Decent until Erich

At first I was happily entertained by this series. The overarching plot was unfolding interestingly, if a bit too slowly, and I enjoyed seeing a different attempt at weaving fairy tales into a cohesive larger story (as compared to KM Shea). It wasn't amazing, considering some grammar and continuity issues, but still worth my time. Until Erich's book.

That one had more significant problems. Either the author utterly failed at sense, or Erich was extraordinarily beyond the pale dumb. Possibly some combination. He didn't notice or think of so many super obvious things that I struggled to get through the book.

I also didn't like adding in Robin Hood to the fairy tales because it isn't a fairy tale. I suspect that will grow as a problem with future books, so I probably will not continue the series.

Good try, though.
