This book provides a slower pace than the two previous, but spans a longer time and gets more into family life as Elly and Zane try to maintain their happily ever after and deal with challenges no other couple has before. The ending packs a serious emotional punch that wraps the trilogy in a very satisfying way. I look forward to reading more from McLeod, as she has an immersive world to explore!

Absolutely adore this read. It made me cry, it made me laugh. It made me so mad that I failed insight checks while reading. So many emotions are in this book and I love them all. It's hard to pull one over my eyes and I love a big reveal. This is a great ending to the story but... I WANT MORE!!! Soon TM

This had everything. I laughed. I cried. I stayed up late to read and read it in places I shouldn't have. I loved this book and it was the perfect ending for Elly and Zane's story. The page at the end that says they will return leaves me with some questions like what could be next, but I'm willing to wait to find out. New fav series and author. As devourable as Jaymin Eve for me.

Man this was the perfect ending to this trilogy. Zane and Ellyria have a wonderful story. I love how the books were written and I honestly cannot wait to put hard copies on my shelf. Definitely recommend having some tissues handy for this ending though!!

November 1, 2021This is the third of the Veil series. Each story, although unique, threads through the series. This young writer is talented and keeps your attention. I highly recommend following her bright future and upcoming tales.
