t want to rate this lower because I actually thought the love story was cute and often even sweet. Besides, it’s a perfectly fine story that I’m sure a lot of people will like. So, three stars to this one… and I guess also three stars to my friends’ accidental Dim Sum erotica catastrophe.

4.25 stars - Stefan and Marco, finally! The way these two kept teasing us from the periphery of the other books - always together, sitting a little too close, silently speaking with knowing looks, claiming nothing more than friendship even though nobody was buying it. I was so excited for their book and am happy to report that it was worth the wait. The Wrong Twin Dilemma has officially lost the top spot as my favorite of this series.

As with the other books in this series, there was a fairytale feeling of grandeur that could have easily crossed the line into OTT-land had the characters been written differently. These stories don't take place within middle-class American limitations. I would probably be critical of that in other books, but there was a "anything is possible with the right amount of cash" precedent set in the first book that gave me the freedom to roll with things rather than overanalyze and tear them apart. This book was like Love Island or The Bachelor in that two people were put in a setting that not only catered to romance, but enhanced it. The difference was that Stefan and Marco were best friends with occasional benefits, not total strangers. Their relationship already teetered at the edge of "more", so drunken vows and a trip to paradise were bound to push them over.

I was smitten with both Stefan and Marco. Their friendship was supportive and beautiful and fun and it was obvious to everyone that there was more between them than they were allowing themselves to see. I never found this obliviousness annoying, though. They valued their friendship and feared anything that threatened it, especially love. Swatting sneaky feelings away kept their bond safe. But it didn't stop the pining. Or the UST even though they were having sex (which was really, really hot). Or the kissing. The petting. The subtle glances. The all out staring when the other person wasn't looking. They were so into each other and I forced my eyes to stay open way too long last night so I could see them figure it out.

I loved the epilogue so much. It was a perfect ending/beginning to Marco and Stefan's story and gave me just enough information to make me curious about the next book in this series. Surely it's Dayton's turn to fall in love.

*I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.

"That was, I was sure, the reason why we did this sort of thing. Simply because we could. He was the guy I trusted the most in this world and helping each other feel so warm and fuzzy was just another aspect of our friendship."

The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe by Hayden Hall is book 5 in the author's Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series. They are all easy read, low angst and medium steam, revolving around a group of friends at an exclusive male only college

This is such a fun, friends to lovers read, with a dash of ooops we got married in Vegas thrown in, and of course, with the required HEA.

To be fair, every single book in this series is based on some batshit crazy idea. Some work better than others. This one, not so much. I love friends-to-lovers, especially when everyone but themselves know they're already in love but they're just to stubborn to realize and need a little push from their friends. But a drunk Vegas wedding and followed by a honeymoon on a love island... Well it's as convoluted as it sounds and worst of all it drags on and on. I'm already not a fan of chamber plays and it's basically just the two of them on their honeymoon either fucking or pondering. It gets better towards the end. Basically the book is one third crazy, one third boring and one third heartfelt. And I love the cover. Hot shirtless guy with suspenders is a sight to behold.

You always were mine. Now it's real.

Sometimes things are good. Sometimes not so good. Sometimes friends pull pranks. Sometimes other things. But when you finally really that your best buddies and family all want what is best for you, it is time toe give some of what is best back to them, especially that most special buddy that sometimes pulls at your heart and caresses you tickle spots, stealing your breath with kisses, and sometimes just hanging on to everything like you are the most important something that he has ever hung on to forever.

Overall Opinion
This series so far has been so fun and enjoyable, and this book continued to show this the whole way through! Coming off the high that The Bitter Rivals Fiasco gave me, I knew I couldn't wait for Stefan and Marco's love story! The lead-up to their story over the previous 5 books had me pining for their romance. These two are SO clueless when it comes to their feelings for one another that it would be funny if it wasn't so heartbreaking. There is an abundance of insecurities, fear of ruining an amazing friendship, and a hatred for falling in love, and Hayden works with these perfectly. The hurting and pining for one another is almost painful to witness-you really feel what they feel-and hoping they overcome their situation is so prevalent from the beginning, you just can't help feeling over the moon when they come to their senses! Overall this is a great love story between two best friends who can't see past their noses, and I look forward to the next read in the series!

This is a fun read, Stefan and Marco are best friends… with benefits. They are very different in personality but get along great. I loved the set up in the first chapters, it really grabbed my interest and created plenty of fun tension. These two bring baggage into their friendship that prevents them from realizing they act like a couple. While there is humor and lots of fun with the fake Vegas wedding, I loved how the author weaves in some real emotion. These two both believe they aren’t cut out for committed relationships. Stefan is a casualty of his parent’s bitter divorce and has sworn off commitment. Marco believes he got lucky once finding loving parents at 12 years old, it could not happen again. It was really easy to root for these two to wake up and see what was very obvious to their friends - they are perfect for each other. Fun story, complicated and likable MCs, and a fun cast of side characters to keep it interesting. I enjoyed it a lot!

The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe is a fun, quick read.
Stefan and Marco are best friends and are still in college. They both come from rich backgrounds and are with friends in Las Vegas partying.
Due to a dare, they get married and wake up on a plane on their way to a honeymoon resort.
Marco has always harbored feelings for Stefan, but it seems that they are not shared.
Can they survive the romantic honeymoon with their friendship intact?

I liked the pacing of this book and the story was hilarious. Some times I thought, that the characters are a little dense with their emotional intelligence, and that frustrated me a little bit.
But this is a perfect book for a fun and quick read!

Those of us who’ve been waiting for Marco and Stefan’s story are rejoicing. We open with a still-drunk Stefan waking up on a plane with no real memory of why they’re on a plane, where they’re going and why he and Marco are wearing rings. The last thing they remember is drinking in Vegas. In addition to the heart punches of pain for our boys and the desire to shake them until they realize that their happily ever afters, their new beginnings, the true love they don’t believe exists – is right in front of them – and has been for years.

Stefan watched his parents’ marriage implode and uses their hatred toward one another as a reminder of the rotted, diseased corpse relationships become. It keeps him from getting into relationships and having romantic feelings deeper than surface level.
Marco just wants to be loved. He loves Stefan, but after his rough childhood, he doesn’t want to rock the boat. He would rather know that he is IN love with Stefan and do nothing about it than possibly risk their friendship to find his happiness. He can’t possibly find familial love with his adoptive parents AND romantic love with his best friend, so he wants to forget this entire marriage thing and have his best friend back.

When the truth about their marriage comes to light, does Stefan fight for Marco? Will he realize that his FWB relationship is the real deal and not the arrangement they’d decided on? Can Marco put himself out there and ask Stefan to love him as he loves Stefan, or will he keep it to himself and go through with an annulment? Can these two love-damaged friends surrender to the emotions their hearts have been beating or will this catastrophe end the most important relationship they both need?

After toying with us for 5 books, Hayden Hall finally wakes these clueless brats up to the fact that we’ve all known for each of their friends’ books – they are already married. They’ve been together for years. They’re already the best relationship they never thought they’d have. And it was beautiful to read.

I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy and, as always, my review is unpaid and honest.

On the surface this is a classic oops we got married in Vegas tale. But it does have a slightly different spin. The Vegas theme drew me to the book. I wanted fun and frolics and we got that to some extent but it was quite emotional too.
I had not read any of the other books in this series so this can definitely be read as a standalone. I liked all the characters. I definitely felt how close they all were as a group and enjoyed the banter between them. The two main characters were great and I could feel the chemistry between them. The author really wrote their relationship with care and it felt like the author was fully invested in their well-being too and loved the characters.
It was a fun mostly upbeat story with a HEA that was helped along by some meddling friends. An enjoyable read that you don’t have to think too much about.
I will be reading more in this series

DNF at 30%. 14th April, 2025.

i spoke too soon. This seemed like it had everything. Codependent best friends who are also FWBs. An ott marriage too.
BUT... They didn't consummate the marriage, however fake it was. 💀 Just hand & head. Which means it's one of those books which on principle delay sex (intercourse) until way later, unreasonably (it's around 80% mark for this one).

i don't like books like this at all. And even though the vibe was just right, i simply can't deal with the not consummating part, especially since they were devouring each other and have mentioned they had previously went all the way sometime in the past. Why mention that if they won't do anything at this most important juncture? 🙄

What happens in Vegas……. Marco and Stefan have been a mystery throughout this whole series so far and now their book is out and it’s so dang good!! Their back story on how they are what they are is cute. To have all the boys with them in Vegas was great, even Josh on the iPad the whole time lol!! The banter is hilarious and the smut is off the charts as usual!!! I love these two. I think they may be my favorite out the bunch!! I’m looking forward to Daytons book when it’s released!! I’m wondering if it’s Justin’s brother he ends up with?!?!? Hayden has definitely moved into my top favorite authors list!!!

This cover has been my favourite in the series. I really enjoyed The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe! Stefan and Marco are the couple I really needed the story of and this best-friends-lovers romance had many strengths. I really enjoyed it but couldn't help being extremely frustrated with how ignorant the two of them are with their feelings.

“I closed my eyes a moment before I heard Stefan turn his head to face me. He had no way of knowing that I had just spent a solid five minutes taking in his beauty. And I still needed more. A lifetime wouldn’t suffice. No matter how many times we were reborn and spent our lives together, I would always die needing a moment longer.”

I am a sucker for best friends to lovers tropes, with a hint of unrequited real love thrown into the mix. And Marco and Stefan were the perfect pair. Told in dual POV, The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe is a light-hearted read that made me laugh and smile, tug at my heart strings and fan myself at all their cute but sexy moments.

Marco and Stefan had a perfectly good thing going. Being best friends who like to fool around with each other, whilst haplessly denying their growing attraction for each other. And when on a drunken whim at the behest of your friends, the two of them get married in Vegas and jet off to a honeymoon, it sets the ultimate stage to examine their genuine feelings for each other.

I won't deny it - I enjoyed reading this. This was a sweet quick read, full of humor and a lot of feels. I knew in my heart that they would get a happy ending and everything would work out for them, so it's nothing that I would complain about. And yes, I'll also admit, that cover really caught my eye! 😊😊

It's always a challenge reading a book in the middle of a series - especially when characters are mentioned who are already pretty much paired off together. But, on that Vegas trip, I wasn't very much annoyed by it; rather, it's piqued my interest and when I have some time to spare, I'll definitely give the other frat brats of Santa Barbara a chance. 👍👍

These two are idiots. I mean, honestly. They've been basically in a relationship and completely in love for six years. It takes a "fake" marriage in Vegas and a real honeymoon in paradise for them to realize it. Oh, and a third-act-break-up (is it a break up if they're still not together-together by the third act?). Too much alcohol, a newlyweds-style board game, hot tub fun, and a Fuckboy confrontation later and they finally figured it out. Too bad there wasn't any Told-You-So scene.

I love this series! I fell in love with these "Fuckboys" who are really nice young men just trying to navigate college life with real life and loves. In this instalment we finally learn the story behind Stefan and Marco's friendship (and more).

Stefan's parents are not great role models of a relationship/marriage, in fact, theirs is the reason why Stefan has sworn off relationships and ultimately, marriage.

Marco grew up in foster care, he never thought he would still get adopted because of his age but his luck must have changed because two lovely human beings decided to make him theirs. He never wanted for anything after that, he was given the best things possible, and the best schools.

Stefan was his first friend, and now his best friend, among other things. They have been friends for six years now. Among their group of friends, they are the closest to each other. So much so that their friends have always thought of them as a couple.

Things went sideways (in a very good way in the end) when all of their group went to Vegas for some fun. There they met a couple who were getting married and they got invited to the ceremony. Dayton, their friend, decided to sponsor Stefan and Marco's wedding and a one-week honeymoon treat to a honeymoon island in the Dominican Republic.

I think it was fate that made them agree to that wedding because it forced them to look at their relationship in a different way. It forced them to evaluate how they truly felt for each other all through these years. Unbeknownst to them, they have been in a relationship all this time.

So lovely. I love it! I love all these boys. And I love that in all the most important events in their lives, they are all there for each other.

Best friends and some-times intimate partners Marco Lancaster and Stefan Ortega find themselves married after accepting an inebriated dare from their group of friends during a vacation in Las Vegas. Spending their honeymoon together in the tropical paradise of the Dominican Republic, each of the two friends get the chance to really learn what makes the other tick deep down emotionally. Not wishing to destroy their close friendship, Stefan and Marco have up to now only kept their amorous relations to the minimal physical type, in the off chance that either should actually get attached to the other in a more deeply romantic way and ruin the good things that they have in their present friends-with-benefits relationship. But now, given their matrimonial state and how relaxing in paradise brings out the romance in every budding relationship, is it already too late for the two to go back to being 'just friends'?

The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe is a fabulous book!! I especially enjoyed the interaction between Stefan and Marco. The two, it seems, do have very strong feelings toward each other, but are still afraid that taking their relationship further would invariably destroy their friendship. The character development in this book is one of it's best points, in my opinion. The reader can't help but to fall in love with Marco and Stefan as they work their way through their relationship hang-ups. The plot of this novel is fun, entertaining and very romantic! The book is also written in such a way that the reader can almost imagine the beautiful sights and exhilarating activities that Marco and Stefan are seeing and experiencing. It made the book even more endearing to me!

A very well-written and enjoyable book! 5 stars!

The only reason that I'm writing these thoughts is to get over my own frustrations over this story. The only reason I read this book was because I started it and it was short enough to finish in a few hours.
What follows is not a review, just thoughts as I read.

May I say something, please? First of all no judgement here, I'm being real. And I'm someone who literally cannot drink. I can't understand the whole 'I'll do anything for free drinks" and drink night after drink night, hangover after hangover. So when I read stuff like this I just have to go with it.

*Based on what I'm reading so far,(40%) it's just not to my liking.
I can't understand they not knowing what and how feelings work.
they just look dumb to me, especially after all that passion.

* I get it. I get their hang ups about commitment. As I said, I'm going with the flow, but it's not believable...or enjoyable that they not see what's in front of them.

*Slow burn just makes all this worse....I just hate that they don't speak up.

"I sat down, right next to my best friend, our shoulders touching."
..thought no one who ever did what Marcus just did to Stefan in that hot(bubble) tub... This is what I mean, they are coming out sounding like idiots and as a reader, I just can't buy it.

And this right here proves my point...
"Everyone had always been right except us. Two dummies wandering through life, holding each other’s hands, holding onto each other, never realizing we’d been a couple all along."

I've always had a soft spot for best friends to lovers romances, and even though Marco and Stefan were a total train wreck at first, they still won me over. Their story was full of drunken shenanigans, steamy nights, and vacation relaxation, but buried beneath that was a storm of unresolved feelings that made me desperate for clarity. Marco and Stefan seemed so perfectly in tune with one another, and yet I was really unsure if their friendship would survive a romantic honeymoon getaway. Stefan had so much emotional trauma wrapped around the concept of marriage, and Marco didn't believe he deserved to be "impossibly lucky" enough to spend his life with the person he trusted above all else. It was bittersweet to watch the two of them get absorbed in a honeymoon bubble when I knew they couldn't avoid the real world forever, but I still wished for more. Their story fell into the trap of spending so much time on the honeymoon phase and barely any time exploring what happened after, but I was content enough with the resolution to their relationship. Stefan and Marco made me believe they were willing to fight to stay together, and even if I didn't get to see much of it in action, I'm happy everything turned out okay.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Firstly let me say I got this book of gay romance reviews and this is me leaving my honest review.
Wow how can these two men be in this much denial? I think the title is a bit misleading it wasn’t an accidental honeymoon. Yes These 2 were drunk but they agreed to get married so they could go on a honeymoon of a lifetime. Stefan has trauma from being in foster care but thankfully being adopted by a amazing couple but still has little blips now and again. And Marco has got two parents who should never Of got married. Wow they make their sons life miserable by trying to better each other.
But thankfully Stefan and Marco have each other. They’ve got a really good group of friends who are sometimes the worst influence. But watching these to grow on their honeymoon is just delightful. The passion they share is out of this world. It’s like they can talk to each other without even saying the words. Yet again more people just assume they’re a couple by spending time with them. Due to their history they have always been friends to hook up rather than putting labels on things But they just don’t want to admit what they’re feeling for one another. It was so hard to read cause you just wanna knock their heads together. I didn’t see the shock at the end but boy was I cheering them on. A really good read thoroughly enjoyed this book

Finally, the 'are they or aren't they' couple get their story

I've been waiting for Stefan and Marco's story since the beginning of this series. The truth behind their friendship exercises even their closest friends and we finally learn their history.
Marco's childhood has taken a toll on him but he now has loving parents and his best friend in his corner and he doesn't want to change anything, nor take anything for granted.
Stefan's childhood was not good for totally different reasons and it shaped his attitude towards love and relationships, but he has his best friend and that's all he really needs.
Watching them interact in front of their friends and seeing them behind closed doors, it was glaringly obvious to characters and readers alike that they were a perfect couple, completely matched and totally happy even though they didn't realise it.
I loved the affection between them, the almost telepathic connection, the heat and love. The other couples have all captured my imagination, with Hudson and Tate being my favourite so far, and Stefan and Marco have maybe caught them up. The epilogue was so sweet, absolutely perfect for them, and I'm looking forward to whoever is up next.

I enjoyed reading this but it didn't pull me in as the others in this series did, and I think I know why.

Stefan and Marco are essentially already a married couple, have been for some time, so I found little development between them. They know each other inside and out. They are as comfortable with each other as boyfriends are. They are also already sleeping with each other, so there's little fighting the attraction or exploring sex together.
For this story, the only thing different was a fake marriage, which led to some thinking and realizing things neither of them wanted to say out loud but they both sort of knew what the other didn't say.

It's sweet, it's steamy, it's low-angst, and despite what I just said the main characters do have an arc. I just didn't feel enough.
Now, bear in mind that friends-to-lovers isn't my favorite trope around. If you like that trope, I think you'll like The Accidental Honeymoon Catastrophe. It's a very easy read. Maybe a bit too easy for me.

A good choice if you want a low-angst, friends-to-lovers romance. And, as usual, very well written. Hayden Hall knows how to write romance.

“What eyes can’t see, heart won’t miss”

Stefan, detests marriage and relationships after living through his mom's and dad's marriage. They finally divorced when Stefan was around the age of 11. He blamed himself since they had stayed together, as long as they did, for him.

Marco was adopted from an orphanage, at the age of 12, after years in the foster system. His parents were wealthy and gave him the love and security he never had before. Marco is very insecure and is always waiting for something to happen that will take it all away.

The book blurb doesn't quite reflect the exact details of the book, the honeymoon was only a week, not 2 weeks and there's a comment about them being old flames, which to me implies a prior relationship not just friendship.

I enjoyed this book very much. This was the first book in the series I've read. Since this is book 5, I'm sure I'm missing lots of backstory on the supporting characters.

These two guys took the long way around, to get their HEA.

Friends to lovers, friends with benefits, lots of hot sexy times, angst level was low.

I have been waiting for Stefan and Marco's story since I read book 1 of this series and their book did not disappoint. I have read all of Mr. Hall's books and this is by far the sweetest, absolute super low-angst book he has written to date. Coming off the intensity of Hudson and Tate's book (which is my favorite!!!), it was refreshing to read a book the exact opposite of theirs. While their friends gave them the push they needed to finally be that couple that they essentially unknowingly already were, I really enjoyed reading the events leading up to how they sealed the deal and actually gave in to the feelings they completely already had. The Friends to Lovers trope is not my favorite because the conflict is low or non-existent, but Hayden breathed new life into a trope that I usually skip over. It was refreshing to read something out of my comfort zone and this one did not let me down. If you want just a feel good read and something to make your heart just consistently explode with happiness and butterflies, this is absolutely the book for you. 4.75/5 stars!

I'm so happy Stefan and Marco finally got their HEA!

I have been waiting for Stefan and Marco's story since we met them as side characters and their book didn't disappoint. There was so much more depth to their story than just two roommates who occasionally hooked up.

Stefan was disill0usioned with the idea of love after watching his parents go through a bitter divorce and didn't believe in marriage or lasting love. Marco had a rough childhood and was finally adopted at the age of 12 by a wonderful couple and didn't believe he was worthy of love after spending time in numerous foster homes.

Their friend, Dayton was the true hero of this story in my opinion. By incentivizing Stefan and Marco to get drunk married in Vegas, he forced them to get out of their rut and look at their relationship in a new light. The ending gave me all the feels and I am hoping Dayton's story is up next!

What a wonderful book to read! I enjoyed it very much especially the ending! What an endearing ending!!! Love the MCs!!!! Thank you Hayden Hall for writing an awesome story! Would make for an awesome TV/movie!!!!

The story focuses on Stefan and Marco who has been BEST Friends since the day Marco walked into the classroom at a high school and Stefan waved him to an empty seat next to him. They went to Las Vegas with their gang for some fun before college started. Out of fun, with their friends encouraging them, they decided to get married although they were VERY drunk! They woke up on a plane on the way to Dominican Republic for their “honeymoon”. Keep in mind, Stefan was against marriage because of the drama between his parents which was his trauma. When they woke up, they found the marriage certificate that they were married to each other!!! That’s where I’m going to stop and have you read the book to find out what happens next! Definitely a 5 stars read!

I am so happy to get to read Stefan and Marco’s story. This is so different that the others in this series. It is almost more light hearted, full of college fun. These two have been being friends while unknowingly being in a relationship. Their friends all see it but these two just consider them friends with benefits. The problem is enough time has passed and it has turned into more they just don’t realize it. Then the Vegas trip and their world changes. I love all the playfulness between them and their friends. This author has a way of making me feel I can picture the events and characters. I like all the characters so no really bad guys here. I enjoyed the backgrounds of these two and how different they are. I really appreciated the way the author somewhat resolved the standoff of Stefan’s parents. I have to say I still anxious for Dayton’s story.
