Demon: A Why Choose Academy Fantasy Romance

Rate this book
I've caused havoc - I've been wicked. In fact, one might even say I've been the Queen of all things wicked and wonderful. Unfortunately, that means I've lost everyone. Well, almost everyone. My cousin could never leave me; she promised she would stay forever and offer me the things I needed to survive.

Carrie swore on Zephyr himself that she could grant me power and vengeance against this dark world and the people that rule it, and I know she can deliver on her promises. She will make me powerful, and unbreakable and give me the magic to tear those who stand against me to ash. The only catch is that I have to be strong enough to do it, which I don't know if I am...

My birth family is nothing but a thorn in my side, hellbent on taking away the last shred of happiness I have and I honestly don't know if I can survive them without a change. I guess it helps the original bad boy, a Witch with a tortured soul and a smile to die for, is more than happy to help me learn how.
He promised he would help me, he said he could make me the bad*ss Carrie told me I could be. And in return, all I have to do is help him find a way to end his curse.
I guess that's easy said than done, but there is nothing I won't do to get back at those who hurt me or to claw my way out of the ashes and to the top of the world just so I can set it on fire...

I'm Lucifer - f*cking - Darklight baby, and you best believe I am more than a match for my namesake. It's in my DNA to be a demon; I am a Darklight after all...

This story follows the life and death of seventeen-year-old Lucifer Nox as she is discovered in the Mortal Realm and brought back home to an Other Realm Fae country called Marda, against her wishes, where her birth parents rule as King and Queen. It is a tale of loss, love, strength, and figuring out who you are along the way.

The Changeling series can be read as a stand-alone series, you are not required to read Superno Academy first.
There are minor spoilers of hints for a couple of character's class types in the Superno series if you read this one first, but again, nothing serious as Superno is set in the future to this series, and the main characters are mentioned but not the same as this series and the answer is not actually given it is just hinted. It is RH, fantasy, fated mates, and has morally grey characters. There is a HEA for the characters left at the end.

Well Tierney has done it again this book is incredible! The story is amazing as always It’s well written and fast pace it keep me hooked from start to finish! I love all the mayhem and chaos that Lucifer and her group of sexy men get up to in the second book. The spicy scenes are just smoking hot 🔥🥵Plus the addition characters we get this book are just perfect and add so much the storyline. I also love that we get little bombshell/secrets linkings into the superno series! I cannot wait for the final book in the series!!
I highly recommend this book if you love a great storyline with massive amount of detail to the characters and world build plus a strong FMC and a group of sexy men with touch her and you die vibes. This book for you!!

This series just keeps on getting better and better. There are still so many questions i have, Tierney is keeping me hooked on this series. We have new characters in this book who add to this story, the world gets so much bigger. Our fmc has a lot going on and thankfully she has her men who will always come and save her no matter what. You can tell her childhood left a lot of trauma that at the forefront you don't really know but the more you reead the more you can see how it affected her and then affects the choices she is making today. The guys are delicious, the perfect mix for the devil herself. When they finally give in to their feelings Ugh yes please!!!!!

Let's go and read the next one!

My favourite book in this series by far!!!

Tierney continues to make absolute masterpieces with the 2nd book in this series.
From start to finish they book kept me absolutely hooked, desperate to find out what was going to happen next in the story.
The plot is amazing between lucifer and the other characters and just *chefs kisses* to the spice along the way
It had me hating characters and loving new ones while rooting for some of the main ones.
Zade continues to be my favourite character in these books.
I am already desperate to get my hand on the next book.
This series is a must read.

Book Two in the Changling series.

Lucifer Nox tells her story, with added POV's from those important to her, in a way that makes the reader really feel like you are seeing the 'Other World' (Other World is the main setting), and the story point of view because not only is Lucifer an amazing baddass FMC but she is just as vulnerable as anyone else while she copes with her dyslexia, that makes her really relatable.

Book Two is slower paced then Book One but this allows the reader a better understanding of all the characters, some of which you'll love and others to hate.

Eagerly awaiting the next book.

*dissolving into a puddle of happiness and stress and tears*

Send help! This addition to the Other Realm books was amazing. The world building and complexity brought in by the new characters, and the nonstop tension was perfect!
Getting a glimpse into Carrisa Darklight’s mind and seeing the schemes unfold is an element I really wasn’t expecting but I can’t wait to see more.
After everything that happened at the end of Deviant, I’m glad we got to have Lucifer and the boys together again! I’m excited to see what Tierney gives us in the third and final Changeling book—it’s gonna be intense!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️

“Watching Zade torture people for me shouldn’t have been fun but it was. There was something delightful about seeing a man go utterly dark for you, and the schmex we had afterwards was mind-blowing. Turned out I was into having people unalived for me. Like a lot.”

Lucifer’s story continues in this second installment of the Changeling series. Truths have come to light that changed my initial thoughts on her family dynamics. Subterfuge and betrayal abound while she learns to shift and fight. This ends on a major cliffhanger. As always: CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!!

This book was everything I wanted and then some! I am never disappointed by Lucifer and her adventures, although the boys she causes chaos with don't hurt either. ;)

What can I say? Tierney has a knack for making you love the ones you didn't think you really cared about and making you hate the ones you were suspicious of even more than when you started. Honestly, getting my thoughts in order about this particular book is a struggle, because I just loved everything about it!

10/10 would read again
10/10 would recommend (I already have to a friend or two)

This book was amazing !!!
Just like all her other books.
It just hit all the feels and i flew through this book.
I absofreakinglutly love lucy and her boys.
It kinda reminded me a little of peter pan(nikki st crow version) at some point.
The romance is so well set up and has villains that you just love to hate.
And has a cliffhanger ending(wich i would take a point for if it didn't make me this happy and excited and terrified al at once)

i got an arc copy of this book and loved the continuation of the story, and how things are all coming together, especially with the snippets of superno academy teasers in it too. wont post more details as I don't want to spoil, but loved it.
