In book 3, Eva finds herself in the peach state of Georgia, with her husband Kris and his old college roommate/FBI Agent, Jake Long. Jake and Eva are the hunt for a sick, demented killer that left behind little evidence. But the evidence the killer did leave, makes this case even more important to Jake, than he ever thought possible. If Eva can help him find this person, he'll not only solve this case, but he will also close the one and only case he left unsolved, before he went to the FBI, twenty years ago. But how far will they go to catch this killer...things get tense, and Eva's list of talents start to grow, the more she uses them, in this suspense filled mystery set around the haunted Lake Lanier, in Georgia. Who says ghosts can't swim....
My name is M.K. Stabley, and I write mysteries with a paranormal twist. My first three books, A Killer Cut, Die at the Races, and Lying Lanier are all part of my Eva St. Claire Mystery Series. I also have a paranormal romance mystery, Visions of Murder that's available on Amazon. I am currently working on a new romance novel titled, "Of All the Fates". Look for that one to be released, late 2022. All titles can be found on Amazon.com or on my website www.authormkstabley.com I currently reside in Georgia, and love the sun and warm temperatures. When I am not writing, you can find me reading, cooking, traveling, playing around with my camera, working on my podcasts, at the gym or hiking. You can find my some of my adventures on my YouTube channel - Mandy Talks... A Lot. I do a podcast once a month with another author, Perrie Patterson, called The Talking Book Podcast. We feature and interview other Indie authors and also interview some bigger name authors, as well.
This is the third Eva St. Claire mystery I’ve read by M.K. Stabley and I found this to be the best in the series so far. Eva is on the hunt to find a demented serial killer. She has teamed up with Jake who wants to not only solve this case but to close the books on a case from 20 years earlier. There’s lots of twists and turns in this cozy mystery. Definitely worth reading.
