My love life, apparently. Now I'm on the run with Cyrus, Sam, and Alex, and that's not even accounting for the fact that I'm pregnant—with twins—and my overbearing mother is along for the ride.
Oh, and did I mention I found out Zeus is my father? Yeah, that Zeus. Turns out Cameron's not the only one who's been hunting me down. And I might have to rely on my not-so-absent dad to protect me from the relentless vampire who's probably the father of my children.
Can you get a bulk discount on paternity tests? Because I'm going to need around half a dozen to sort this shit out.
I loved the first book, second book was okay. This book manages to be both OTT ridiculous and incredibly dull simultaneously. Chase entering Olympus is my cue to exit. I’ve lost confidence in where this story is going and how it will play out.
A few editing issues. In Chapter 1, “negging” and “negged” is used instead of “nag”. In Chapter 5, Sam is referred to as Alex… if you are going to have 5 MCs, please try not to mix them up, as I likely already am mixed up enough.
And what on earth is going on with this cover? The first one was amazing. This is awful, made worse by a flesh coloured turtleneck.
Don't have time , must read next book! Being on the run from a demon cat. While the manifestation of Celestial Life's Blood, is riding shotgun are just the tip of Chase's problems. Especially when his overbearing father shows up. No wonder his mother hide from him.
This book took an interesting turn that I wasn’t sure I would like. I did end up enjoying the story overall and I definitely want to read book 4 as this one ends on a killer cliffhanger!
Chase gets into all kinds of trouble in this book again but I loved seeing his relationship grow with his boys. Cyrus is amazing and he’s still at the top as my favourite. Then Sam as he’s just such a golden retriever. Alex is in third and he’s slowly starting to grow on me. Cameron is in last but I have a feeling he’s not going to stay there long. I can’t wait to read about him in then next book.
This series absolutely needs to be read in order to fully understand everything. If you are interested in an all male reverse harem with vampires, omega pregnancies, magic, Greek gods, and crazy hunters then absolutely check this series out!!
Ok so, like the other two books before this, the story picks up exactly where it left off previously.
Chase the demigod (cause being a pregnant witch omega godbearer dude wasn't enough) and three of his paladins are on the run because the 4th paladin wanted to kill the babies to make sure Ichor could still take over Chase's body.
Spoilers ahead, be warned. I cannot do this story credit without going into details.
Needless to say, you have to read the other books before this one.
So they get to Romania and hide out there for awhile. Things are going ok until Cameron, the bad twin, has the cult do a summoning spell to find out where they are. That causes Chase to become frozen literally and Zeus, his father, grabs him and he ends up in Olympus where he finds out he is going to be given to the highest bidder which includes his own godly family members. His uncles and brother want a piece of that.
The paladins use a male omega witch to do their own summoning and get Chase back.
Side note, I want to know more about this new omega.
Because the summoning did not work, Cameron makes a deal with Thenatos and Zeus to transfer Ichor into Sarah. Remember her from the first book? Yea, I still hate her.
Anyways the new Ichor and Cameron are getting ready to leave when Cameron sees Thenatos touching Chase and gets all territorial.
Ichor gets sent back to earth and Chase and Cameron escape via the river Styx and petting a Cerberus. No, I'm not kidding.
Once they get back to the town where this all started, Cameron still chooses Ichor and the others go into hiding.
For some stupid reason, Chase still wants Cameron and decides to do a little astral projection, as one does, to save Cameron, only to have Ichor pop up and the book ends.
My only question is how long until I get a conclusion to this???
A complimentary copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoy this series. I was NOT expecting the series to continue beyond this story, but it's not done, which is disappointing, BUT, I am happy to see these characters again.
Honestly, not much happens in this book - just more of the same from the previous books. Chase is still prego, the bad guys (and girl God) are still after him and his rag tag team of misfits. Cameron is still an enigma, though I knew his feelings ran deeper for Chase than previously known. Alex is now some kind of Hell Dog (or is it a cat?), Chase has thawed to Alex and tolerates him, though it's moving more towards actually happy he is around. Sam is still the friend who Chase occasionally has sex with, though that relationship just is off for me because they WERE friends for so long and in NO WAY had THAT kind of relationship. Yes, yes, I know friendships can grow into more but the way this one evolved has not yet worked for me 100%. Then there is Cyrus - sigh (I sighed for Cameron too, FYI). Cyrus has really turned around as a character and is protecting Chase from just about everyone and it no longer has anything to do with him being the vessel or host (or whatever) for his God. Cyrus has come to realize that the deity he has been worshiping for all these centuries isn't all she's cracked up to be. Yeah, I could have told him that, lol.
This installment does move the story arc along and I am happy with how things are going, just wish I could read them all at once. I love LCs writing style, and Chases's snark is SOOOO my jam. I am super excited to continue this series and hope it comes soon.
4 stars because again, nothing really happens (I mean stuff happens, but not STUFF), and the ending was very abrupt. I couldn't believe it when the story ended. Not a cliffhanger, just it was over. :(
My battle with sleep was lost but guess what I had for breakfast... Yes! I barely washed my face and I'm already stuck in Winterhaven's supernatural world. Dammit! This is like Percy Jackson on period. With as much adventure and surprises but with more bitchiness, connivance, carnal pleasure, and definitely 4 times the love interest. 🤭😍
Everything's starting to calm down until that jerk ruined it. I wanna strangle him so bad! Sir, you better start putting things to right. You have so much groveling to do and you deserve more of Chase's vengeance than the rest of the paladins.
Anyway, this installment took a lot of twists and freshly squeezed betrayals (if you think they ran out of it, you're wrong) that my blood spiked so early in the morning. But I can't very well throw my device so, yes, I will not take the bait. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm dreading Book 4 because after that, I will have to wait for 2 months until Book 5. But I am a strong girl so I'll wear my big panties on and just get on with it.
I really do not want to lower the rating because I like this omegaverse version M M and I like Chase, but....2 or 1.5 ⭐️ explained much?
I was excited in the beginning when I knew that this book was published sooner than I expected because I started Book 2 a few days before this one was published. Also, I did not expect that there will be another book in this series. It was a shock and at the end of the book I was like "umm is that it??? What? — there are still unfinished storylines and many plot holes in it, no wonder there will be next book coming.
Dislikes: ➊The POV, it still confusing and few chapter still the same. The editor needs truly pay attention to this one. Because it is annoying and it confusing to the reader whose chapter is this one supposed to be especially if they did the skimming. ➋The God or Demigod in this storyline, Ummm what can I say about this? It doesn't make sense at all. Ok, Mr. Davis, I appreciate you trying to bring this one up but why did you suddenly put this semi-demigod in the storyline? I understood the name of the series but how it falls into the flow of the storyline just did not click the way it was supposed to. I cannot bear it and laugh all the way TBH when I read these parts. ➌Fast Pace, super duper fast enough for book 3. I finished it in 2 days if I'm not mistaken. Not because I like it that much but I do the skimming in certain part because some part did not fit and just annoys me. I do not know what plans Mr. David has for books 3 to book 4. But, I was expecting more explanation on this book, especially about: ①Sarah's disappearance and her feeling of being a vessel in the first place ②Sarah's story behind why she has so suddenly become a vessel ③I do know that Chase is a demigod but how did Igor choose him as a vessel instead of Sarah back then? ④The story between Zeus and Denis (Chase's mother) at least gives me a detailed explanation ⑤How could Denise accept the fact that her only son is who he is when she was running from Zeus her whole life? Nonsense ➍ Chase's characteristic on forgiveness, it was a laughing matter when it comes to his forgiveness towards those three: Cyrus, Alex, and Sam. But he couldn't just accept Cameron because what?
Overall, I do want some answer in the next book. So, I would probably continue this story lol
This picks up immediately after the last book and ends on a cliffhanger, so this is not a standalone--read the books in order.
There is more action and more plot development. We meet Zeus and a few other gods of Olympus, Ichor is back, Sarah is back, there's betrayal somewhere and people are confused on where loyalties lie.
I love that everyone keeps giving Alex grief and there continues to be groveling. Admittedly, I really hated his character but he's definitely gotten a little better in this book, especially after a certain transformation. I may have to reread the beginning of Book 1 though because I don't remember him being so dumb; he seemed like the aloof/indifferent but smart character in the beginning before betraying Chase, so I don't get how Chase liked/dated someone like the Alex that we've seen in these past 3 books.
There's some small details which I'd have liked added to remind us that Chase is an omega (besides being pregnant) like his self-lubricating booty, because I don't remember the guys using any lube. I think mentioning his slick during their smut and group scenes would've made it hotter.
Can't wait for Book 4 ahhhhhh. So many more secrets came to light and more things are revealed.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by the author.
Unhinged GAY Twilight on DRUGS is back & I'm here for it!! The third book in the series is as BONKERS as the previous ones and I devoured it in less than a day. It feels like a middle book - which makes sense since book 4 will be the final one and I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT!!!
No, that wasn't true. Betrayal implied he had ever been more than an enemy in the first place. Of all the sins Cameron had committed, deception wasn't one of them."
This series man. It's so fast paced and addictive! I devour the pages as quickly as I can because I can't wait to see what's going to happen next. Been aWhile since I've had a series suck me in so hard. I love that we get all the MCs POV. It's fascinating being inside some of their heads, Camerons especially. His mind is constantly at war with itself and his instincts.
Things are heating up in Blue Blood. New enemies new allies. I'm still on the fence about trusting anyone, even in the harem, but I'm now leaning more toward their side after finishing the book. It ends on another cliffhanger which makes me want to shout because I want the next one now damnit! You'll find me not so patiently waiting for book 4. 😌
dnfed @ 68%.. I can’t do it anymore brah. there’s bad fanfiction and then there’s this. the first book was fine, the second one was alright albeit they lost the plot a few times. BUT THIS ONE??? the author was just throwing out anything and everything and hoping it stuck. the writing didn’t just go downhill it crashed. at a certain point the main character started feelin like an oc. these last two books make the first one feel like a masterpiece.
book so ass it pissed me off .. maybe in two years ill read the last two books idk but until then i never want to see this author or these ai dupe covers ever again FUCK MPREG AND THESE CATFISH ASS REVIEWS YOU NIGGAS NEED TO GET SERIOUS
I am so addicted to this series! Each book has been unique in its story and character approach, but the way all the guys are changing and growing closer is consistent and the plot keeps getting more exciting! I do not want to post anything that gives too much away, but I will say that my tune is slowly changing from my previous review about how I feel about Cameron! Let's see how Chase and the guys feel! Cannot wait for the final book because we get a bit of a cliffy here!
Blue Blood is the third Godbearer book in the series. Chase is in the run with Cyrus, Sam and Alex. Trying to stay one step ahead of Cameron and Chase’s dad, Zeus. I flove the world building in this story line. The pacing is fast and addictive! I cannot get enough of this series. I’ve had a passionate dislike for Alex but he surprised me with the stunt he pulled and his loyalty to Chase. I’m so invested in Chase and his men surviving. I really want someone to take out Ichor and Sarah!!! Overall, a fantastic read and was a fantastic third look into the series. Well-developed character, well written with pacing that flowed!
whY!?
This series is going to kill me…I am so deeply invested in the ultimate outcome of this series that it isn’t funny. Chase has to catch a break at some point. Now not only are Ichor and Cameron after him, but Zeus and the other gods of Olympus are too. I am still enjoying this series and the occasional point of view from Cameron keeps me from absolutely hating him. I wonder how many books there are going to be in this series because I am ready to see someone kick Ichor and Sarah the backstabber’s but. Don’t read this one if you haven’t read the other two because it will keep you way too confused otherwise.
So.. sadly my ratings are dropping with this series. From a fast paced, great story with Chase being sarcastic and a really interesting character, to the next two books loosing a bit of momentum as we go… Cameron and his betrayal in the last book made it interesting. Not to have all Chase’s Paladin’s falling in love quite so easily.
Ichor was more interesting when she had a voice inside of Chase. Now she’s just an enemy that needs destroying.
I think I feel the author kind of left it.. then thought well I Better finish it and get it published. So editing wasn’t on the list and it felt rushed.
I’m still keen enough to see how it ends.. let’s hope it will be in book 4! The ending is a cliffhanger and the worst kind. The type that just stops …. And leaves you frustrated rather than excited by the next instalment.
Chase still has my affection.. his character has remained true and Strong enough to carry the book. But the plot was weak and should really have been developed more.. Chase’s brother, his father the world of Olympus..all had potential but were just two dimensional with no character depth or enough time there to make it really matter. Same really as with his harem. Even though we get their pov. I don’t feel Much for them. I like them enough, but Cameron at least has some interesting moral quandary and so more interesting to read.
Oh well. It read fast enough and I didn’t DnF! So let’s hope for better at the finish line!
Ugh. I don’t understand how a story could have so much going on and yet nothing happens. I’m having such a hard time with this. I’m not connecting to any of the characters and I do not feel a love connection. Chase, understandably, is weary but also in love with the guys? But treats Alex like shit—they all do. But he can risk himself for Cameron, the guy who has treated him the worst and wanted to kill his babies?!? Like, I don’t like how Alex is being treated by any of them and I really don’t like Chase using Alex’s feelings for him to push him to do something sexually he wasn’t ready to do. No thanks.
This has become such a chore to read. I don’t understand how they all fell in love when all the do is argue and have sex. You can’t even say they are fated mates. I think I’m gonna have to walk away and just have someone tell me how it all ends.

So far this was my least favorite installation of the series. I feel like I'm being pulled in too many directions without enough development. Which is a shame, because I really enjoyed the first book of the series and thought the second was a good time too. However, I do plan on continuing the series whenever the next book drops (it's simply too strange and bizarre to not finish)
With every book in the series I am drawn deeper and deeper into the world. Entertaining and intriguing. Love the story and characters... Drama, steam, emotion, action, suspense. Love it.
I am disappointed, I love the first book, the betrayal, the jealousy, and the revenge was real, it was riveting, it was so good you wanted to read more but the second one came and although it is not bad, being that it lost the essence of the first one.
And then there is the third book, it was so rushed, so fast that I was disappointed, I expected more, more depth. First of all, Chase is slowly turning on Ichor, his clear favoritism for the twins makes me uncomfortable. He brushes Alex and Sam aside so easily, and his love for Cameron is clearly great, as is Ichor.
I thought it would be a story where the main character loved everyone equally, but you can tell he already has preferences - Cameron, Cyrus, Sam and Alex and it makes me too uncomfortable.
And his constant wanting to make excuses for Cameron is tiresome and boring. Cameron wants to kill his kids and out of nowhere, he thinks he doesn't, and gets him in trouble, and Chase is just the same: oh poor thing.
I will read the last one to know how the series ends, so as not to leave it unfinished, but it already lost the charm it had for me in the face of rushed plots, more and more enemies come out and in the end, neither Alex transformed, nor Sam being a vampire is going to help them. I'm so uncomfortable with Chase's favoritism for Cyrus and Cameron that even he disappointed me and I loved him in the first one, but the revenge was forgotten when it should have lasted longer.
LC Davis, I love her, some books more than others but I feel that when she goes too long with her series, she makes mistakes and one loses the desire to keep reading. I only hope the best for him, and I will keep reading him because he is my guilty pleasure, and I love a lot of his books, but this one was a disappointment.
It's feels like happened a lot of things and in the same time, not.
Let me explain.
I've thought that this was the last book of the serie, but I was wrong and again the story ends with a cliffhanger. And with that everything has sense, because this book it feels like a prequel to another book. Like, this book existed only to put each single thing on its place to the next book.
I don't precisely hate this book, is just that I feel like it could be a little bit more because it feel as was cut and the part which was cut was the interesting part (which is gonna be in the next book). Did that make sense?
Ok, of course I gonna read the next book. I'm pretty addicted to this serie, I'm afraid.
Ps: the thing that I already hated about this book was the cover. What the actual duck. It's horrible.
¿Me entienden?
HORRIBLE.
