Awakening among the remains of a smoking forest, panic sweeps through the boy.
All he knows is he does not belong. Not to the tribe whose lifeless bodies adorn the forest floor, or to the hard-eyed, fur clad warriors that surround him.
All he knows is that he hates the red-haired beast who gloats in his face.
In this last entry in The Ancestors Saga, follow Khalvir as he journeys from a frightened lost boy with no story, to becoming one of the most feared warriors on the prehistoric plains; a path that will ultimately lead him to love, loss and the past he thought gone forever.
Possible spoiler alert but not a biggie one). This is an excellent add on to the original series and I’m loving it. Although some cross overs I feel clash with the earlier books including when the see the size of the eagle tribe as in an earlier book they claimed to be unaware they had grown since the original massacre. So that was annoying but as it added another story line I accepted it. Personally I’d have made as Eldrax ignored bothering the eagle tribe as he had decided they were all but dead. But that’s just me. But on the whole a worthy read.
I am utterly in love with lori holmes & have quickly got through her collection, i was gripped from the very first page, I've waited about 2-3 months to read this & it did not disappoint! 🥰🥰 now to wait for the next ones 😭😭
Been such a good collection of books I just wonder how long I got to wait to read the next one it makes you hungry to read reading well into the night when you should be asleep
I liked it, even if I knew about some of the story from her other books, the author still made me want to find out more about the main character and the suspense was definitely there. Hard to put down the book
Didn't think it would be as compelling as the first series But, it does not disappoint. I was only disappointed that I could not continue reading the trilogy.
