A fantastic cookbook for affordability of meals, practicality, and ease of use. The basics are spelled out over several pages in the beginning of the book along with helpful measurements, and there's nutrition information in there, too. Tips, hints, and tricks also appear throughout the book, and all of the advice is true to life. Highly recommend!

It has some good recipes, but it doesn't seem to have been written with college students in mind despite the title. How many college students have things like buttermilk and apple pie filling in their kitchens? Probably not very many, if any at all. Also, there aren't any pictures of the food.
