I recently read the book. And compared to the first book I adored it a lot especially the dynamic between Billy, Badgy, Ben, and Ollie. I also find their dialogue fun to read throughout the whole book. In addition, I find the author's take on Piggy Book 2 interesting and unique. Plus, the illustrations are pretty good. The only criticism I would give about the book is the lack of proofreading for example Sally was the replacement for Bunny in the first book, despite this, they mention Bunny early in the book until they change it back to Sally late in the book which is strange & weird when reading this for the first time. Also one point in the book, they call Badgy "baggy."

Unlike the first book, this one is similar to the Piggy game, yet different. The first book told the story of Book 1 of Piggy, except it switched the characters around, but this book, while it features some of the locations of Book 2, also has locations in Book 1 and does not follow the order of the original story.

Also, I saw a few errors where the book called Sally, Bunny. Bunny was a character in the game but was replaced by Sally in the first book. For half of this book, the character is called Bunny, and the rest of the book she is called Sally.

The inconsistencies between this book and the first book really bothered me. Like is her name bunny or sally? What happened to the man with the helicopter, we totally just dropped that plot. I thought Badgey WAS a scientist originally, that’s what it said in the first book but now he knows nothing? So confused.

Book 2 of Piggy. Super fun adventure. Fast paced and lots of escapes that are narrow and harrowing as they search for the cure. Still maintains the video game feel with swinging axe and all. Still continues to be appropriate for Goosebumps readers and others.

My daughter bought me this book at her first book fair. She said it was because I liked spooky things, so of course I read it! Very cute, spooky little book.

This book rocks!
Finally, we have a book 2 for book 2! I love the art and general storyline, but, being a Roblox pro, I will point out that it's not very accurate, like Badgey not being infected, but the stuff with willow is GREAT.

january 7, 2024 - this book is better than Infected, for sure. i feel there is more of a plot and it kept my interest better than the first. the inconsistency of Sally/Bunny’s name was frustrating. there is also quite of bit of repetitiveness with the writing, but overall a good read! i can see myself picking up the third book.

january 2023 - i really have to wait until AUGUST for this book 💀
