You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. Twilight ventured into an enemy territory to find the boy the boy whom she helped on a whim five years ago and discovered something mystifying about his disappearance.
Jessica E. Larsen is a Filipina writer based in Spain. As of May 2021, she decided to only write Filipino stories and publish her English stories under Jessie Winterspring.
More than anything though, she devours romance like an addict who needs drugs. This can be seen a lot in her writing.
She loves spending time reading and falling in love with fictional characters. Enjoy watching Japanese anime while eating noodles with chopsticks and drool at the 80s and 90s music videos.
She lives near the Mediterranean coast with her husband and mischievous but adorable son, where she gazed to the ocean and scheme how to torment annoying goody-two-shoes or straight-out murder bitchy exes.
I was shocked at how well the main character, Twilight, was developed so well in such a short story. You really feel how she views herself, and you empathize with those feelings of unworthiness, yet Ellio loves her anyway.
Great quick read that can be finished during a short break!
I only read books that pique my interest. And I’m glad I picked this one because I love how the story turned out. If you love short stories with a touch of romance and adventure, this one’s for you.
