Eagle Creek Ranch #2

Cowboy's Tender Touch

Rate this book
~ Ethan ~
I had been a lawyer from New York City. I'd only come to the Eagle Creek Ranch for the reading of my father's will. I hadn't intended to stay. That was six months ago, and so much had changed since then. The biggest change was my romantic involvement with Jake Cooper, the ranch foreman. I was pretty sure I was falling for him, but he kept treating me like I didn't belong on the ranch, making it harder to decide whether to stay or go.

Before I can decide one way or the other, dealing with troubles at the ranch take precedence. People are coming onto the ranch, endangering everyone here. And if that wasn't bad enough, I get called back to the city to deal with an old client of mine. Flying back to New York City wasn't the problem. Deciding if I was coming back to the ranch—and Cooper—was.

~ Cooper ~
Ethan Walker was unlike anyone I had ever met and I was totally fascinated by him. He was also a city boy and I was terrified that he would get hurt because he knew nothing about life on the ranch. When my need to keep him safe leads to a rift between us, and then he suddenly decides to fly back to New York, I make the decision to go with him. I'll be damned if I let him go alone. He might not come back.

Warning: Gay erotic romance. The material in this book contains explicit sexual content that is intended for mature audiences only. All characters involved are adults capable of consent, are over the age of eighteen, and are willing participants.

Hot cowboys, booming dynamite, scorching sex and an HEA !
Strangers want to check out the old gold mine on the Eagle Creek Ranch land and start big trouble.
When Ethan, the Lawyer,

has to go to NYC, cowboy Cooper

goes along. We see humor and hot lovin'.

Two things get settled in this story and each is exciting. Of course the best surprise is saved for the last. The trip back to the ranch from NYC contains an extra passenger.
The old mine gets even more attention, and the mystery of how rumors are spreading gets complicated.

The huge explosion rocks everyone, and there's a subsequent rescue, too !
Add to all the fuss, there is a standoff about Ethan's client that he's been protecting.

A terrific story, suspense, deep love, and we're hoping the bliss continues.
ENJOY !

This is another enjoyable book in the Eagle Creek Ranch world. Continuing from Bk 1, Ethan and Cooper are still together, but Ethan is tired of Cooper overprotecting him as Ethan gets used to living on a ranch. Cooper, on the other hand, is fearful of all the dangers that Ethan may encounter. While Ethan is undecided about whether to stay or leave, he gets called back to NYC to handle the case of a favored client. Cooper doesn't want to leave things so unsettled, so he decides to go with him. In the meanwhile, the ranch is still having trouble with trespassers looking for gold and other potential dangers. Can these two men work out their insecurities and be able to take their relationship to the next level? This book has danger, exciting times, passionate encounters, and a big love.

Well written

This book is the second in the series and was a good follow-up to the previous story. I enjoyed reading the next adventure of the Eagle Creek residents. I also hope there is more to come, maybe more of the side romances.
