The Ali men have returned with more problems than they can manage. A tragic occurrence has taken place which tests the bond between Worth, Omir, and Ju. Death looms over them, provoking the men to face all the trauma from their past. Life has always been a nightmare for the trio, and with this new tragedy in their view, it doesn’t seem as if they will receive any relief anytime soon…
Now this was a finale! I loved everything about this book because it answered every question that I posed during the first two books. To see where the characters started and where they needed was a great example of character development. I just felt like a proud mama seeing everyone grow up. Of course this book had its moments of unexpected twists but it added to the storyline. The way the author explored the depths of the characters was nothing short of amazing-she literally stripped them bare and carefully clothed them afterwards. I loved it!!
All the feels!!!🥰🥰🥰 What a finale!!! Charae owes me NOTHING!!! This last book in the series was everything and more! The growth displayed by these Ali men was everything! Worth surprised me the most!! I mean!!! A complete 180! Omir will forever be BAE! Him and Bellamy were just….. ugh 🥰🥰🥰 My dear Judah! I’m not going to lie, Sada did not deserve him but the heart wants what the heart wants so I guess but she was way to immature to be 7 years his senior. Just straight childish! Karin and Tory’s families were straight trash! I wanted to slap Karin’s mama across all 3 books!!…. I’m going to miss this crew! 😩🤧…..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Whew what can I say about the Ali men. Omir, worth and Ju went through so much at such a young age, and were simply existing and not living. In this series Charae takes us on a emotional roller coaster witnessing the journey to healing for the Ali men. This story was so beautifully written and the amount of research Charae put into this series was well executed. So glad these characters got a happy ending it was really deserved. If Charae wrote more about these characters I wouldn't be mad lol.
Listennnnn...Listennnnn..this was everything! Those Ali boys stressed me out! Worth struggled with his actual worth, Ju had a borderline identity crisis, and Omir allowed his pass to oppress his present! The author took her time unfolding their stories. My anxiety didn't appreciate it but the reader in me did. This was beautifully written and well crafted!!!
What a wonderful ending to this series!! I have no unanswered questions. I agree with how Charae did Karin and Worth’s relationship. They were too toxic in books 1 and 2 to have it any other way in book 3. Omir is such a softy and Ju grew so much. So happy he got what he wanted.
I loved this series. The Ali boys definitely stole my heart. I started only liking Worth then Omir stole my heart and Ju warmed my heart. The growth of these men was phenomenal. Definitely recommend this series.
I couldn't put this book down! Despite wanting to stop reading twice, I'm so glad I kept going. Omir, Worth, and Ju went through so much, and watching them grow from boys to men was incredibly heartwarming. The way they ended up with the love and lives they deserved was truly inspiring.
SN: Sada got on my nerves. Ju was younger than her and acted more mature. She was starting to depend on him too much. GIRL!!! STAND UP!!
PS: I’m mad Karin's mom didn't get the @&$ whooping she deserved! 😒
Chileeeeee... I can finally breathe! Charae took me through with 1 & 2, but 3, I saw the light! Soooo much healing took place to allow peace for these men. Revelations provided clarity. Reunions led to forgiveness and restoration in needed relationships. Darla still needed to FEEL the Ali wrath... but she lives to see another day. 😒 Anywho, I hope Wallace divorces her in part 4... jk... there is no more... but Ima write here! It's ova!! Lol Great job Charae!! 🎉🎊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Awwww I’m so sad that it was over! And she doesn’t owe me a dang on thing. The growth and maturity of these three characters was everything! After everything that they had been through! Especially Worth! Because baby I never thought he would ok!What the love and support of a good woman will do! I loved how this book showed that it was nothing wrong with getting help for mental health problems! The ending was perfect! Everything was perfect! Sensational
Wow, what an ending to a great series. The Ali men have endured so much during their childhood but still managed to stick together and find happiness along the way. I love how this book showed the growth of Omir, Worth and Ju. It wasn't always easy, but I was glad they were willing to accept their flaws and consider a new direction in life outside of the streets. Their growth also allowed them to find love and happines which was definitely a blessing. Great series.
Now this is definitely what you call a finally! Omir finally let Bellamy completely in and I loved the growth. Once Worth stopped being selfish and started working on himself I loved this new him. Lastly, I’m so excited that Ju finally met his mama and got his girl back! This book gave me everything I needed. Thank you Cherae, this was a great read!
Encore, encore, encore!!! I want more, please🙏🏾. The entire series was great. I was on an emotional rollercoaster the entire time. Just read the damn series.
I love this author’s work. I loved this series from beginning to the end. My emotions were all over the place but I couldn’t stop reading. I highly recommend this series.
This author has placed us on quite a journey with Omir, Worth, and Ju. I am still reeling from all the things Randi put them through and what she was going to put Ju through on that fateful day. To see their evolution and transformation was a strength in the author's character development. Watching Worth shift from the reckless and selfish to deliberate and considerate was a plus to this finale. I don't want to share any spoilers but I will state that this finale was on point and the author owes me nothing. Great job.
I am so happy that Karin finally stood up to her parents. I want her and Worth to get back together I think they would last now that he’s worked through his issues. Omir and Bellamy are so cute together. I am glad Ju and Sada got it together I feel like they needed that time apart so that they could come back together stronger. Amor annoyed me because she was always in Karin’s business. I get that she was her best friend but I felt like she overstepped a lot. I want to read more about them all.
Ms. Charae Lewis did her thing man with the conclusion of this book it’s way different compared to 1 and 2 so much growth and development mixed with honesty and owning up to your faults and mistakes. I’m so proud of all three boys ju omir and worth they did they thing with refocusing what is important to them and finding the right path for them to have a better life toxic and stressful free. Proud of the women also sada, Korin and Bellamy they owned up their faults and responsibilities that they took part in and better themselves also. The way korin and worths relationship left off is for the better I feel it is much more toxic free and compromising with much love involved and all the right motives but i like the way Ms. Charae phrased the words because even thought they will remain what they are right now I feel and hope maybe in the future that they reconcile even more but as adults in a healthy relationship of love and understanding. Proud of sada getting her life together in order I see juda soon putting a ring on that finger and a belly swelling with the family complete having the additions of people involved. I’m very happy that ju was able to find that missing piece that he’s been needing for a very long time to give him the peace he needed and desire because he is such a kind hearted giving soul of a person and deserves all that happiness anytime I read his character I just wanna give child juda a big hug and tell him it’s gonna be okay and keep holding on. Worth really glowed up crazily and I know we are all loving it because he learned a lesson that started him on a journey of growth and responsibility and dealing with his trauma. Bellamy really helped omir change his views on women that before was so low but I’m happy to read and see the different mindset he’s in now and what he’s opened himself up to and the possibilities very happy for him. Many things unpacked in this last installment of the series that I’m happy about and can’t believe happened. Give this book a chance especially after reading books 1-2 first to see the major changes and definition of character growth as a person and individual that Ms Lewis set off. ❤️❤️
I'm happy to report I'm still alive after reading this conclusion to this series. This book pacing was wayyyyyyy calmer then the other two and I thank you cause you be stressing me out lol. If I could sum this finale up I would say Boy's To Men. If we revisit in books one to two Omir, Worth, and Ju they were boys. Their emotional bandwidth was stunted by deep rooted trauma. In this book we get to see them work to heal from their trauma. The Ali men weren't the only growth in this book Bellamy, Karin, and Sada also blossom.
Worth Worth Worth what can I say, in books 1 and 2 I struggled to even like your behind but here in book 3 I just gotta say I'm so proud of you. The work you put in did not go unnoticed and I'm glad that you got your wish to be a father but really your healing. I thought the outcome for Karin and Worth was correct, some might not like it but ultimately I think it was the best decision cause out of all the pairing they went from 1 to 1,000 real quick. I also gotta mentioned that it was about time Karin bossed up on her family. That mama is lucky that's all I'm going to say.
Ju was of course my favorite cause why not his heart was always present even from book one.Ju just wanted unconditional love. Him and Sada definitely had some growing pains and I was unclear on their overall outcome. Just know that gets resolved, also glad Ju got his answers.
Omir glad you were able to learn that not all women were Randi.
The pen game on Ms. Lewis is nothing to be played with. I can't wait to see what characters and series she has next. READ THIS but start from the beginning if you haven't done so.
Whew!! This series was a roller-coaster ride for sure but glad that the end result was happy endings for everyone!. The three boys had troubled childhoods which stemmed into issues in their adulthood. Glad they all found a way to find healing to lead healthy lives.
After feeling fully responsible for Ju being shot Worth decides its time to get the help he needs to move on from his troubled past. With the help of a counselor he is able to get the healing he needs to start living a better life. Also finding out he was the father of Karins baby gave him hope. He knew he had to better himself in order to be a great dad. His relationship with Karin improved once she noticed the changes he was making for the better.
Just being shot was a reality check that the street life was something he needed out of in order to advance in life. He went to school to get his cosmetology license and opened a successful barbershop. His relationship with Sada was a little rocky but they worked past their issues and mended their relationship. What made him complete was finding his mother and working on building a relationship with her.
Omir was a tough one to crack but somehow Bellamy was able to get past his exterior and make her way into his heart. Finding his father and getting some understanding about his mother also played a part in his healing process.
All three men gave up the street life after many years after deciding they had more to live for. This was a great series. Can't wait to read more from this author.
*contains spoilers* Author Charae Lewis took on a journey with these Ali men!! My nerves were so bad at the end of part 2 with Ju being shot. This part immediately picks up where the last one left off, Ju was ok for the time being and everyone's emotions were high. Worth being consumed with guilt finally realizes how his impulsive actions hurts the people around him. He decides to go to therapy and I was sooo proud that he took that step. It was also good to see him step up with his son and against Karin's mother. Him and Karin were in such a good place by the story's end. Bellamy was my favorite character throughout all three books. I admired her resilience and ability to not let her disability stop her from being her best self. I'm glad she was patient with Omir. He definitely needed her love. Sada and Ju definitely had their ups and downs this part. They were finally able to work it out and I loved that. My favorite part was Ju connecting with his mother. That was a long time coming and the ultimate happy ending. Overall a 5 star read and I can't wait for more!
This series was so daggone good. Charae, girl! I could not put it down. I definitely should have taken heed to the TW because, whew! I was enraged a certain parts and every time I saw italicized writing I felt dread because I knew it was going to be something gut wrenching.
You follow 3 young men as they navigate adulthood after a traumatic childhood. Each of them affected by it differently and also dealing (or not dealing) with it in different ways. Anxiety, PTSD……a laundry list of issues. Omir was captain of the He-Man woman hated club, rightfully so. Eternally sad and weighed down by the responsibilities he had. Ju, the low self esteem Casanova, with deep rooted abandonment issues and Worth. Worth, the selfish live wire with impulsive tendencies. All 3, incredibly broken young men yearning for peace and contentment.
In the finale, you see them grow and be less guarded. You understand more about their past and how it shaped them. Bellamy, the disable beauty, her strength, her character, her resolve was chef’s kiss! Karin and Worth’s “ending” was breath of fresh air. So realistic. This last one really closed it out proper!
This was a beautiful end to the EOT series. Charae Lewis did an excellent job in storytelling and her writing skills were near perfection. She took her writing skills to another level. I’d say this is some of her best work thus far. It was at another level. The story was well written the flow was perfect. It was the writing style for me! The way it vacillated between first person POV and third person narrative really displayed her pen skills. She had me pulling out a dictionary on her word game. There was far less cussing ,sex and even the use of the N-word. She really delved into the character development. She tackled therapy and the importance of it. She delved into the impact and of how incarcerated parental relationships are important. Just Wow! The way she shined a light into the process of unpacking trauma was done so well. She even tackled a major black women health issue due to disparities in health care. I didn’t want the story to end. Oh, and the sex scenes were done so well. Cheers 🥂 to this one!
What a way to conclude this series. Everything fell right into place how it’s supposed to. Worth- Even tho he’s always with the shit. I’m so proud of him. He did what he had to do to be a better person and got his shit together. Loved this version of him. Ju- I’m glad he turn out ok. And finally got Sada back. It was a journey but they finally got it right. The age gap wasn’t a issue at all but the way he loved on Sada and Noah is everything. Omir - Omg he’s such a hard shell to break but my girl Bells got right through to him. The protector of all. He’s going to do what he needs to do to protect his at all cost. Seeing him with bells and not looking at her any different is everything. Overall I love this series so much. Seeing the growth in all 3 Ali men is unmatched. You would never see one without the other. They ride for each other like no other. This series is a 10/10. I would definitely recommend.
A great series. Two brothers Worth and Omir and a cousin Judah. Grew up together in the most horrific circumstances. Their mother was a monster. It was different to read about men that suffered with mental health, because man deal with their trauma differently. My heart bled for them during their childhood journey. Because of that trauma, it spilled into their adulthood and created havoc with dealing with women. The blessing of growth and healing is powerful. Don't mistake this series about trauma because you will know you are smack dead in the middle of the hood with bullets whizzing by while puffing on a blunt. The author was very descriptive and realistic which made the storyline flow.
I really enjoyed this series. Those Ali men have taken hold of a special place in my heart. The author did a great job of connecting their historical pain to their decision making. Now the women…
Bellamy was the BEST!
But Sada and Karin were the WORSE! It felt their relationships with Ju and Worth was more harmful, whereas what Bells and Omir had going was healthy and honest.
It’s not usual when reading romance, but I desperately wanted Ju and Worth to find someone else. Although, my wish didn’t come true. I am happy with how things ended. Especially with Ju getting the closure he needed.
This finale was well written and very thought out. Nothing about it screamed rushed and it flowed well. Nice to see all three guys grow into men and witness their views on women change. Very glad that Ju got some answers. Love Bellamy and Omir the most. Still don’t like Karin, still don’t feel like she took any accountability. Unpopular opinion: Amor was a shitty friend. How many times did she sell Karin out, family or not she overstepped multiple times and her ass did not deserve a new car 😂😂
