Secrets are poison.
They eat away at you from the inside.
I doubt there’s a single person in the club that would have a problem with who I am.
Keeping my mouth shut is all about my own shame.
Who I am isn’t acceptable.
That’s what my Fundamentalist family raised me to believe, but even after leaving home, I couldn’t be myself.
Fighting against it never really became a struggle until the flirty bartender set his eyes on me.
He made me wish for things I couldn’t have.
Resisting him was easy until that first kiss.
Now there’s a very real chance my shame will ruin us both.

I was really excited for Boomer’s book because I just wanted to know his story. It was definitely not what I was expecting & I couldn’t imagine growing up the way he did. It really makes you think about the way people should be parenting their kids. But even with the way he was raised Boomer grew into the man he wanted to be, even if he struggled along the way.

Drake was a surprise, his backstory wasn’t what I was expecting either. I really liked his character & how he wasn’t ashamed to be exactly who he is. Two completely opposite personalities made the perfect pair. Boomer didn’t make it easy on Drake but their ending was worth it!

Cerberus Is Always a Winner!!

I can’t believe that this series always seems fresh and new and never loses a beat on giving me everything I love in my MC books. I’ve waited for Boomer’s story and I loved every minute of it. Boomer was brought up in a life without much understanding of others and their values. Now the ex-marine is struggling with what he really knows what he wants but is afraid to after it. That someone just happens to be the flirtatious bartender, Drake.

These books are always written where I feel everything that this author is trying to portray and then some.

4.25stars—BOOMER is the twenty-fifth instalment in Marie James’ contemporary, adult CERBERUS MC erotic, MC romance series. This is former US Marine Alexander ‘Boomer’ Smith, and bartender Drake Hill’s story line. BOOMER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: BOOMER is an LGBTQ story line focusing on a same $ex relationship between two consenting adult men. Some of the events of BOOMER cross over with some of the events of book twenty-four ARO.

Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers including assault, abuse and homophobia.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Alex and Drake) BOOMER focuses on the building but struggling relationship between former US Marine Alexander ‘Boomer’ Smith, and bartender Drake Hill. Alexander Smith grew up in a strict Fundamentalist religious family, with draconian rules and regulations that would leave Alexander battling the demons from which he continues to run. The Fundamentalist teachings about God, $ex and homosexuality have scarred Alexander Smith such that he is unable to discern his attraction to Drake from a mortal sin. Drake Hill has flirted with Alex, suspecting our hero has yet to come out of the ‘proverbial closet’ but Drake will soon discover that Alex’s inability to let go of the past controls every aspect of his present including his attraction to the man with whom he will fall in love. As Alex and Drake’s relationship becomes more personal and physical, Alex wants to keep their affair a secret but with issues of trust, Alex will quickly push Drake out of his life, refocusing his attention on the teachings from the past, needing forgiveness for his transgressions and sins. What ensues is the building but heart breaking relationship between Alex and Drake, and the potential fall-out as Alex continues to struggle with his attraction to Drake, and what he perceives to be judgement by the Cerberus MC.

Drake Hill is a flirt; he flirts with everyone including Alexander Smith but Drake only has eyes for our story line hero, a man who is unable to accept who he is, and what he wants. Drake knows that to push Alex could mean to push the man a little too far but Drake never expected to find himself blamed for something he would never do. Drake’s own past is mired is abuse and regret, and as such Drake battles between head and heart knowing the man that he loves is struggling with who he is and what he wants. Alexander Smith battles between head and heart with his attraction to Drake, an attraction that would never be condoned by the family with whom he grew up but that family destroyed Alex’s heart and his soul, leaving Alex a shell of his former self.

The relationship between Alex and Drake begins awkwardly as Alex is unable to admit to his attraction to Drake. Alex believes he will be judged not only by God but by the Cerberus family and the other MCs.Struggling to move beyond the teachings of his past, Alex will eventually break the heart of the man with whom he will fall in love, a heart that was willing to accept Alex, ‘sins’ and all. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and charismatic secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we have met in the previous story lines including Sawyer ‘Ugly’ Maddox, and President of the Cerberus MC Kincaid. Ugly’s story line is next.

BOOMER is a story of power, betrayal, grief and acceptance. The premise is emotional and captivating; the romance is seductive and heart breaking; the characters are broken, dynamic and determined. BOOMER ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

After 24 books Ms. James continues to give readers unforgettable stories with larger than life characters...and this 25th installment in the Cerberus MC books is no exception! Painful pasts, angst, and tons of inner conflict fuel this m/m romance and kept me glued to the pages as each heartache made my own heart ache.

Alexander “Boomer” Smith grew up in a religious cult where his feelings for men were seen as a sin. For 18 years he tried to conform to the cult's beliefs, tried to be the way others were, but in a single moment everything came crashing down through an act of betrayal that left him forever bruised. A stint in the Marines didn't change his views of himself either. He eventually found himself becoming a member of the Cerberus MC, finding a sense of acceptance from others though not acceptance from himself. Years of judgements, years of condemnation, have made him closed-off and untrusting of others. The depiction of his upbringing broke my heart as it forever changed the man he could've been, left him a stoic and serious-minded shell. When readers first meet Boomer they see a man broken down by a life full of judgments but with each turn of the page, and a life-altering connection to bartender Drake, Boomer undertakes a slow but steady journey of inner growth that warms my heart.

Drake Hill seems the exact opposite to Boomer, a young man full of joy and living life to the fullest. He had his own childhood issues though, ones he was able to work through and who will become a beacon of acceptance and support for Boomer as their journey progresses. Drake's interacted with the Cerberus brothers for years, flirtatiously interacted with them, but he's always had eyes for only Boomer. Getting Boomer's attention though won't be easy as Boomer's racked with self-doubt and teeming with trust issues that the immensely appealing Drake will have to work through. Drake's a delicious hero, one with a bubbly attitude that is just who and what Boomer needs in a crackling connection that captivated me.

Boomer's an immensely satisfying read with a main couple who were supportive of each other while burning up the pages in a contemporary tale of overcoming the past and becoming who you're meant to be. Boomer and Drake seemed like opposites early on but with slightly similar childhoods they formed a bond of both the heart and soul that had me cheering them on every step of the way. The action flowed nicely while matters of the heart pulled at my emotional strings to keep me fully invested in this story. With its unforgettable main couple, and equally supportive cast of secondary characters, this story was an epic one! And with an ending that left my heart pounding, setting up Ugly's story flawlessly, I'm now counting down the days until the next installment in this series hits bookshelves!

I really enjoyed reading Boomer, the 25th book from Marie James' series Cerberus MC. It was difficult to read at parts but more realistic than a lot of books I have read that are about the LGBTQ+ community. Marie James did a really amazing job portraying what it can be like for some gay men out in the world we live in.
In this book, you meet Boomer who was raised in a religious compound that brainwashed him to their religious ways and beliefs. He knew he was different but after his brother and friends beat him after finding out he 'sinned' he was exiled and joined the military. For 10 years he didn't let anyone know how he really felt or who he really was on the inside instead playing the part of a straight man. When he joined Cerberus he met Drake who is the bartender at the local bar Jakes and a domestic violence survivor. Drake and Boomer have been attracted to each other from the start. Boomer doesn't realize it at first because Drake flirted with everybody so he didn't think he was any different. It was for Drake though. As scared as he was to be in a relationship again especially one where his partner is still in the closet isn't something he ever wanted but the heart wants what the heart wants. I felt for Drake's frustration at being Boomer's hidden secret in a way after Boomer acknowledges that he is attracted to Drake but the last thing he wants is anyone to know especially his club. But his club already figured it out for the most part especially his best friend Ugly. Thanks to Ugly's pushing Boomer has to face the truth and not hide it. Gay relationships aren't anything new to the club, they already have a gay couple that are members, so he should already know that he will be accepted if he could get out of his head.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating because this book set itself apart from the others in the series. I really felt for Boomer with not being accepted by his family and then being scared of not being accepted by anyone in his life for being gay. I grew up with a religious family also and faced obstacles similar to Boomer and am so glad he overcame his fear like I had a chance to do. This book can be read as a stand-alone without reading the rest of the series. If you like this book I suggest checking out Snatch, book #5 in this series. And with the way this book ended you just know Ugly's book is going to be a good one and it's up next.

Alexander “Boomer” Smith was cast out of his Fundamentalist upbringing when he was 18 years old for committing a major sin in the eyes of his church. From there he joined the army and then joined the Cerberus MC. He has struggled his whole life with who to trust and being comfortable with who he really is.

Drake Hill is a bartender at Jake’s where many of the Cerberus guys hang out. He’s been trying to catch Boomer’s eye for some time but really has no idea where he stands with the man. Yet Drake has his own past that he has had to come to terms with and has battled through it.

Can Boomer come to terms with his own demons and see what is in front of him or will the past jeopardize his future?

This was a really good read and I liked that this one was a lot different than her past few books.

Boomer grew up in a Fundamentalist compound and when he realized he was different from the others he tried to keep it secret until he was caught and suffered for it. That event really gave him a lack of trust in others and also made him feel very differently about himself as he battled between how he felt and still what he grew up believing. He really struggled and that made him seem some what cold to others.

Drake was a very friendly guy but also was trustworthy as he didn’t betray anyone with what he learned while working. He could tell that Boomer had demons and he wanted to help him but every time they would get close Boomer would pull away again.

As friends tried to help Boomer was even more conflicted about who to trust and also how he would be viewed by others. I felt like he thought he would be abandoned again and that terrified him.

The ending was good and this was not drama filled at all but just a book on overcoming your demons and being happy with who you really are.- Rebecca

What a wonderful heartwarming storyline, but that is often the case with Ms. James books. Her Cerberus books are more than just biker action and romance. They have an amazing feel to them. We see inside the characters in more than just their MC/Cerberus actions and love interests. This is very true with Boomer’s story. We’ve got a glimpse of his struggles in past books but now we get the entire picture and boy what a ride that is.

Boomer struggles with his inner self. Oh not because he is gay, he’s known that since he was a young boy. His struggle is not acting on. You see he was raised in a cult type religious environment and their teachings are ingrained in his mind. Even now after his marine corp days and as a patched member in the Cerberus MC, he still struggles. He doesn’t condemn others at all, he just wishes he could be like them and find happiness. Especially where Drake, the bartender at the club’s favorite bar, is concerned.

Watching Boomer’s story unfold was simply magnificent. Kudo’s Ms. James for writing such a profound and touching storyline. I can’t recommend Boomer enough. In fact if you haven’t started this outstanding series, you really need to. You won’t regret a single title.

Can he over come all the things he was taught as he grew up or will he push the other away before they can build something together? But Drake also has a past that hurts him can he figure out everything before they lose each other? This story ends on a cliffy.

I recommend this book.

When we first met Boomer he appeared in Harley's story. He was mysterious always just watching and being quite. He formed a special bond with Alyssa Dansby and now we finally get to hear his story. Boomer was born Alexandra Isaiah Smith and he grew up in community that did not accept who he was a person and he was forced to leave it all behind. He joined the Marines and later became a member of the elite group Cerberus MC. In his story he fights who he is a person never really accepting what he wants and what he desires. Drake is a bartender at the local bar Jakes and he flirts with everyone. He takes an interest in Boomer but Boomer keeps pushing his advances away until he doesn't, this story is about one man's journey to overcome what was ingrained in him since he was born. I really like how Marie James wrote Boomer's story, it pulled at your heart strings and made you want to keep reading to see where things went for the two. Boomer was terrified that he wouldn't be accepted by the men he works with and calls brothers. But they had no judgement in sight only acceptance. Ugly gets himself into some trouble and he's up next can't wait for his story.

Where do I even begin?! Boomer is the next story in the Cerberus MC series, and I absolutely adored it! Boomer's story doesn't see the teams heading out on a mission, but it still brings the tension and suspense, but in a sweeter way. This is very much the story of a man finding himself and coming to terms with who he is, even when he is surrounded by nothing but accepting people.

Boomer's childhood was anything but typical. Growing up in a compound with a family and community that is so bound by their beliefs that anything different is wrong. It takes a lot of effort to try and undo 18 years of having those beliefs drilled into your head. But one sexy bartender tests Boomer's every thought.

Drake is a serial flirt. Sure, it's part of his job, but he is always quick with a smirk or a wink, and he doesn't mind ruffling a few feathers of a certain MC group when they show up at his bar. But one man has the power to bring him to his knees, even if that man isn't ready to acknowledge what they could have.

Can Boomer figure out what he wants out of life before he drives away the one person who has the power to bring him all the happiness in the world?

Such a bittersweet story.
I was so heartbroken over what Boomer was put through.
His thought process so severely affected by how he grew up.
Boomer’s story is thought provoking and filled my heart with pain.
No person has right to physically harm nor mentally and spiritually damage another person because they believe differently, live differently or prefer one lifestyle over another.
I loved Drake’s happy go lucky nature. He’s sweet and friendly, he’s sociable and charming.
The opposite of Boomer’s serious and quiet demeanor. Boomer is reserved and a man of few words.
His freaking upbringing damaged his persona and in how he viewed himself.
The baggage and weight of salvaging his soul that Boomer carries makes the story a slow burn.
As it should be. You can’t have years of being conditioned a certain way and suddenly change her belief system.
The book is emotional and gutted me at times.
But with the type of people that surround Boomer he has a support system and love that is unconditional and enduring.
The ending sets up the next book perfectly. Definitely looking forward to Ugly’s story.

This book hurt my heart at times with what Boomer had to go through. From the prologue my heart went out to him and seeing his struggle as the story unfolded just made me sad knowing that there are real people out there who go through those same struggles. People who had the same types of upbringing, or at least something similar, and some of them never get to be their true selves because of the self judgement and shame Boomer was experiencing. He was written with such depth and layers that he was a pretty likable guy. And then there was Drake. He was this fun, flirty, personable guy who had so many unexpected facets to him as well. Honestly, I’d probably have to say he was the character I most liked in this story.

There were definitely moments of frustration as the story went on. As much as I felt for Boomer, I also loved Drake and he was hurting due to some of Boomer’s actions or inaction. But all the worry and angst was well worth it since as usual Marie James made things right. Right up to that crazy ending that sets up the next book in the series. She dropped some breadcrumbs that gave me ideas of what’s going on, but I can’t wait to see the truth unfold.

Boomer is a former marine, who really didn't have a great upbringing, and it's left its mark. His family was one of those types of religious families who are abusive in my eyes since it's all about mortal sin/hell vs. love & forgiveness of Jesus, and he's been running from it for a long time now. He has an attraction to Drake, but due to that childhood, he can't even fathom exploring it without fear, so it's pretty much torture for him to deal with it. Of course with this much training as a child, he sees everything as judgement for his attraction, and while he can't seem to stay away from Drake, it's going to get dicey as he comes to grips with it by leaving the past in the past (if he can). This story was very emotional as this situation is not uncommon in the real world even today, and man I wanted to hug both Boomer & Drake as both end up suffering because of those who had no business having kids honestly. I loved how Marie James approached this hot topic with class & grace, and yet didn't hold any punches back, so I felt everything like it was happening in my life. Boomer is another fantastic addiction to this epic world that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Environment or nurture?

Beautifully written Ms. James!
This story is about two men, but it doesn't focus on two men together, but two men who are extremely different.
Boomer was raised Mormon, the severe sect, and fights his entire life against who he is...
Drake was raised by loving parents whom he knew wouldn't accept his lifestyle, yet he has made peace and a life for himself.
Boomer struggles everyday, his upbringing has an immense hold on him even though he left and joined the Marines. He now lives with a family, because Cerberus is a family, that wouldn't question or throw him away. But that nurture thing, it messes with one's head.
Ms. James wrote a beautiful novel about Boomer and Drake. The emotions Boomer deals with, the internal struggles, and even his fear of fire and brimstone for his eternal life are poignant. One feels his pain while reading, and even his brief glimpses of joy, but is this enough for Drake to break through walls Boomer has spent almost 30 years hiding behind.
This was the best written male/male love relationship I have read.
Cerberus is all about saving, yet this time Boomer has to save himself.
Stunning! Ms. James!

Simply Perfect

Boomer and Drake’s tale is PHENOMENAL!!! It’s a long, hard fought road to HEA for these 2. I’ve been waiting for both of their stories for so long and am so happy that I them all in one amazing book.
Boomer has to fight through his childhood trauma and deeply ingrained negative thoughts to find happiness. Your heart will break for the child and then the man who so desperately just wants someone to love him.
Drake is the super sexy bartender who I have been hoping would be featured in a Cerberus storyline. I didn’t think this was how he would end up in their world but now that we have their story - it’s simply perfect.
These 2 are perfect for each other. Your heart will break for them and then you’ll be cheering them onward to their lifetime of happiness. Marie James crafts tales that are more than just entertainment and a way to pass time, she creates world where our friends reside. I loved being able to catch up some of those friends in this book. And the ending?!?!? OH MY GOSH….cannot wait! Another amazing addition to the Cerberus MC universe.

Boomer, the story I have been dying to read is finally here and it did not disappoint. There was more to Boomer than meets the eye, the things holding him back making him the man he is today. The chemistry between him and Drake is off the charts, the scenes between these two will make you want to smoke afterwards even if you are a non smoker. Don't get me wrong these two were frustrating at times with one foot forward in their journey and five steps back. My heart broke at times for both of them but in the end it was the heartbreak of Drake that had the tears flowing. There was witty banter and a lot of push and pull to have you thoroughly entertained. Their story was emotional and inspirational all at the same time. I love that the Cerberus men and women are so accepting and that all they want is to see each other happy. A story that has you on the edge of your seat and leaves you with an ending you did not see coming.

Book twenty-five and still going strong! Boomer and Drake's story really gives us some feels. Boomer knows exactly who he is, he has accepted it a long time ago, but his up bringing has him feeling that he is in the wrong, so he denies himself the right to be who he is. Drake seems to be Boomer's kryptonite and has Boomer feeling things he hasn't before. Will Boomer finally let himself be free or will the teachings from his past keep him in the closet even longer?

We get some really great drama with this story. With such a long series, we have LOADS of characters to keep up with, and we get to "see" majority of them in this story, so it was nice to have that bit of a check in on their HEA's. I really enjoyed the ride that Boomer and Drake gave us, I do feel like their ending was rushed a bit, but that could be because I'm greedy and wanted more (I have never denied that). I give this 4 stars.

Boomer is book 25 in the Cerberus MC series but it can be read as a standalone.

This is a very slow-burn romance, which considering Boomer's upbringing is completely understandable. The way he struggled with his sexuality and his attraction to Drake was heartbreaking. I was glad he had such a strong support system because otherwise, it would have been a whole lot harder for him to take a chance on loving Drake. Drake was Boomer's polar opposite, out and proud, and sure of what he wanted, which didn't mean that he couldn't be hurt by Boomer's actions.

Overall, this was a really emotional, heartwrenching, intense read. Drake and Boomer had a lot of chemistry and their story was one I won't forget anytime soon. Please keep in mind that this book deals with homophobia, assault, and abuse and ends on a cliffhanger. Recommendable!

Boomer becomes a book you can't put down from the very first scene and the reader feels his sadness and anxiety from that point on.
He grows into the man he can be proud of with his military career and then moves on to Cerberus leaving his DNA past behind although they are always "present". His crew is silently supportive of him even though he doesn't share what he has been through until they can't stand it any longer to see him struggle.
Drake is everyone's favorite bartender as well as flirt and everyone is fair game, until they aren't. But how much will he tolerate? Boomer doesn't know, will he push until he loses everything he thinks and feels he wants and deserves?
After much angst and lots of pushing from friends, they each grow and understand each other's point of view while getting their final reward.
Ugly is next, boy o boy, what have you done??????

This is the series that should never end. Cerberus MC has touched on so many life situations. In Boomer, former upbringing plays a huge part of who Boomer is and how he perceives himself and how he judges himself. Although M/M is not a genre I gravitate towards, Boomer is, in my opinion, the best M/M story that Marie James has written, for several reasons that I can't share, as they would be spoilers. I was slightly disappointed that the Cerberus MC members weren't sent out on a mission, but the outing that was enjoyed by the members as well as their families, made up for my disappointment. Love the diversity of the characters and their relationships among each other. Looking forward to Ugly's story, with trepidation.

This is the 25th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Boomer and Drake’s story. My heart broke for Boomer and everything he endured in his past which has mentally and physically scarred him. Drake is a sweet, charming, and happy go lucky bartender, who is the complete opposite from Boomer, and the attraction between them is intense and undeniable, but will Boomer let go of the past? This is a well written story which is an emotional and tragic roller coaster journey, with secrets, acceptance, friendships, family, loyalty, witty banter, humor, challenges, suspense, intrigue, and love, which leads to an unpredictable, heartwrenching and riveting page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I thought Boomer would melt my heart but it was actually Drake that I couldn’t get enough of….his heart is just bursting out of his chest to love someone and despite everything he had been through he still gave Boomer so much patience and allowance for his fears. He showed such great care and understanding…even when I didn’t feel Boomer actually deserved it!

Boomer had a really controlled upbringing and his religion caused him to feel great shame for who he was.
Drake was the perfect man to help him through his pain….some scenes are smoking hot and others made my chest ache for them both.

Not much suspense action in this one but I’m hoping Ugly’s story brings some more drama with our next visit to the clubhouse…

This was a really powerful full heartfelt read with so much sadness and turmoil. The characters were awesome as always.

I have to say that we were saddened by the constant turmoil that Boomer seemed to be in but, Drake's sparkling personality lightened his load just a bit.

This story was emotionally messy and sometimes they are the best kind. Our heart went out to both characters and they had more in common then they realized even though both the situations were completely different which were groomed in excepting their fate and expectations and what was acceptable or not.

Sometimes love needs a push and Ugly and Kincaid were more than happy to help these lovers along the way. We loved it even though we felt like crying throughout the entire story.

Raised in a strict religious lifestyle Boomer was made to believe that being attracted to another man was wrong and he ostracized for it. After his career as a Marine, he found a new family within the Cerberus MC and doesn’t want to lose what he has found by getting involved with Drake despite the feelings he has for him.

Drake is outgoing, loyal and comfortable with who he is. There is no denying the feelings that he has for Boomer, but he also knows that Boomer is hesitant to admit what he truly wants which increases the angst and causes some turmoil.

Boomer and Drake’s story is one of understanding and healing from the past as with the help of Drake Boomer must choose what will truly bring him happiness and peace.

Being True

It’s almost hard to write this. Boomer hit me in ALL the feels. I knew going in that he reminded me of my own son in a lot of ways, but I wasn’t truly prepared for the depth of emotion that Boomer was going to pull me into. And don’t get me started on Drake. I had seen him be all flirty in past books, and I loved his personality every time we got a glimpse of him. He surprised me though, once I got to know him. He won me over on so many levels, and I couldn’t imagine a better man to love our Boomer. I wanted to wrap both of these guys in big hugs, and watching their hard fought HEA was both heartbreaking and inspiring. I can’t wait for Ugly’s story next ❤️

I received an ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

He's been living with a secret for years, and when it finally comes to light, he's afraid he's going to lose his family in the Cerberus MC. The thing is that they have no problem with who he is or who he falls in love with. They just want him to be happy and fulfilled with his life.

The club works together to get Boomer to see how his life could be if he'd take the chance. He wants what his brothers have, but he's afraid to take it. A weekend camping trip with the club family brings Boomer the clarity that he needed to choose the life he's wanted for a long time.

I love the Cerberus MC series and Boomer's story didn't disappoint. I love the characters and the story of each of their HEAs.

Wow what a amazing story. I love boomer and drakes story. What I journey of self discovery and love and the struggle people go through. Drake is the head bartender a Jake's the bar the the curburus mc goes to and he's a big flurt to everyone but he seems to love messing with boomer and secretly boomer loves it. This book is about the battles that boomer struggles with when it come to who he is and comeing to terms with the fact he has feeling for Drake. Drake understands and trys to help but ends up falling for a man he may not have chance with. There journey of understand and love is great and one of my favorite books in this series

I loved this book. It touched on the internal battle some have with accepting themselves and it was done so well. I loved Boomer and Drake so much. Definitely opposite personalities but come together so well. Drake is a flirty, outgoing person and Boomer would rather fly under the radar. Boomers internal struggle was pushed to the limits with nudges from his Cerberus buddies until he was able to get past the last barrier. I couldn’t get enough of these two and I hope I get to see more in future books. Speaking of future books: how dare you end it like that for Ugly!? I need to know what happens!

I feel like I have been waiting forever for Boomer's book... I am not disappointed at all by his story!
This book is the perfect MM romance in the Cerberus world that Marie James created.

I love these characters so much and I could read them forever.
Boomer and Drake have the best chemistry and the way they are with eachother is amazing...

Boomer has so many things he is trying to overcome and Drake is the best one to help him... But will Boomer let him??
Drake is such a sweet loving character and I have always loved him in the appearances of previous books.

This book is so good, you won't be able to put it down.
