Will he give in to their powerful chemistry or protect them both from making an irreversible mistake?
She’s worked for him for over a year.
He’s kept his hands clenched and eyes up.
Until now.
Now, it’s becoming impossible for Chief Marketing Office, Fletcher Dufort, to maintain his distance from his PR Manager, Olivia Miller. With flaming red hair and hips begging to be gripped, his need for her is overwhelming. Yet the company policy - which he and his brothers instituted because of their philandering founder and father - forbids him.
When sparks fly, and Olivia is the one to halt them, Fletcher is shocked. As a New York billionaire, used to woman falling into his bed, he questions the fear lingering deep in her lust-filled eyes.
Single mom, Olivia, loves her job. Working for a drop-dead gorgeous man, who gazes at her like he wants to lay her on his desk and lick her from head to toe, makes things dangerously exciting. Except she can’t. If her toxic journalist ex-husband found out, he’d spin the truth—again - and she’d lose her daughter, Sammy.
Can Fletcher fight this desire between them while helping Olivia, or will they give in to the overwhelming need to touch?

I swear, I fall in love with the hero in every book of this author’s, she is just that good at connecting the reader to the story. All the characters become like friends you have known forever, or like making new life long friends. The emotions are written so clearly, that you can physically feel it. I have nothing but praise for this book, it’s characters, the storyline and it’s telling.
The story is okay, but the editing errors are a bit annoying. The characters are well written and there is chemistry between the two MCs. Editing errors like the following: He grabbed his face and dropped his lips to hers with force.
And then there is this error:
Harper’s friend, Addison, had arrived at one point, and he immediately liked her.
Sadly, in the story Addison is Olivia’s friend, not Harper’s.
for me book 2 runs on up there above book 1 & 3 ... read those first ...but Fletcher was kind of present in book 1 and 3 ...so i had a feel ...so far he is my first brother ...we will see as i read book 4, 5, 6, & 7, i see those are the ones out now ... but several of these books are not link together ... Dufort Dynasty. each couple had their this or that. i really love Olivia ..."Liv" ... her story will pull on your heartstrings ...so sweet. i can see her and will her story. read on. bye. ----------- -------- -- totally after reading until book 7 ... i feel i can see and know what this author does in this series ...i am gonna stop ...i know spoiler alert ...now you have to read what makes you happy ... i am not saying others should do any of this or that ...like all books ...u r are the 1 to decide ...for me, myself and i ... Fletcher is my favorite ...he is the stand up dude i think ... i think how it was laid out ... how he cared and did for Olivia "Liv" just warmed my heart and was so sweet.
Fletcher Dufort and Olivia Miller's love story is a one heck of intricacies. Aside from the non-fraternization policy rigidly enforced in the Dufort Office, Olivia is also being held by her abusive, manipulative and narcissistic ex-husband. I admire Fletcher for his tenacity to pursue Olivia despite the obstacles, but I feel a bit disappointed with Olivia on the other hand. I understand her trepidation of losing her daughter due to her husband's threats, but she should've been strong enough to fight for her since finding out she has been set up. If not for Fletch's help, she would've been living with fear and being controlled by her ex-husband all her life. This forbidden romance was a nice read. Though this author's writing style is fast-paced, questions about the plot have been covered. Now on to Hunter's book.
I was so excited to read the next segment in this series. It didn’t disappoint at all! Think of it like a different slow burn, but not the type to hold off on any touching of any kind. This has all of that! If anything it was the kind of burn where you deny your feelings and desire but give in anyway and convince yourself it doesn’t mean anything. Olivia did this and I get that she was scared for Sammy and herself given the past with her ex and what he’s capable of but there comes a time when enough is enough. There were times I wanted to shake her and make her see reason. Fletcher showed her that he cared about and loved her. He wanted her to experience what it was like being with him and able to share his wealth with someone he loves. This was a really sweet story and I loved all the feels with this. There’s something about a forbidden romance that just draws you in and this was no exception. I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s the idea of doing something you shouldn’t and the fact that you can get in trouble with it. It makes it so passionate, needy and sensual. This had all of that. I have to say, I thought I would have the same reaction I did with the first book, which was also positive. I can only imagine what Hunter’s story will entail. It seems darker, more intense and rough around the edges which is very romantic. I cannot wait to start, and this series has not disappointed thus far.
This book follows Daniel’s billionaire brother Fletcher Dufort. Fletcher is the Chief Marketing Officer for Dufort Hotels & his right hand woman is public relations manager Olivia Miller. Fletcher & Olivia have worked closely together for over 2 years. They’re both single & very attracted to each other. Due to company policy, they can’t have a relationship. Olivia doesn’t date because her ex-husband, a controlling, manipulative man, would use anything & everything against her to get sole custody of their daughter. Fletcher, nicknamed the playboy of Manhattan, has dated many women but never for long. As their attraction intensifies, they both find it hard to stay away. They agree to one night of passion, hoping it will quell their desires. One night turns into more & as much as they know they shouldn’t keep seeing each other, they can’t stop. They don’t want to stop. The ex-husband tries to blackmail them, Olivia resigns from her job, Fletcher gets the company policy revoked. Olivia’s daughter is put in danger & Fletcher helps save her. They admit they’ve fallen in love with each other & Fletcher proposes. Will they get their happily ever after? I really liked their relationship. It was sweet & I liked that it was a slow build up, staring as co-workers.

Olivia and Fletcher—she’s a single mom who works as a PR manager under him at his family’s upscale hotel chain. Unfortunately, there’s a non-fraternization among employees policy, so their attraction is forbidden, yet they still succumb. She is also terrified of what her ex-husband might do to take her daughter away from her permanently, so she had told herself she wouldn’t see any man until her daughter was 18. Of course, Liv and Fletch fall in love, a photo of them kissing surfaces, she resigns, he gets the board to change their policy so she can continue working for them, then her daughter gets kidnapped….In the end, they get their HEA. Compelling storyline but some editing issues (you can’t get names wrong).

Fletcher (age 30) is the Director of Marketing and PR. He is the sportiest Dufort brother. Olivia Miller is his PR Manager for the past two years. She was smart, funny and totally off limits as an employee. She left her husband 3 years ago and now they share custody of her daughter Sammy (age 6). Her ex-husband was narcissistic and after realizing his gaslighting attempts she found the courage to leave. Now he constantly threatens her so being with Fletcher is not possible.
Both of them have their reasons to stay apart but you can’t fight your heart. Only Olivia and Sammy can melt Fletcher’s heart and he won’t let them get away.
Love seeing the Dufort brotherly love and banter plus that quick Black Hawke Security cameo!
Fletcher Dufort is one of3 brothers who share ownership in Dufort hotels. He has a PR executive that is very good at her job and Fletcher works side by side with her. They have worked together for 2 years and have slowly become attracted to one another. Olivia and Fletcher can't be together because of an old policy that employees can't date. This puts a strain on their relationship plus Olivia has an ex who is a narcissist. He is always scheming to get custody of their daughter. Simon proves to be a challenge for Fletcher. He is bound and determined to make Olivia and Sammy his. Whatever it takes.
Olivia and Fletcher together was a great match . It took some finagling to eliminate the no fraternization clause they worked under but finally they could be together. After Sammy was kidnapped by her narcissistic father Simon, they grew closer in effort of getting her back home. The Black Hawk Agency was much more euthanasia the police. They made sure Simon was put away and all parental removed. Fletcher is now protecting Olivia and Sammy his home. Bring on the wedding.
Ok, so why do the men have to be billionaires these days? A dozen millions is enough, all the billionaires in the press are seriously unattractive. Aside from that, I really sunk into Fletcher and Olivia’s love story. Very good.
The story in FORBIDDEN TOUCH was just ok. When I think back through everything that transpired, it wasn’t much of a story - just the same basic theme of why Fletcher and Olivia couldn’t be together.
In boxed set - "Dufort Dynasty Billionaire Romance Boxset Volume One: Sinful Duty, Forbidden Touch, Total Possession, Desire Unbound (The Dufort Dynasty Book 10) "
Forbidden Touch is the second book in author, Juliette N. Banks' The Dufort Dynasty series. This is the story of the evolution of a forbidden relationship between the middle of the three Dufort brothers, Fletcher, and his PR Manager, Olivia, from employer-employee to so very much more. But, it is also about the evolution of Fletcher, who is publicly known as a Playboy Bachelor, to the sensitive and caring man who over time has fallen for someone he cannot have. In addition to a sweet but spicy love story is a dark/dangerous threat that must be dealt with. This book grabbed me from the very beginning and I didn't stop reading until it was completed. I would recommend reading Sinful Duty, book one in this series first and then reading this one immediately following it (not absolutely necessary but worth it). I am really glad I won't have to wait too long for the third book in this series, Total Possession, which is scheduled to release soon.
This second installment in the Dufort Dynasty does not disappoint! It is about middle brother, Fletcher Dufort, and his PR Manager, Olivia Miller. Fletcher is swoon-worthy! Of the three Dufort brothers, Fletcher seems the most open and least scarred by their parents’ relationship. He is the most willing to find love, and the most hopeful. Olivia is a complex woman - a loving and self-sacrificing mom, a smart business woman, and a scarred and damaged ex-wife. Olivia’s ex, Simon, is a character you just want to smack with a rock! Olivia and Simon’s daughter, Sammy, is adorable, and an unfortunate pawn for Simon. Fletcher’s need to protect Olivia and Sammy is very attractive, and his determination to change the things that keep them apart is sexy. The chemistry between Olivia and Fletcher jumps off the page with lots of steam!
In the Steamy Billionaire Romance genre, this met, and exceeded, my expectations. I would love to have spent days immersed in this story, but it is so good, I whipped through it in a day! Overall, Fletcher and Olivia’s story is very romantic with moments of heartbreak and terror to balance everything out. As someone who was born, raised, and worked in New York for half my life, I think Juliette does an excellent job of capturing that New York vibe!
I loved catching up with Daniel and Harper from Sinful Duty in this book, and I can’t wait to read Hunter’s book, Total Possession. It promises to be a wild and steamy ride!
When you're a billionaire, there's nothing you can't get. Except for the woman of your dreams because of a stupid, outdated workplace policy....that you voted in.
Fletcher Dufort has everything he could ever want. A thriving Hotel chain he runs with his brothers, women by the truck load and money. The only problem with that is the woman he truly wants can never be his because he's her boss. He can't deny the sexual tension between them and neither can she, but because of that stupid workplace policy, she can never be his. Or, can he find a way around it?
Olivia Miller has one main goal in life. Keeping her daughter. And if that means doing the same thing, day in and day out so her ex-husband has nothing to use against her, so be it. However, she can't deny the strong pull she has towards her boss. How could she not? He's handsome, smart and funny. But she could not only lose her job but also her daughter if she gives into the tension between them.
This story is one of passion, heart and courage. Olivia puts her love life on the backburner to keep her daughter but one night of giving in to the tension swirling between her and Fletcher causes her worst fear to come to light.
I'm giving this book 4.5 stars because the story seemed to focus more on Olivia and her daughter than on Fletcher, who is supposed to be the main character. But all in all, it's a great story about fighting for what you love and getting rewarded for your efforts.
I loved the first book in this series and I wasn't sure the second brothers story could live up to the first. However, I was very happy to have been proven wrong and Fletcher is now my new favorite Dufort brother! He's charming and thoughtful. Playful and protective. He may not have been looking for his perfect match but he definitely found her! This is a must read in the billionaire romance genre.
