On a beautiful holiday island, Becky and her friends make an awful discovery - a dead body beneath a cliff. Did the man fall, or was it murder? Becky can't stop thinking about it. When she learns the dead man's name, she wonders if this death could be linked to a murder that happened many years ago. Becky is determined to find out. But as she gets closer to the answer, she finds she's getting into great danger herself.
Honestly, ai don’t like the 📚 book as I’d imagined more interesting story reading the title. The 📖 book is about a murder. There are 3 girls having a holiday in West End and also 2 boys near them. They were neighbors. The girl named as Becky found out a dead body on the rocks. The she started to find information about the murder and found out thar the murder was Richard’s(her neighbor) granddad known as Mr. Scanlon, who had killed Lizzie in 1961.And due to Lizzie’s sister Becky got to know all the truth about the murder.
I loved this but fuck the ending i was rooting for Richard like he's so hot and gentle and nice but the author HAD to give us that shitty half assed ending .
Also, this had the potential to be an amazing novel if only it were longer and had a better ending :(
Idgaf in my head Richard and Becky found their way back to each other and got together .
Q3:if I could change the setting of the story,I would like to change the ending.Although Mr.Scanlon had murder Mr. Newman,Newman didn't die yet,and he recover from the illness and forgive Scanlon's guilty.Richard will fall in love with Becky and they'll get married.I'd like to make those changes because it will be a happy ending for those characters, the case hadn't been found out for years so just let it pass away and live in a peacful world.
Q10: As I read today, the whole story surprised me because it happened in a small town and day by day,the story seemed to be more mysterious. At the first time, when I saw the title,I thought that would be a love story but it wasn't.The main character,Becky, acts like a detective, she had discovered the murderer by her own,and she's intelligent and courageous.
