I think this play does a really good job at making the characters all innately themselves, and very bold in that way.
I loved the feeling of how frustrated these characters are with love, and how beautiful it is that they can be so frustrated from something. Ended up being pretty heartwarming and definetly makes you root for the characters.
A good story about three sisters with problems with romantic attachments due to their father's treatment of their Mother and them. The story centers around the oldest sister's wedding day. She is a well-known news reporter who is marrying a millionaire. Her youngest sister, Izzy discovers her husband to be is a crook, and wants to stop the marriage.
I read this because it is a play chosen for one of the end of the year projects for my students. The most important thing it has going for it is that all the characters are young so the students do not have to play out of their age-range. The dialogue is good and the relationships interesting.
It almost reads like a fan-fiction, but with original characters. I liked it up until the end, then the credibility went downhill. The situation just seemed so out-there, crazy, and unrealistic. I think this either happen to the playwright or to a friend or family member and she exaggerated it to make it a play.
