Enjoying the series so far. Part of me is wondering how big Bridgettes arm is and that perhaps I’ve envisioned her tattoo on the wrong scale seeing as she’s got space for so many words inside a ring? Lol. Either way. In one of my other reviews for a previous book in the series, I mentioned that Bridgette needed a holiday. This is not what I meant ! 😂 lol. Roll on the next book!
I've read the first four books in this series and thoroughly enjoyed them. By the fourth one it was getting a little predictable but just a chapter or two in on this one you could see everything that was going to unfold. I found myself saying out loud of course that's what happened. Because of what the bad guy and the good guy did you could see the whole thing play out. I tried to struggle through and got halfway through but was just so disappointed.
If authors are going to do a series of books they need to not just crank them out, they should be developing the characters better in each book so that we feel like we know them and we get a broader look than what we already know about them. Same with a bad guys, when one carries over from the book before in this book is just same old same old.
Another absolutely fantastic book. The characters are so believable that you are there with them. You feel the terror in the chase as the detective is hunted down.Fabulous.
I love this book! Love the grit and determination of Bridgette. She has had a rough life but is such a good caring person. I want more ! I read five books in two and a half days! Come on Trevor Douglas don't stop now.
Stop at book 4. This book should not have been written. Trevor Douglas should have made book 4 150 pages longer and and put in the ending he did in book 5. Book 5 is a waist of time period.
Bridgett Cash as a new detective appears to have to fight for her life with every new case she gets. Just when she feels she has a chance to relax an old case comes back to haunt her.
I could not put this book down, I was hooked from the beginning. It's well written and well excited. I hope Brigette and Levi get together, I'll have to in the last book.
