I'm obsessed with this whole steamy series.

Right now I'm more sticking around for the law of the books and the fact that the curse isn't what we originally thought. my theory was correct about a part of the case. This author has a special way of storytelling just makes me curious to see what the next couple figures out Since the curse isn't what we originally thought it was and has changed over the centuries so we're missing a lot of information . The only problem is it seems like the couples are following a pattern of miscommunication or misunderstandings just in different ways. Slight spoiler I was wondering how their powers complemented each other because speed and healing are very different unlike with Wes and Audrey who had storm powers combined, but compliments each other not directly but in a way that the team needs so if two people on the other sides of the island are injured by the curse we have Two healers that can get to them in the blink of an eye and They could also take pain from each other and not have the disadvantage of exhaustion of the speed powers

Another unstoppable read to add to the first book! Couldn't put it down, really.
It's crazy how the author pulls us to that world and everything else shuts down. The romance, the magic, the adventure... all perfect!
And the chemistry between the MCs is off the charts and the steamy scenes... 🥵
This book follows a different couple than the first. This focus more on a second-chance romance.
The h is strong and doesn't know it and all around awesome. The H is went through a manwhore phase in his life but is a hot (HOT) cinnamon roll all over.
All the great stuff the first book had is still present in this (I reviewed it here) but the repetition minor issue the first book had is gone in this one 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will start the next one in the series asap!

Darker
In the second book, we move into darker waters. The curse we learned about in the first book is gathering up its power and form and the attacks are more frequent and more violent.
Thora and Finn definitely have their work cut out for one another, especially since it has been seven years since they broke up. Watching this second chance romance grow and blossom amidst all the attacks and horny (remember, the magic makes them want each other so so much) was a delight.
The darkness in this second book is also physical. There is body horror and there are moments of pain that resonate deeply. It really isn’t an easy journey for any of the twelve that will battle this evil.

A Touch Charmed
The second book of the series, these two also needed that second chance, though theirs was a very different story. So much happens and you’re right there with them trying to unravel the curse. It sets up well for the third book, but gives you a satisfying ending for now. I’m hooked and planning to binge my way through the whole series.

I just hate hate hate miscommunication plot especially when it's paired with the manwhore trope 🙄 Still love the main plot (the curse and the descendants having powers) and Thora's family drama. And most definitely would love to see her beat that pompous mayor aka stepfather who didn't step up one bit.

These second chance romances are killing it. Thora and Finn reunited is steam worthy and heartpounding.

I've really been enjoying this series. Just the right amount of bonkers, and I love what it does with consent. How the magic only enhances the feelings you have for someone. Thora and Finn were a sweet couple as they dealt with their past on top of their continued attraction to each other. Both had complicated childhoods and I appreciated how they saw each other, loving both the good and the bad.
I'm excited to see where this series and the curse goes.
