The Legacy of the Howard Witches: Protect the Power Source - Protect the Bloodline by Bringing New Witches into the World - Don't Expect to Live Long Enough to Meet Your Grandchildren...
** We Witches Three is the Demon Isle Witches YA Friendly Adaptation and includes slow burn romances that fade to black...
Tourists want to believe the supernatural is real and The Demon Isle delivers--from the moment they step off the ferry and land on the nostalgia inducing, glowy lanterned streets straight off the pages of yesteryear, or wander down foggy cobblestone sidewalks lined with fortune tellers and magic shops or take one of the haunted tours of the Isle in hopes of catching a glimpse of some mythical creature belonging to a fantasy world.
Ghosts, vampires, werewolves, faeries, mermaids--the sightings are endless and it's the perfect cover. Because while tourists bask in the safety and delight of the possibility, the supernatural community is not only real, but thriving, and hiding right under the noses of tourists immersing themselves in the fantasy.
The locals know the truth. They know the dangers that lurk around dark alleys and foggy beaches. But they also know who to turn to if they need help.
The Howard Witches. They've been protecting The Demon Isle and its inhabitants for many generations.
However, there were once generous numbers of witches fulfilling this duty, whereas today, there are only three witch siblings still alive, which makes balancing love, life, and duty, nearly impossible.
Melinda, the youngest, who has prophetic dreams of people about to die. Michael, the middle child, and an empath and death reader. Charlie, cursed with a werewolf bite and the eldest of the siblings. William, an aged vampire, longtime family friend and mentor to them all.
Together, they protect The Demon Isle from non-stop supernatural trouble seeking to control a hidden source of powerful magic. But when the local sheriff calls them in desperate need of help solving a murder, and Melinda has a prophetic dream that could destroy the life of one of her brothers--the two cases intertwine and will forever change the lives of the Howard Witches...

Three siblings protect their island home from evil supernatural beings. These books are well written and suspenseful. This is obviously a series with a long story arc, as many questions go unanswered. Regardless, this book set is an entertaining read.
Had good characters, original, good world building, action, magic, drama, romance and decent battles. Most was very good except for a few areas like condemning William, when it could have been solved immediately and spelling and grammar errors that sort of threw me off. Still a good read that I for the most part enjoyedm
I got confused. I started reading and kept thing "I know this story. I know these characters." I searched my list and thought "I don't have that title. I don't have that author."
I finally found "Wicked Good Witches" by Ruby Raine. Text identical. Websites don't cross-reference.
I've dropped a star due to duplication.
[Goodreads review Wicked Good Witches 17 Jul 2020] The Howards are a family of witches protecting the magic of Demon Isle - there are shapeshifters, mermaids, a vampire and a guardian involved in their lives. They're also young adults with complicated love lives. A good read."
The story is good and well written. The only problem is that it leaves you hanging in the middle of the story so that you have to buy more books to get an ending. I REALLY hate that.
A witch family to protect the Isles, with a vampire helping. Charlie has been bitten by a werewolf, he hasn't fully changed yet. But some day he will have to face the werewolf who bite him. Michael has the gift of clairvoyance, he can feel other peoples emotions. Melinda , the youngest, has prophetic dreams of people about to die. The Howard witches have been protecting the Demon Isles and it's inhabitants for many generations, now there are only three Howard's left. Can they still keep everyone safe?
My thoughts pretty much echo the other reviews. I enjoyed the story and it was interesting enough to keep me turning the pages. But I have to agree with the others, it wasn’t well written. I am surprised the editor didn’t do a better job. All that head hopping stalled the story. You can’t change the POV in the middle of a paragraph. It created so much confusion as to who was talking. Unfortunately, this will keep me from reading the other two books in the series. Which is really too bad since it had a good storyline.
Wow. A fantastic start to the series. I was hook from the first book and I read all three books. Each one of them had me wanting to read more to find out what happened next. The first book was great, the second one was more interesting, but I felt mad at Eva. What she did shocked me and I could believe what I read. The third book was even more interesting.
The story of the Howard’s will continue to interest me and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
DNF at 24% after discovering that supposedly 2 different authors wrote the same series. Bad editing, grammar, and all. I don't know who the original author is, and don't care enough to find out.
Either, someone is a plagiarist, or someone is putting their books out under different titles, authors to game the system. Either way, I'm done with both authors.
Edit to add: Wicked Good Witches by Ruby Raine is the other "author".
This was a very good book. Now I will have to get the next two to see how it ends! This first book had it all. Witches, vampire, mermaids, werewolf, and yes, even mermaids! Action packed. Kept my interest. Now I get why Goodreads gives books away free, you have to get the next book to see how it ends!
Loved these 3 books in this series... Well written great stories... Love the Witches protecting the Demon Isle and the Vampire protecting the Witches... Leaves you wanting more at the end of the third book... Some swearing but not too much... Would recommend to teens and adults alike... 5 Stars 😄
This book was different than the books I usually read. Starting with the way it is structured: there are no chapter's and character POV switch back and forth without warning from paragraph to paragraph. But once I accepted this unusual layout I truly liked the storyline and the characters. Yes parts of the plot were predictable and nevertheless I enjoyed this book.
Drags. Predictable. The whole romance similarities between siblings relationships is obvious and makes you question if the author hasn't a clue about variety. He wants her, she wants him but obstacle, obstacle. Boring! Magic isn't bad. Could use more of it though. Won't bother with rest of series.
But still a good story and definitely has a cliffhanger of an ending. Steamy without being too descriptive. These books flew together so I actually thought it was one book.
Gives you a good intro to the three sibling witches. You learn of their protection for the island, and their love lives. Of course their is action as evil attempts to take over.
It was severely lacking detail and had not great editing, but the idea of it was great! It could be really confusing to read at times in 3rd person because the characters jumped all over the place and it was hard to keep track of who was feeling what.
Magic heart break love and friendship...this book has it all. Myself I prefer stand alone books but for those wanting a great read that carries on this book will s perfect.
Three books in one filled with super natural creatures and magic. Three siblings that have a vampire guardian and lost parents. It’s full of excitement and a real page turner.
Loved this introduction to the isle of witches a vampire and other supernatural creatures love loss and honour can't wait to read to next in the series
This series was right up my alley. Although... I didn't realize there were 14 books. Tempted. Nice conclusion. Still some unanswered questions... where a cliffhanger. Will do book 4.
