I had a few problems these last couple of weeks and my mind wasn't in the right place.
I couldn't concentrate on reading so I couldn't start this book as soon as it arrived on my kindle.
I was sad and I couldn't focus so I thought that I needed to feel better to enjoy this book.
And here I am, super happy for having the chance to read this book.
These two authors had left me wanting for more after finishing the first book from this series and oh boy... They are brutal.
K.A. Knight and Ivy Fox, these two will take you hostage...
Just grab one book from them and you'll see. Lol
Their writing is raw and wild, intense, dangerous, and hot...
Deadly Match is their latest release and it's the second book from the Deadly Love series.
This book explores the lives of Gray and Zoey.
But one advice. Read Deadly Affair first. Is mandatory that you do so. You'll see why.
Gray didn't have an easy childhood. He was put in a group home where he suffered tremendously.
He had a huge heart and did everything in his power to protect Zoey, another sweet girl that was put in that home for a few weeks.
Now, years had passed and he was a badass. He's a Hitman and when he sees Zoey again, sparks fly.
But here the thing, Zoey's dad threatened him if he so much as got close to her or he would kill him, but will that stop him?
Zoey was this sweet little girl and then boom, they grew up, and now...
She's a badass that doesn't take shi*** from anyone.
When she sets her eyes on Gray she doesn't remember him right away but then...
And guys, this book was something else...
It had all the components to be a masterpiece and it was so much more.
Superb plot, is very well written, super engaging, dark, and hot...
The story progressed in a way that made me read it in one sitting...
I was so into the story that I didn't see the time and when The End appeared it was 6 am...
Who needs to sleep anyway?
This book gives us love, loyalty, and desire as well as demons, crime, and drama.
And the hot stuff... Lord have mercy...
It was amazing to have some answers that book one left unanswered.
Overall it was an amazing book that I loved every page.
Great book guys, what's next? I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
