They really are perfect for each other with zero bullshit between them.

Oliver Rains joined Pegasus after the military to keep doing what he loves—helping out the innocent and putting scumbags in the ground where they belong. He was supposed to find a new team, not fall in love, but what he hadn’t counted on was former chief of police Parker Johnson walking into his life. The sexy man is everything he’s wanted for a long time.

Parker Johnson took early retirement from the police force after an altercation with the mayor. It wasn’t his fault the guy was a jackass. He landed a job with the elite unit of operatives known as Pegasus and it’s there he meets Oliver Rains. The ex-Special Forces soldier is the one he’s been searching for, but he’s never mixed his love life and his work before.

When Pegasus is asked to assist with taking down a sex trafficking ring, the unit jumps at the chance to help.

Then someone comes after Oliver. And Parker will do whatever it takes to keep him safe.
Get ready as Pegasus roars into action and delivers a beatdown to the bad guys.

Another slump unfortunately

After thoroughly enjoying the previous book, I had high hopes for Oliver and Parker's story.

Sadly, we're back to throwing in a bajillion new people for future stories, pulling a whole load of story threads that just are hanging in the wind and having the action happening off page in the main.

One thing saving this was the relationship between the two men, which might be fast but is also super sweet and does involve some good communication.

The stalker plot was out of left field and really didn't have enough time given to let it actually develop, so it was a bit meh in the end for me.

I loved this book it was such a big difference to the miscommunication they communicated so well it was totally that insta love thing with both having there own set of insecurities as usual it was action packed but the chemistry wad of the charts! So excited for ace & jacobs book hopefully ace does the right thing! But also does hunter finally have a love interest? Oh and are we getting a thropple ? Sooo excited for the series to continue

This was maybe the softest and most relaxing book of all the series. It was such a nice change to have a couple that actually communicated instead of having the whole typical romance novel misunderstanding. Love it. So excited for the next book and *very* curious about Seven and Fisher.

Oliver and Parker's story. Please read every book in this series in order. You definitely have to.

Oliver and Parker have been circling each other for weeks and you can feel the chemistry between them as soon as they met. That was in the books prior, which is why I say you have to read every book in the series in order.

This was adorable! I love how even though Oliver was a tad on the annoying side (too much of a jokester), the book wasn't the annoying type of enemies to lovers. Yes they circled each other and had banter but it was cute banter.

I truly enjoyed this book and I can definitely say that all of the books in this series keep getting better.

I'm always happy to read anything by Reese Knightley and catch up with my favourite government-funded vigilantes, but the Operation Justice Force series has been a little too boring and kind of simple to my taste. I liked Oliver and Parker together, but I was disappointed we didn't actually get to see the very beginning of their relationship - they were already kissing in the cleaning closet at the police station in the first chapter.

The mystery/crime/action parts of Honor were the real let down. There are three things going on:

1. Oliver's stalker: what was the point of this? And Parker's comment about Oliver's looks being stalker-worthy was extra-creepy and weird, wtf. The whole debacle was dealt with a bullet to the stalker's head. Even Oliver himself questions this.

2. Oliver and Parker are asked to help a small grocery store deal with three teenage robbers/blackmailers. Again, this storyline feels unnecessary and the solution is even more boring: they end up staking out the store and end up catching the criminals literally the next morning after talking to the owner. The poor store grandpa had to go through all that simply to give Pegasus a way too convenient opportunity to catch the human trafficking ring leader guy at the chinese restaurant next door.

3. Yes, I felt weird for writing down the phrase "human trafficking ring leader guy" as the subject matter being as serious as one can be, but that's how the human trafficking plotline felt to me. This bad guy is said to have been the man of the year (of LA? the world? I don't know), but once again, they end up raiding a mansion, saving three kids and that was that, let's get back to Oliver and Parker's and fire up the grill.

Honor felt like a set-up book for the rest of the series. This was supposed to be Oliver and Parker's book, but it ended up being a prequel to Ace and Jacob's story. Even Hunter and Seven got more sparks flying than the MCs as well as the new trio who I guess will become a throuple?

exciting, another great couple

Rating: 4🌈

Operation Justice Force is such a excellent series and Honor continues this with a terrific couple and exciting storylines.

Oliver Rains is a ex Special Forces who has an immediate connection with the former chief of police Parker Johnson that joins the unit.

I’m not really a fan of instant love unless the author makes a genuine case for it for their couple. Whether by being able to telegraph a overpowering chemistry or delivering a understandable connection that makes a instant love feel real.

Knightley does a great job in making us believe that Oliver and Parker’s relationship is built on a foundation of communication, chemistry, and deeper understanding. It’s a honest feel to them as a unit.

That I loved.

There were things that lessened my own depth of connection to the story. That Oliver has a dangerous stalker that he kept a secret from his friends and agency? All I thought of were don’t they conduct background checks? That’s a huge issue that would be easily found out.

The sex trafficking element. They are taking down a major sex trafficking ring. They found a small number out of all the victims indicated. The follow up on those and the aftermath was given shorter space considering what the narrative implies those children went through. And the scene we shown as they are rescued.

For me if you’re going to use it as a storyline then all aspects should be treated accordingly.

The romance, the relationship between Oliver and Parker is the best element of this story. The stalker, the sex trafficking aspect are secondary in my opinion due to a couple of factors that made them a bit less realistic.

Honor is still highly entertaining and I’m recommending it . The fourth story is due out in a few months. I’ll be waiting.

HONOR BY REESE KNIGHTLY
(Operation justice force book 3)

Oliver and Parker

Contains: falling for a coworker, handsome men with great dynamics, weapon, intrigue, action, stalker, s*x trafficking ring.

I'll say it and I will say it again, Reese is an amazing author who with her wonderful talent takes us to the heart of the action in her world with her so endearing characters.

Reese is an author who with each book gets better and better, she keep putting the goal high and always achieve to surpass it. I always have high expectations and they never fall short, she always blow my mind with all these plots. She has a way of writing that keeps us in suspense and doesn't want the book to end.

Parker is finally part of the pangasius team. The chemistry between him and Oliver is still there and hotter than ever. With their personalities, their teasing snarks and their flirting, we fall in love with them all over again. We get to investigate them as well as a personal problem including a stalker. The group dynamic is so complete that it feels real. The feelings explode and the vulnerability is at its peak, perfect for finally admitting your feelings.

Dive into this book that takes us on a new investigation. Once again, we are allowed to play detective. In addition, we get a little more of the human side of them, we discover their feelings, their fears, but also the camaraderie, the flirting of others, the heartbreak of the next couple who will experiece their happy ending.

As always, as soon as I close the book, I'm already hoping to have the next one in hand.

Reese's books are HIGHLY RECCOMENDED to anyone who enjoys action-packed, friendship-filled, frenzied, adrenaline-filled stories at a fast pace that take us on a race to the enemy. HEA Guaranteed.

Oliver and Parker: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

God! I really wanted to love this book so much but unfortunately next book will be about Jacob and Ace so writer has to give majority clichè storyline to them.

Jacob was an infuriating brat who has no respect for authority and because his fathers are a prominent member of pheonix he thinks he has every right to question authority, insult his superior in front of everyone and threw temper tantrums if something does not go his way.

Then on the other hand we have Ace who is there boss but he acts like Jacob's personal bodyguard who's life purpose is to save Jacob from all the ugly of this world
Dude he was born in this world he chose this job you have no right to tell what he can and cannot do. Yes he is young, you are his senior you have to let him learn and adapt when you are still working or who is gonna take care of him after you are gone.
But alas it is what it is. I hate these both character from the bottom of my heart and did not want to read there story at all, so I'll be skipping next one.

Now all this rant is useless because these two are not even the MCs but all my focus was only on them for their miscommunication, tantrums and all.

Ace hated Parker because he thought he is dating Jacob like wtf you are the boss, you supposed to be impartial.

But other than that I liked both Parker and Oliver, there characters were good with NO MISCOMMUNICATION between them (Ace and Jacob should take pointers)
For me oliver and parker deserves 4 stars but unfortunately because of some other useless characters, decreasing it to 2 because seriously if I wanted to read OTT melodrama and miscommunication then I wouldn't have thought of picking this one.

This book was full of drama and action as the team worked together to tackle the sex trafficking ring. Mixed with that was the relationship between Oliver and Parker and accepting that they could still work together. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.

Really enjoying this series

I’m doing a binge read, in order, of all of Knightley’s catalog. This is the 20th book in the universe. I finished all of the Code of Honor series and the Out for Justice series though from what I just saw on the website it looks like another book is being added there. Now I’m working my way through the Operation Justice series (Pegasus) and for some reason these guys are just clicking for me right now. I especially enjoyed all the cameos from guys in other series in this one, especially Roscoe, Wild, and Storm as they are my favorites so far I think.

In this one the book starts with the couple already attracted to each other and doing some heavy flirting. There’s no third act break up nonsense and it’s more about their relationship growing as we trace the progress of the cases. I also enjoyed that the incidents in this book propel some action for other characters as well. There are two main cases here. A trafficking one and a stalking one. I would have liked some more on page closure for the villain in the trafficking one. I like to see the bad guy getting humiliated and getting his ass kicked!

Looking forward to the next book where it appears we will finally get some closure to some long running UST!

Once again Reese knightly Operation Justice Force story does not disappoint.

Parker Johnson is a retired police chief who left the force because of the mayor, but also to continue to fight for the justice of the people. Oliver Rains is an ex Special Forces who joined Pegasus after his retirement from the military. When he met Parker, there was an instant attraction.Parker liked what he saw in Oliver but he didn’t want to pursue a relationship with a colleague and having a hard time fighting the attraction. Oliver had a secret, a stalker and once the men of Pegasus found out, they set out to capture the guy. Pegasus was helping the Ventura Police department to apprehend and destroy a sex trafficking ring. Much love was shown between the men of Pegasus. This is Oliver and Parker’s story and it is worth reading. If you have read any of Reese other books you will know her storyline is so realistic with an understanding of just how corrupt this world is. I enjoy her stories because they help me to understand and see that someone cares enough to fight for Justice.

My first but not my last

I love romantic suspense so I was very excited to have the opportunity to listen to Honor by Reese Knightley from Tantor Audio. She has been an author I wanted to read and as soon as I read about this series, I knew I would love it. My instincts were spot on. I really enjoyed meeting the men of Pegasus even mid series, and can’t wait to go back to the beginning. Reese combines suspenseful plot with a sweet love story and just enough spice to allow readers to really feel the connection between her characters. Declan Winters is a new to me narrator, and I felt that his performance was absolutely superb. Even though he had a lot of characters to give voice to, they all felt distinct and I never struggled to know who was talking.

Oliver and Parker both work for Pegasus together and though they are both attracted to each other, they’ve only flirted for the past month. Oliver joined after a military career to keep helping others. Parker left the police force looking to leave a desk behind and get back out on the streets. When Pegasus is asked to help take down a sex trafficking ring, the unit agrees to help. But when Oliver is threatened, Parker realizes he will do anything necessary to keep him safe and while he can keep Oliver safe, his heart is another matter.

Honor was a yummy read with a nice balance between the suspense plot and the light angst love story. Add to it a large cast of strong, capable men and some humorous dialogue, and this story goes by in a flash. I’m so glad it’s a series because I already want more. Reese Knightley will be an author I know I’ll watch so I can snap up her latest releases.

Still going strong.

Honor is book three of the Operation Justice Force series. It focuses on Oliver and Parker. Parker was the police chief when they first met, but decided to leave that post and work for Pegasus. Oliver has been into Parker from the start but Is put off by his Playboy reputation.
This story is just as good a read as any of the others in the series. The author is very fluid from one book to another not missing any steps or changing any characters. All the characters are fun to read about and the banter and brotherhood vibe makes you want to read more of them. There is once again great action and romance. Worth the read. It can be a stand alone but better if you read the others.

4 solid stars, but definitely not because the couple

I really loved the previous two books of this series, but Oliver and Parker just don't make me feel anything about it.

Idk, maybe because I really expected a book about Hunter and Seven rather this couple, but in almost 300 pages they didn't have a story to be developed, even the stalker plot was forgotten along the way. Oliver and Parker didn't had any real problems, everything felt plain and boring, even their fights about absolute nothing.

And this after Mason and Gage who talked with each other through their problems, really annoyed me.

What I have to say is, that without the other guys and the excellent action scenes, this book would receive a 2 stars review.

Excited to read Jacob's and Ace book.

Operation Justice Force all the way! I love these men, the found family, the action, the heroism, and the love, so much love. Oliver and Parker are fantastic. Their connection makes my heart so happy and I can’t get enough of the way they click.

“‘You are going to be my heaven, aren’t you?’ Oliver said breathily.
‘If you’ll let me.’”

Swoons and heart eyes, what’s not to love about these two stubborn, passionate, and deadly men. I’m bouncing on the edge of my seat for what’s to come in this thrilling and addictive world. I’m not sure who I’m craving the most but I do know I want them all.

A bad apple in an otherwise entertaining universe

I've read all the other books in this universe — the entire Code of Honor series and the entire Out for Justice series and also the 2 previous books in this Operation Justice Force series. And they were all entertaining. This one was.... Bleh. I can't believe the same author wrote this. The characters felt fake. I couldn't stand them and God only knows what to make of their dynamic. I only stayed till the end cos I am invested in the series and I want to read the next 2 books and (God forbid) any further spin offs. The author introduced us to one of Ace's brothers in this book and there are apparently 4 more so....

Another wonderful addition to Reese's badass boys collection. Pulling in characters from her other overlapping series, Honor had a little more background info on the who's who which made it all the more cohesive. Parker has definitely decided Oliver is the one for him. Oliver is a flirt and a tease while trying to protect his heart and deal with Parker's over-protective streak. This was certainly their story with a HEA but the subplot really was a great lead-in to her next in series, Rebel. This one goes on the definitely to be read again shelf.

Another fantastic book by Reese Knightley! I've been waiting on Oliver's Book since he appeared in Cutting it Close as the best friend of River. I wasn't disappointed. Ex Special Forces Oliver's witty and funny nature and Former Chief of Police Parker's level-headed and strong personality make a great team. Coupled with the action with the case they're working on it's another great book filled with the strong, badass guys for Resse's universe. I really enjoyed meeting some characters of Phoenix again :)

Misleading blurb. The blurb's basically a summary of what happens before the book starts. Also, '[t]hen someone comes after Oliver' is a straight-up lie; he's been stalked for a year. Based on the previous two books I've read by this author, they make some odd writing decisions: the book starts in the middle of the story and skips any relationship development between the two MCs. Too many boring side characters that originate in a totally separate series. Everyone seems to be a manly man with a beard.

Holy Toledo was this good. I ended up reading it in one sitting. Parker and Oliver have been dancing around each other for over a month. When they finally get together, I loved the possessiveness from both of them. Great chemistry. They work well together and they solved a mystery and something personal from Oliver. Cannot wait to read Ace’s and Jacob’s book. That will def be a doozy.

I received a copy of this book for my review.

love, love, loved it

It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book by this author but I am always pleasantly surprised by the depth and color of the characters and storyline. I love Oliver and Parker together. They are so sweet and it’s fun watching them find their HEA. Add in the excitement of the two separate cases Pegasus is working as well as the tension between Ace and Jacob and you have a great book.

I enjoy these stories so much! The team is full of awesome characters and their banter is always hillarious.
In this book we get Parker and Oliver’s story and the author did a great job with this pair! They have bit of an opposites attract vibe, but the chemistry is high from the get go and there is no slow burn to be seen. The relationship is just as intense as their personalities and it all plays out into a really enjoyable story. Loved every piece of it.

I absolutely adored Parker and Oliver. I knew as soon as they met they they were meant to be and I couldn't wait for their story and I was not disappointed. The complemented each so well. I live that there romance was paced with the mystery and action of the story. I didn't feel like anything was lacking. I also enjoy the interplay with the other characters and can't wait to see what happens next.

Reese Knightley is one of the authors that is an auto buy for me. I've had small glimpses of Oliver in many of the other books in this series and now that he's front and center he does not disappoint. Parker and Oliver were so much fun to read about. Their chemistry was a delight to see from the early stages, to the resulting love. This is one of my top 5 books from all of the intertwining series. I can't wait to see where we go next with our already loved characters and the new ones.

Good continuation of this series.

I did have a few issues with how it read. I felt lost sometimes because I wasn't sure who was talking. I found myself having to go back a sentence or two to see who was saying which line. It felt kind of rushed as well. Like these two needed to get their story told so the next one can be written. Maybe it would be different if it was on Audible and being read in duel.

Ollie & the Chief

Oliver & Parker finally get together, then clean up neighborhood bullies, dodge explosions, and shut down a trafficking ring. There’s a lot going on here. It’s past time for Jacob & Ace have their moment, the longer their story drags out the brattier Jacob looks, and more unhinged Ace seems. Hopefully we’ll find out more about Seven (& maybe Hunter) Look forward to Owen, Creed, & Fisher’s story.

Another great book from Reese Knightley. I loved the dynamics between Parker and Oliver and the others from Pegasus are hilarious. It was fascinating to meet Seven and hope we see more of him and Creed, Owen, and Fisher were scary but I want more about them. I can't wait to read about Jacob and Ace.

These two were so much fun to read. The chemistry between them jumps off the page and their instant love for one another is a sweet spot between two alpha males. The rest of the Pegasus unit plays a great supporting cast and we meet new members in this story. All the things to love about a Reese Knightley book in this story.

This is the story of finding your "one", just for you.

Police Chef Parker is now retired as a Detective/police and is now joined Pegasus. Oliver ex special forces is a member of Pegasus and he wants a date with Parker, but he turned him down once & not sure Parker will ask again. Oliver also has a problem and Parker in danger. Case put both in danger MM romance
