It will help one to join and get connected to the global sketching groups, as well as help define artistic goals and find one’s direction towards them. It simplifies concepts like composition design, perspective, values, color theory, watercolor techniques, and many others in simple terms, besides explaining the importance of more complex terms like Fibonacci, Chiaroscuro, etc. COVID-19 has forced many of us to stay at home with restrictions on movement and living in limited spaces. It has created new problems including health related issues, due to lack of exercise, interaction, creative outlet, etc. Especially, seniors are at an increased risk. Among these problems, many are linked to a lack of mental activity, brain-eyes-fingers exercises, and coordination. Sketching can play a great role here to fill the void. It also works like meditation diverting our mind from daily worries and stay creative. It also helps us find new common activities with kids at home. This book will help you to leap into the world of sketching, and lay a strong foundation.
