ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
Ah, I loved this book so much!
This is the first book that I've read by Caitlyn Dare and I'm looking forward to reading more of her books, especially "Trust Him" the next book from this series "Rebels At Sterling Prep".
"Taint Her" is a dark bully high school romance with a suspenseful and delicious storyline that will nail you to the book and you won’t be able to drop it until you read it.
Hadley is a female character who feels attracted to Cole and thinks she is the one who can change him.
Cole is a typical bad boy at first glance, but that is far from the truth.
Despite the attraction he feels towards Hadley, he tries to stay away from her because he thinks she is too good to be near him.
Hadley and Cole's chemistry is a pure explosion!
If you're looking for a dark bully high school romance and you also loved previous books from this series, then this is the book for you!!!

Maybe my expectations were really high, maybe the book just wasn’t for me but overall I’m pretty disappointed.
Even now that I finished it, I’m not sure what rating I should give it. For the most part was a 3-star read for me but one scene at the end made me consider giving it 2 stars (if you want to know more about his scene feel free to ask me, I just didn’t like it and I have to mark it as a spoiler if I write about it).
After reading Taunt Her and Tame Him I was really excited to read Cole’s story because he was such a mysterious character and I wanted to see more of him. The thing is that we get to see more of his thoughts, but we get to know nothing about his past, unfortunately. He’s definitely a tortured soul and he’s been through a lot as a kid, but nothing is revealed. I know that his story continues in the next book but I wanted to know something about him in this one.
As for Hadley I had an assumption about what happened to her in the past and as it seems I’m right so that wasn't a plot twist for me.
I didn’t like that back-and-forth in their relationship and to be honest I think they were a bit toxic together. Even Hadley says that:“It’s not normal, the way we are with each other.”
If you want to read a book with many hot scenes, then go for it, you won't be disappointed, but the plot couldn’t hold my interest. It ends with a cliffhanger so I’m going to read the next book anyway.
Oh and just a warning. For those of you who have read In the Unlikely Event by L.J. Shen there’s a similar scene in this book with “that” scene (you know, the one with the chocolate bar…). Don’t say that I didn’t warn you!

This was so good. Cole is THE broody bad boy and he’s met his match in Hadley. Two broken souls drawn to each other, the sexual chemistry and tension were all the charts.
And we thought Ace Jagger was dark. Meet his younger brother Cole, an intense and tortured alpha male, who in substituting himself to give his brother Ace a chance a love with Remi becomes tied (condemned) to Ace's former underground scene. And despite being attracted to Hadley, believes himself too dark and too damaged, afraid to inflict his brand devil onto her. Hadley, however, also broken, wants to help Cole, is confidently attracted to Cole. The two become a tumultuous and steamy pair.
I found that this book was my favorite in the series. It was darker, tenebrous, with more intense feeling. I loved the chemistry between the two, Cole's fiery displays of jealousy, the fact that they were well-matched. This book was much steamier than the first duet; my e-reader was on fire with the intense play. It also liked that Hadley was sweetly confident and could hold her own with Cole, in contrast to Remi from the Remi and Ace duet. Great supporting characters who interplayed the dynamics of Cole and Hadley's relationship. And the mystery storyline left me dying to know what would happen in the next book. I arrived to the end without realizing it.

alright , now that I have screamed that , I can tell you guys , how much I loved this book! From the moment I read the first 2 books of this series , Cole had intrigued me. He is even darker than his older brother Ace and I absolutely loved him for it! Caitlyn Dare has once again done it! This is Cole and Hadley's story and you bet your ass that you are gonna love every second with these two because they are explosive in the best of the ways.
Cole is the broody bad boy of the school. He has dark secrets and an even Darker personality. He sacrificed so much for his brother , so that he could have a chance at happiness. The underground deal didn't bother him. That is until a fiery spitfire came into his life and forced him to take notice of her. Hadley was the complete opposite of him. Both of them were Broken , but something in Hadley just called to Cole and she couldn't help but want to help this broken boy. But he didn't want her too. Cole was scared that he would take her down with him.
These two were very very steamy! Which is something I really appreciated lol. This book ended on a Cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what happens next! I have a feeling that the best is yet to come and can't wait to see what these marvelous authors have in store for us! A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there.

Oh Cole. I always fall for the dark and mysterious bad boys and Cole is the top of the heap. Hadley is a mystery and I’m dying to find out her secrets. Cole is chipping away and I can’t wait for the next book. Another well written, well executed story from Caitlyn Dare. This series is phenomenal!

Hadley has a thing for Cole, the dark, brooding and mysterious Jagger brother. She has nothing but lust for him. As for him? Well, I’m not giving away anything yet. You have to pick up this book and see for yourself. This is the 3rd book in this series by Caitlyn Dare. Caitlyn is an author you will want to come back to, time and time again. She writes with passion and devotion , plus her storylines are simply amazing, thrilling with a hint of romance, mysterious and passionate.

I can not express my feelings enough for this series, these characters and this writing!
I have never really gotten into highschool stories for several reasons (that I am not going to bore you with, lol) but this is the series that completely changed my mind.
The downside to that is that I haven’t found another author that I enjoy nearly so much in this trope!
COLE
I have been waiting for this guy’s book since I started with this series.
He is the darkest of the three brothers and is barely able to restrain his inner demons on his best days...which he doesn’t have many of.
Most people think he’s cold and uncaring because of the mask he wears but Hadley sees through it.
She sees the whirlwind of emotions and rage...and she wants more.
But cole doesn’t want to taint her, bring her down. Because he feels like he’s poison and she’s too good for him.
But damn! He wants her.
She finds him one night when he’s kinda checked out for a bit, covered in blood.
Instead of backing away, she takes him to her dorm and helps clean him up, promising to keep his secret.
But, what is that secret?
Although he doesn’t want Hadley messed up with someone like him, he also can’t stand to see anyone else even look at her.
Yup...he’s an alpha-hole! Possessive and jealous, just the way we like them, right?
But, ugh! The path he’s going down is destructive and dangerous and his past keeps haunting his present.
It’s so awful. Gut-wrenching!
HADLEY
I love Hadley.
Most people see the pretty cheerleader without a care in the world and all the money she could ever need.
What they don’t see is the dark past she’s trying to forget, the family that deserted her, the cravings she’s trying to resist.
But Cole does.
She wants him so bad and can’t help but poke the bear...but when she gets his attention, she gets all of it and now she’s desperate for him to stop digging into her past.
He thinks he’s the only one was darkness and poison, but he’s wrong!
Hadley’s story is as fucked up as his and omg...I can’t even deal with how this made me feel.

Caitlyn Dare has very quickly become one of my all-time favourite authors in such a short period of time.
She pulls you in so completely that you can pretty much ‘see’ the scenes play out in front of your eyes and you take on the personas of the characters.
I can not wait for more.

Taint Her is the third installment in the Rebels At Sterling Prep series. I fell in love with the Jagger twins from the beginning and instantly knew that Cole would be my favorite.
If you think Ace Jagger was dark, Cole is even more intense and tortured. Cole is our broody bad boy, trapped in an awful situation to save his family. Our Hadley is haunted by her past too. Her past is slowly revealed and these two damaged souls can't help but be drawn to one another. Hadley wants Cole to take a chance but he doesn't believe he deserves her, cue the sobbing!
In Caitlyn Dare fashion, it's no surprise that this book ends with a cliffhanger! She loves torturing us and I love crying so it's a win-win! This book is my absolute favorite in the series so far and I already know Cole and Hadley are going to stay my favorite couple. I loved the sexy and invigorating passion between these two. Their storyline is so suspenseful and intense, I couldn't put the book down. My heart is pounding so hard. I need the next book soon; I'm so hooked!

It's Cole's turn! I am really enjoying being stuck in Cole's head. He is so dark and has so much built up anger! I just want to hug him. This author has sucked me in to this world and I don't want to return to the real world, ever! I really love the layer of darkness this book holds. It is a lot darker than the first two books in the series, in my opinion and I am definitely getting sucked in to the world deeper.
So many secrets, so much pain, so much heartache! I need to know more! Hadley and Cole have that chemistry you just can not deny. Their drawn to each other by an invisible string. I am sitting on the edge of my seat reading this book... It's an Angst readers heaven!
So much I want to say but you need to experience this for yourself. Definitely a must read for people who love those dark dark reads!

i think i preferred this couple to the one before but there was so many scenes when i wanted to rip my eyes out and the characters eyes including. it ended on a cliffhanger so now im forced to read the next bit, kinda over this series idk if imma finish but lets talk about the positives. i like the mystery aspect and how both the characters are hiding something and we still don’t know what hadley is hiding. lowkey some weird threesome but not threesome stuff with the twin brothers so that is interesting…

Y’all! I absolutely loved Remi & Ace’s books, so when Caitlyn hinted about Cole & Hadley at the end of Tame Her, I lost my shit. I was so excited, and I’m happy to say that Taint Her did not disappoint in the least.
Cole & Hadley are literally E V E R Y T H I N G!! I might even love them more than I love R&A. Both of them are so broken and dark (which I did not expect out of Hadley AT ALL), and the secrets they keep... Holy cannoli. They’re hot and explosive and I just love them so much.
That cliffhanger made me throw my kindle though, need the rest of their story ASAP. You’re killing me dude!

I wish I read the first two in this series but given how the prologue was I was hooked beyond belief and I’m not confused with what’s going on but I’m definitely going to read the first two immediately. Cole and Hadley are fire together and I need more now

I found this one better then the previous ones, but still not "I'm blown of my socks..".
At first I just was confused wit Hayden and Hadley and with that I didn't mean their story, I just needed to look twice at the name to be sure who was mentioned. Their names are so much a like.
I enjoyed their pull and passion, however the same thing as in book 1 or 2 happened here as well.
It's like the norm for people to try and get the other one jealous, but if this will happen in book 5 as well then I'm going to have a hissy fit..
Cole has some darkness in and around him. I normally like my H a little or a lot on the darkside, but Cola and Ace aren't as dark and twisted as they think. Or at least Ace isn't, he just wants to be.. That was the feeling I got. I could guess Cole and Hadley's secrets and I was right!
I'm on to the next one and also the last of Cole and Hadley.

Oh my god! This series! Mind-f#%king, emotion-wrecking, orgasm-inducing series!!! I loved it and even though I normally hate cliff hangers...I need each next book like a junkie.
This is Hadley and Cole’s story with Conner mixed in. 2 brothers after the same girl...swoon worthy on its own. But the added suspense of Cole getting mixed up with the wrong people and Hadley’s broken past only sweetened the pot! This was hands down a 5 star read, beginning to end!

I loved this book even more than the first two books in this series! Cole was exactly what I was hoping he’d be! This one was a little more darker and a lot more hot! It’s 2am right now as I’m writing this and I couldn’t put it down and honestly I don’t think I can sleep without diving into Cole and Hadley’s second book Trust Him! So good!

Cole Jagger has arrived and what an epic entrance he made! Yes, he’s been here all along but now the broody, mysterious and super sexy Jagger twin is front and center. I really thought none of the brothers could hold a candle to Ace but damn...I just don’t know...I am so torn. I will just say I love them both. This book was a lot more on the dark side of things than the first two books. It fit perfectly with all things Cole Jagger. Dark and dangerous. While I loved the first book in the series, I unfortunately wasn’t a huge fan of the second book. This one more than made up for it. I loved absolutely everything about Cole and Hadley’s story!
“I just need darkness…nothingness. It’s the only place where I can find solace.”
I thought Ace was dark and tortured, but Cole takes it to a whole new level. He is so intense. This sexy, mysterious bad boy has secrets from his past that he wants to stay buried deep. After some crazy twists and turns he finds himself making a deal with the devil to save the only people in this world he gives two shits about. His circle of people he allows in his life is small and air-tight, but Hadley is slowly making her way in. Although he fights like hell to keep her out.
“A truth I can’t taint her with. She’s too innocent. Too pure.”
Hadley finds herself unable to keep her distance from Cole. She knows the Jagger bad boy doesn’t do relationships, but she feels a constant pull to him. He has his secrets but so does she. She isn’t who everyone thinks she is. Maybe she’s just as broken as he is. One she finds him covered in blood that’s not his own things get super crazy between these two.
“He hides a darkness inside him, a darkness I live with every second of every day.”
Let’s talk about the explosive chemistry between these two...wow. It was so damn hot. Both battling their demons while simultaneously battling whatever is going on between them. She pushed hard. He pulled away just as hard. I loved it. Secrets, lies and hot sex. Everything about this book was so intense. Can they both keep the secrets they are so desperately trying to hide? Can two broken people find a way to heal? How in the hell is it possible for the Jagger brothers to be just so damn hot? So many questions, some answers and a killer cliffhanger that I had a feeling was coming but still was not prepared. I absolutely loved this book and can not wait for the next one!

This series gets better and better, trust me you don't want to miss out on Cole Jagger
I’m completely in love with this series, I’m so glad i found it. It kinda takes me back to what i read back in my high school days. Especially when i was obsessed with high school bad boys. Ofc the bad boys in this series are much more, definitely not high school or pg and I’m fucking obsessed with them. I knew from the very first book i loved cole and i do, very much. I expressed in my other reviews that i was really excited for his story, especially finding out Hadley was the love interest and honestly I’m not disappointed one bit.
Cole is definitely a broken, lost soul. He’s consumed with rage and anger. I can’t express how much i love him, i could try but i would just be me rambling and not making any sense. I loved his depth and I can’t wait to see where his character does especially with the cliffhanger we were given. I honestly can’t wait to see what happens next. Hadley and Cole are definitely alot alike and i really believe they are meant for each other. Hadley is also broken and lost, she has been through alot especially being casted away by her parents. She’s all alone but i loved her relationship with remi. Her and Cole compliment each other, they go through some heavy bumps especially one called COLE. He’s difficult and closed off but hadley does not give up easily. They are a messy, dysfunctional couple but are also extremely passionate and you could tell no matter how mucy they pull away they are drawn to each other and care deeply for each other. This book was fun and intense and fucking sexy. The sex scenes within this series has blown my mind, each Jagger boy so far was swoony, sexy and the dirty talk... YES
I highly highly recommend this series, it brings alot and has alot of depth. The plot is good and I actually love how the books have ended off. Cliffhanger wise it’s all made sense and it’s made me very excited to carry on reading. It’s written really well and all these characters will definitely surprise you.
I also can’t forget about my baby Connor, the 3rd Jagger boy. Coles twin. He’s the light of the grouo. He’s funny and happy but you definitely know theres something deeper going on and I can’t wait for his story and to see things from his point of view. It’s definitely going to be interesting.

I've been waiting for this book to come out since it was first announced and omg was I not disappointed! This is the third book in the Rebels of the Sterling Prep series and the first book in Cole and Hadley's duet. It follows Remi's best friend and Ace's brother from the previous book.
After reading that teaser at the end of the second book about Cole and Hadley I knew that I had to read them, and boy did I love them in this book! I am already so impatient for book 2 - I can't wait already!
Hadley is beautiful and broken, she's has a darkness and secrets along with her that I was not expecting from her character and I'm excited to see that explored more in the next book and find out the truth behind her.
Then we have Cole, dark, mysterious, broody, soft and broken just the same - he too has secrets like Hadley. I can't wait to see him open up in next one and for us to find out more about each of them. I loved both their characters I knew Cole was going to be dark, but damn.
Cole and Hadley together was explosive, they both need each other so much to battle and keep the darkness within each other. Man were they hot, those scenes of them - I flushed geeeez. I loved being able to see some soft moments too.
The plot was impeccable and I was constantly on the edge of my seat and wanting to find out more, it was so well done - I can't believe this is the writers first series, they're already so talented! I can't wait to hold Hadley and Cole in my hands physically with a copy of the book!
