Best 1.99 spent!
I picked this up an a Kindle deal, without much of any reviews, so I didn't have my hope to high. Man, was I pleasantly surprised! The books were well-written, with hot steamy scenes, delightful men, and multi-faceted women. All 3 books in this set were set in the world of professional athletes, with the first 2 in football with some minor character overlap, while the 3rd was in baseball. I am, at best, a casual sports fan. The books had some good & interesting details on what lfe is like as a pro. The 2nd book was especially awesome as it's premise was the first female NFL player (kicker) and the different pressures she faced, with a great romance written around it. It felt very thoughtfully written, and definitely made me think a lot. Will definitely look for more books by this author!
