Wicked werewolves? Golden gods? Mesmerizing mermaids?
You name it, we’ve matched it.
Coming home to an empty apartment used to be the only thing I had to worry about. I even had a pretty normal life, until my sisters and I woke up one day and became the Fates. Now we run a paranormal dating agency where instead of defending criminals I get to play matchmaker.
Well, when I’m not out collecting souls.
I hunt down those whose time is up, along with four gods who are as deadly as they are devoted.
Until an ancient god knocks on my door. Infuriatingly sexy, Than teaches me more than just my powers, and fits right in with my misfit band of death gods.
But some of the old gods don’t like the new power in town. They threaten not only my business, but my family as well.
It’s time to finally take a stand and show the world that we’re here to stay.
I’m the Crone, and this time, I’m not going home alone.
Crone Alone is a fast burn mfmmmm paranormal reverse harem novel that features over-the-top protective men and a woman who can put them in their place. While each book in the Threadline Agency world can be enjoyed separately, they are best enjoyed together and feature overlapping characters. This novel features adult content and steamy scenes suitable for mature audiences.
Fun ending to this trilogy. Steamy, RH, no m/m, morally grey/dark characters. Unapologetically strong female lead who submits to no one. Flawed but in charge. Aggressive relationships and steam. They are all death gods but very varied in their personalities.
I would have liked the relationships to be explored more but that would probably require this to have a 2nd part. Each book in this series had a very unique dynamic to the relationships and some unique characters.
I need to go back to read "Tied to the Wolves" an offshoot novella/novel that takes place on the timeline before this book. Looks interesting but didn't need to be read before this book. This is a fun world the author has created and I would love to read more supernatural RH style books that they might create.
DNF This is the third book in series of interconnected standalones and i was looking forward to reading about the last sister, but you are thrown in in the middle of her already existing relationships and I read romance so I can see people falling in love. Also I've read the previous 2 books and am still confused about worldbuilding
This was a great series. Each sister was unique but Mara was by far the most interesting. Confident, caring but ruthless and a take no crap attitude from anyone she was by far my favorite. Her men were also something else. All death gods but different. I loved the way they adored her. This was also the sexiest of the 3 books in my opinion. The banter, the sexy times and the wrapped up plot made this a hard to put down read!
I have loved this series and this one was my favorite! Mara is a complete badass and I loved every second of it! She’s a strong FMC who goes after what she wants and isn’t wishy washy in her feelings. I also loved her men! They were all unique while still all being her “death gods”. The spice is 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🥵 and Chloe wrapped up the series perfectly! Highly recommend this one and the entire trilogy!
Excellent finish to the Threadline trilogy! Mara, the Crone, is a Death goddess and like certainly does attract like! Every death god is drawn to her and her own little harem starts forming from them. This gives us the final showdown with not only Zeus, but also a nice little confrontation with the Fates of Old. Absolutely loved it! 💜
It was so great to see the "Crone" get her hea and her mates chefs kiss. She was truly a bad ass with a heart of gold. I love that humans may get to know about the supernatural world. I can not wait for the spin-off of this series, and I hope that we see a human get their hea soon.
