Arcane Academy for the Gifted
I killed a monster and now I have magic.
But then I died, too. I figured that was the end, but a mysterious group of strangers brought me back to life.

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.
Genre: Isekai harem where MC is transported to a wizard school where there are at least 10 times more women than men
Power dynamics in harem: The MC is in charge, the girls are vying for his favor.
Explicit/adult material: Explicit. Well written.
Summary:
Jason Kade was having a boring college class when a magic suddenly appears out of a portal. Fighting for his life he suddenly feel an internal power and defeats the monster with his last breath.
He is ressurected and wakes up in a school of powerful druid mages. Mostly women. And is invited to join the school and join the druids in their conflict with the chaos mages that caused the attack on his earth class room.
Narrators
Voice diversity: Characters have their own easily followed voices.
Pacing and intonation: Pacing and intonation supports the writing perfectly and emerges you completely in the story
Sex scenes: Well done.
Overall: 4 / 5 stars.

- It is interesting with a harem story in a society where harems are societally accepted, expected even
- Despite this the MC does not rush into adding a ton of girls into his harem, but gets to know the girls and add women he has a connection with

Decent storyline but too many excuses to describe sex
The storyline is interesting and has potential but too many sex scenes, which dont add to the narrative. The supporting characters dont feel real. Peony & Daphne had interest in the MC, but have backed off for no discernable reason. In addition, the danger they are in from a weakened dimensional vail could be lessened by dual cultivating with Ashlee and the others, yet Jax and Genesis are willing wait a few weeks for Ashlee.... Really?
All said, this book is just ok, but it does have potential for iseki cultivation, with offensive and defensive magic, interdimensional conflict and war between chaos and wild magic users. Its a harem series, so sex is expected, but 4 or 5 scenes in 200 pages is overkill. The dual cultivation opened up telepathy but l would expect some other magic crossover, especially when other skills are added via additional lovers.

As I'm sure most are aware thus author writes fantastic adult fantasy stories!!! Plenty of interesting characters, unique magic and adult fantasy activities throughout the whole story!!!! I can't wait for another in this series!!!! If you haven't read this authors work,do yourself a favor and do so!!!!

In MCs class room a Monster appears - he fights against it and kills it but dies. He wakes up in anohter world resurrected by some magicians that have a magic school there.
The MC is a) one of the very few man there, b) one of the most powerful magicians...
Some sex, some action, some unrealistic characters and every girl is hot for the MC... Made it all way too easy for the MC.

Best he's done so far
Standard academy harem novel, but better written than most, and MUCH better edited than usual. I am waiting on the next novel with anticipation, something that couldn't be said about his earlier works. Recommended.

A fun read :-)
I really had fun reading this book. What I liked about this book was the gender neutral quality of the book. Neither male nor female were really dominant in the story. Looking forward to the next story.

Great read
There were some grammar issues, but didn't stop the story flow. Be interesting when he finally "gets" more girls. I like viv! I hope the spies are stopped for now, he hasn't been there a year!

Fun new story
This is a fun new story from Jack Porter. Jaxen Cade is a regular guy college student who is in the wrong place at the wrong time and winds up dead for his trouble. And that's just the beginning of his troubles.
