Everybody noticed when Tripp Scott transferred to Raymere Grove High School. This came as no surprise since he is handsome, charming, and a star baseball player. The attention is nothing new to Tripp, but this time around he is looking for something different.Ashlyn, the artsy reporter for the school paper, might just be that special difference in the small and elite town. Tasked with showing Tripp around on his first day and covering his sports events, she quickly catches his attention. While his advances seem sweet and genuine, she has to refuse them since she is already in a long-term relationship. Ashlyn would like to remain friends with him, but how will her bully of a boyfriend react? More importantly, will friendship be enough for Tripp?Emotions run high in this second story from Raymere Grove High School.
Nikki's love for stories began at a young age when her mother read books to her every night. This fondness transitioned to an English degree from college enjoying works such as Light in August by William Faulkner during her studies. Since then she has had the privilege to work with children at a local middle school.
Nikki has always written stories in her free time. Inspiration comes from a variety of places, with music being a particularly common one.
Nikki currently lives in Texas with her husband and rescue dog CindeRella. When not engrossed in a book you can find her spending time with her parents cooking up a new dish to share with her friends and family.
The story pulled me in from the start. While I'm not the biggest fan stories being written in the third person, because it makes the story impersonal in my opinio, I was drawn to this one. Drama kept me reading.

An exciting interesting good young adult romance story. This engaging storyline had a good enjoyable plot as the characters grew throughout the story. The characters are interesting with good clean chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
