Fire up the turbo pumps and blast off in Star Struck! The Cosmic Adventures of Astrid and Stella , second in the full-color young readers graphic novel series from the bestselling creators of Hello!Lucky, Sabrina and Eunice Moyle, perfect for fans of Narwhal and Jelly.
Astrid and Stella are best friends and intergalactic heroes. But sometimes, even this dynamic duo needs a reset. After drifting into a dangerous force field powered by misunderstanding, it will take total teamwork to get back on track!
Once they’ve recovered from that detour, a run-in with a fur-miliar villain and the rescue of an intergalactic pop star are enough to keep things interesting for Astrid, Stella, and their trusty robot sidekick, Bobo. They just need to remember what’s most important—friendship and being true to yourself!
Astrid and Stella just might surprise themselves by learning a few new things along the way, too.
Sabrina Moyle is author of over 21 books for children and adults with her sister and collaborator, illustrator Eunice Moyle, and Co-Founder of the award-winning letterpress greeting card and design studio Hello!Lucky.

Astrid & Stella are two friends who are in space with their robot assistant. They have a series of adventures that involve going to the asteroid belt through the asteroid pants and going to a planet that's a whole amusement park.
To me, this book is absolute chaos. There's snot jokes and there's all sorts of characters that pop up and disappear a few panels later. It's an explosion of color, which I'm sure will appeal to younger audiences. I bet they'll like the snot jokes too. It's just not for me.
There is a few good messages within the chaos. One of the stories is where a young singer is missing and it turns out that she just got so nervous and got stage fright. Astrid and Stella tell her that she doesn't have to be what someone tells her to be, that she can be herself. There's also a short message about making up when you fight.
Dynamic Duo,Astrid and Stella are blasting off again to a new adventure and this time they are star struck, star having a dual meaning,
Astrid and Stella are best friends and intergalactic heroes. They have drifted into a dangerous force field powered by misunderstanding, and fun puns… can someone call whine one one, I’d rather be reading comet books, asteroids shaped like pants with of course, a Big Zipper.
Still it will take total teamwork to get back on track! They must recover from a detour, resulting in a run-in with the evil KITTYWONKUS who just wants to be herself; drink from the toilet, eat rotten fish and lick her own bottom. Finally back on course, but wait, it’s WHIFFNEY SHEARS, the intergalactic pop star Who keeps things interesting for Astrid, Stella, and their trusty robot sidekick, Bobo. They just need to remember what’s most important… friendship and being true to yourself.
This adeventure concludes with a Big party where the currency Mun muns mean nothing but friendship means everything.
The illustrations are out of this world and literally so. Great series for your younger graphic novel enthusiasts. Just silly fun!
This next adventure of Astrid & Stella is packed full of fun and valuable life lessons. From the rewards of friendships to the value of finding yourself.
The illustrations are out of this world 😉 and I LOVED the artwork right down to the littlest details. What a great way to get your reader excited about reading and a sure way to keep them reading.
Star Struck is a perfect way to describe how I felt after reading this book.!!!
Grateful to have received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley & Abrams Kids, Amulet Books.
I received an ARC of this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This early graphic novel is a delightful mix of fun characters and booger jokes. Readers learn about problem solving, self- love, and setting boundaries. Some of the puns will soar right over some kids heads, but I sure enjoyed them.
Three comics stories. First Astrid and Stella begin to lose patience with each other but must work together. Then they go to the happy planet where happiness is mandatory. Then they take a case searching for a missing pop star.
Cute. Lots of snarky Dad jokes and humor. Just not sure if it’s sci-fi enough. Great lessons to be learned like friendship and the importance of just being yourself.
