Rate this book
The Berdache – Synopsis - Ammiel (Ammy) McLellan is a middle aged bi- gendered person, born of mixed sexuality/gender, who embraces Native American spiritual beliefs and shamanic practice. Has a visitation from a Native Spirit, who directs Ammiel to seek a path of teaching and study with the Priests and Nuns in the monasterial experience to share the joy of Spirit! The Friars will not take Ammy because “he’s too female” and the good Sisters won’t that Ammy because “she’s to male.” This story is an exploration of spirit, doctrine, and a person with three birth certificates!
