Now that we're on book 3, we pretty much know what to expect from this series.
A lot of battles, some stealth, political machinations, and now guild business.
Rather than recap the plot, I want to say that the pacing in book 3 is better than the first two books by a large margin. The downtime isn't too boring, and the addition of the beastkin was a nice twist.
The only complaint I have was with the Adventurer's Guild. It came out of left field, and seemed like something our MC should have shared with his team in advance.
Still, I enjoyed the book. That's what really matters.

Savage, brilliant and entertaining.
I've always enjoyed a good assassin main character and these novels are some of the best I've read.
With the game like elements of quests, exp, levels, skills and magic it makes for some fun and interesting combinations.
And savage bloodshed. But that's to be expected from an Assassin with a code of honour and grand schemes.
Looking forward to the next novel.

I love a good anime reminder
If you have ever watched the show “ The time I was reincarnated as a slime “ , or shield hero I believe this author is a good friend of yours
This book itself is a hard to put down & it’s character growths are subtle but important and impactful you can definitely see him building akin to something greater like the MCU did with iron man

Another Job well done.
Still great fun.
If you ever heard the phrase don’t judge a book by its cover, this is a prime example of it. The low budget manga drawings on the cover does not do justice to the writing level. Might be a good idea to change them retroactively.

Different than what I thought it would be.
This one surprised me, and that is always enjoyable. Once the direction sets in, you enjoy the ride. The pace is excellent, you read the whole thing without realizing. All in all, a fun addition to a good series.

Not bad
I really liked the story and like the directions it is taking. It’s unfortunate that sales for this series is low since it’s better then a lot of the LN garbage that has been released on Amazon lately.

Superior!!
I've enjoyed my time reading Mr Sinclair two series they've been very spectacular stories to read he's taken bad heroes and made non stop reading a Assassin and Necromancer ill which to A new series and I'm hoping to be entertained??

Much better than i could have imagined
To the point, i found this series on accident and sped through all three in a week. I hella hope he’s got at least ten books in mind. And if i ever meet you, Grayson Sinclair, Ima give you a big ol kiss for being so creative.

Great cliffhanger
Excellent continuation of the series. Characters developing, becoming more fleshed out. Politics intruding. War brewing. We can only hope the author returns to the series at some point. I really want to see how things shake out in the long run.
