For me, that meant I have always wanted to be a writer. In 2013, I made it happen when I discovered the new world of self-publishing.
I love to write – there’s almost nothing I’d rather be doing. I still love reading, but writing is more active and satisfying. I can honestly say I will never stop. After all this time, it’s who I am.
I began my career in one genre, but now I’m exploring others. I will experiment with different pen names and new personas as I go, but I’ll always be the same person, the same writer, who loves the craft and the people who make it possible.
The was a great start to the series. A somewhat reserved wife starts writing erotica as her career is being derailed.
She has little sexual experience so, following a friend's advice, she approaches her husband about the type of porn he enjoys and decides to write to please him.
From there things progress and they both have to struggle with new desires, opportunity and reality.
Good characters, good story progression and a whole lot of my favorite story beats.
This may be my first Lena White story, been reading a lot of different authors this year, and this was a very promising introduction.
There's four more books in this series and it may tread into areas I'm not comfortable with or don't enjoy, but this book was great.
Minimal sph and deception, no humiliation or cruelty.
DNF at 70% The book was 4 stars until the interview with the bull, where a couple of things really put me off. First, the bull was talking about his previous wild women. One hinted at bestiality. NO. The bulls said that was too kinky for him. ...There was no reason the author needed to mention that as an example.
Second, the bull (still talking about his past and what gets him going) says he gets off when the woman uses the "N-word". But again, the author went too far. It was spelled out numerous times (never shortened) in a few pages. This book was released last year. There's zero reasons to use that word.
Well written story of an erotica author who wants to try interracial sex to add real experience to her writing. Good character building for the husband and wife, and for the black man who leads the action. Recommended.
Don't porridge this book. I didn't have high expectations. The more I read, the more I knew I couldn't put it down until I got to the end. I've never read this author before, but I'm going to look for her next one NOW!
Such a filthy take! With all the racial slurs it really spells out the fascination with the black bulls and the beautiful white women! It’s almost embarrassing to be so turned on by it; but I guess that’s the attraction! The cover is perfect too! Exactly what one would picture!
Very well written story and it keeps your interest so that you don’t want to stop. Unfortunately it’s another woman that once she gets going seems to only think about herself. She admits that she’s lied by omission to her husband. Takes him to meet her eventual BBC and then afterwards shows him all the correspondence that set it up.
Does she really want a child by this man? Would she discuss it with her husband first or only after she’s pregnant?
There’s so much further that this story could go. Where might this couple end up? Domineering wife with a husband that she breaks and minimally sissifies? Or might he get disgusted and end up leaving her? Finally is it possible that she starts to realize she might be going to far and pulls back to save her marriage. All of this is left out there unanswered?
A great story with a good lead up to the action, telling how things progress slowly at first until the decision to try involving another man is made. Narration is good and adds to the story.
However, I didn't enjoy the constant use of the N-word which I thought was totally unnecessary and the black bull's dialogue just seemed like he was trying to say the crudest things possible and for me it spoiled the action which was otherwise very enjoyable.
I received a free copy of this book at my request and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
