The Oxygen Thief Diaries 2 Books Collection Set By
Diary of an Oxygen Say there was a novel in which Holden Caulfield was an alcoholic and Lolita was a photographer’s assistant and, somehow, they met in Bright Lights, Big City. He’s blinded by love. She by ambition. Diary of an Oxygen Thief is an honest, hilarious, and heartrending novel, but above all, a very realistic account of what we do to each other and what we allow to have done to us.
Chameleon in a Candy Picking up the story where it left off, the controversial protagonist of cult classic Diary of an Oxygen Thief retools his advertising skills to seduce women online. It’s a pursuit that quickly becomes a dangerous fixation, often requiring even more creativity and deception than his award-winning ad campaigns. Dazzling, daunting, and darkly hilarious, this spellbinding sequel is a spectacular indictment of a modern love twisted beyond recognition.

The book was nothing special. Was pretty slow at first, but picked up halfway through. Just a meh book in general. It’s an experience reading, but I wouldn’t really recommend it.
It was ok. Short and easy to read. I did enjoy it, but not really my thing. He’s an alcoholic at the start but the story he tells is a period of his life of sobriety. He was hurt by a manipulative beautiful woman. He then goes on to behave exactly like she did to him. Maybe to exact revenge. Either way he is in a destructive cycle at the beginning of this book. The story is told in the past tense. Do people really play these games? I know I don’t. But then again, I’m happy and my life is not complicated at all.
Took me 4 years to finish this book mostly because of life situations but also due to the fact that what I was going through in life at the time made reading this SO difficult for me. It was a hard read but a very much needed one. This book isn’t fully of secrets about the male brain or anything the average person couldn’t figure out but something about becoming aware that some people want to cause intentional harm hurts so bad to hear. Def recommend
I’m sorry but this book was so draining and repetitive, the story was told so badly, and any character that appeared was dislikable. I don’t think I need to hear how yet another man wants to treat women badly for their power complex 😖 didn’t finish it.
DNF at 21% - (Audible) I couldn't finish it the first as an audiobook, but listening to how everything was playing out made me physically angry, but also made me a little more empathetic in a way only because I have experienced some of these scenarios before.
