What is there to know about me? Not much. I was bred, born, and raised in New York and I have no desire to live anywhere else. One day, I would like to travel to a few places, but for now I am content where I am. I started out writing poetry in junior high and continued to do so for ten years. I wrote short stories, usually fantasy and romance stories, for my own entertainment throughout high school and college. Back then, I wrote strictly for me and those stories remain locked in the back of my closet in little notebooks, written in my almost unreadable, tiny handwriting. In between writing those stories and poetry, I managed to get a college degree in history. After graduating college, I had a semester off before graduate school and I didn't really have anything to do with my time. So, I took a chance and wrote a fan-fic and dared to upload it to the Internet. I was surprised that other people enjoyed my work and I've been posting ever since. I had quite a bit of fun with fan fiction and eventually decided to try my hand in original fiction. I suppose it was sort of like coming back around to what I had been doing in high school and college, except this time the stories were for whoever wanted to read them. I uploaded my first original story a few years ago and haven’t looked back. I plan to continue writing as long as I continue getting ideas for stories and it continues to be fun.
I enjoyed the book description better than the book itself. It didn't read like other supernatural stories that I'm used to... not to say that it's a bad book, it just isn't the book for me.
Fair warning, the beginning of the book is a bit in your face with the sexual details. But I guess that is to be expected with Citlali running a sex club. Get past that part though, and what we have here is a wonderful story of two woman finding each other, falling in love, and working out how each other works. And protecting each other, because that is a part of the story as well. This is a supernatural story, but not quite your usual shifter tale. Some elements are here, others are not, and it is a fresh take that I very much enjoyed.
Tala is also not your normal pack member either. She is an introvert, she likes and needs her alone time, and she has difficulties interacting with others. But this makes for a great and relatable character, one with aspects that need to be worked with and understood, and she is very well written. She cares about those important to her, and she learns what all that can mean.
This is a great supernatural story, a great romance story (as long as part of the setting doesn't bother you), and really, Citlali and Tala make a great couple. This was a highly enjoyable read that I found myself drawn into, and definitely one that deserves to be read.
This tale was a fun sexy and intense romp! I loved it and stayed up half the night to finish it! I loved the extrovert and introvert characters learning about each other and finding their way! This also explored families/packs and how we all relate and move about one another! Highly recommended!!!!!
My first time reading a book from this author. It won't be the last. I related with Tala 100%. I get drained from being around people too and I'm just as introverted as she is. I can only hope to find a girl like Citlali. Great book!
A good shifter book, and an approach to a sex club rarely seen in the US. Enjoyed the ease of speaking about sexuality, bodies, sex- refreshing writing. It doesn't read like a fanfiction set to chapter pages and a bit young for me, but overall a fun read.
Not your average werewolf story. The book revolves around how to love someone with extreme anxiety issues. If you know someone that suffers from it it might explain a few things. The love story is between a pharmacy student and a woman that manages a sex club. There wasn't any porn or crude scenes in the book. In fact i think it had one sex scene.
