Ever since I was little, I’d been in love with Travis. That wasn’t a secret. But for Travis, his love for the Club would always outshine anything. A girl could only take so much rejection. And there came a point when it was time to move on. Some might call it running, but I called it finding my own way. So what if that meant crossing a few state lines? But when some unexpected information shatters my world, I realized that I needed answers, and the only way to get them was to go back home. Unfortunately for me, time didn’t heal a broken heart. Facing Travis again threatened to break down the walls I’d built up. The trouble was, this time he wasn’t trying to push me away. And it was so hard not to give in.
Eve R. Hart has a habit of weaving stories laced thick with romance. They often bounce between awkward humor and dark themes- sometimes making a scary combination of the two. It doesn’t matter how it comes, she just wants love to win at the end of the day.
Eve lives on the coast of North Carolina with their partner in chaos, three beautifully nerdy kids, and a ridiculously sweet dog. When they need a break, you’ll find Eve lost in a book, playing board games with her family, or whipping up something crazy in the kitchen.
I so so so enjoyed this book! Even though I wanted to strangle Sparrow in parts she redeems herself for sure.
I enjoyed the story past the romance with the suspense of what is going on with the club. I thought that gave more to the story and really made me crave the next book.
I’m such a lover of next gen books and Flight Risk did great justice to them for me!
One sitting. I devoured this book in one sitting. I adored Travis and Sparrow. Though her name 1000% suits her..... both of them.
To be fair. I think lots of Sparrows actions, would be on par with myself. Id say theres a huge possibility that I would act quite similarily to her. She tried to take time to deal with things.... making her a flight risk. However she definately made Sidekick work to get back into the good books and he definately earned being in the doghouse.
Sparrow is a phenomenon; a woman who ran from the club life to protect her heart, but came back stronger, so much stronger.
Travis had loved Sparrow all his life, but made a mistake that cost them all, including the club, dearly. Only when disturbing news brings her home does the couple try to put right what he broke.
If you're looking for a "me man, you woman" book, then you won't find it here. What you will find is a book where she fights the system and wins, all with the man, and the club that she loves, by her side.
Travis behaves in the typical young man fashion - I care about you too much to be with you - and as a result, Sparrow goes running.
But! When it's time for her to come home, boy oh boy, does she make him work for it.
I absolutely adored Sparrow and her journey of self-discovery. She was such a wonderfully strong character and I was so happy with how this book turned out.
Get yourself some Steel Paragons Next Generations! You will not be disappointed.
I've been waiting patiently for Sparrow's book and she does not disappoint. Hell hath no Fury like a woman scorned. She's had enough of unrequited love that isn't as unrequited as Travis has led her to believe. She took off so she wouldn't be reminded of what she couldn't have. When something rocks her world and brings her home, she has to face everything she ran from. Sparks fly between her and Travis but Sparrow being Sparrow is not gonna forgive or trust so easy. This book was everything I thought it would be & more. It was off the charts hot and my new favorite of the series.
Sparrow and Travis are an interesting couple. They took me on quite the bumpy ride to their happily ever after. These two put me through the emotional wringer. I enjoyed this story. Sparrow is a warrior who marches to her own drums. Travis is an alpha male who learns to be the perfect partner to Sparrow. I found myself entertained and completely immersed in this story.
I received this book from the author as gift and this is my honest opinion Love love love this author I’ve read every book of the OG steel paragon’s! MC is my favourite genre and to get next Gen of a favourite is just the best I feel like I saw these kids and their parents grow up and fall in love 🥰 Cannot recommend this author and her books more Sparrow was a badass heroine and only Travis could keep up She’s a trailblazer Five massive stars every time 📖💜
I loved that she wasn't a damsel. Flight Risk, (Row), Little Bird, wasn't someone to be tamed. She wanted to make her own way, wanted to live a life she loved. Row felt hurt from one person she liked and left her home to find herself.
When she returns, she wants to earn her spot in the MC. Yes her dad, uncle, brother was apart of it - so she grew up in the world, but she wanted to earn her spot at the table.
Travis loves her, but was afraid how their relationship could jeopardize his "family". The MC was all he had. Even though Row left, he never forced her to return. He never tried to change her. He accepted her and her wild streak. He watched her grow and earn her space. He doesn't push her to be a "cutesy" girl, he loves her rough edges. Honestly the two of them are sweet AF together and match really well.
If you wanted a story with a stronger FMC this is a good one to pick up.
This is a biker club story and if you are into that it might be a good one . I stopped reading at 37%. Because I am not into biker club stories and anything about motorcycles
