Gloria is the author of well-loved Cornish novels, including the Pengarron and Harvey sagas. She is Cornish born and bred, and lives in Truro, a city and civil parish in Cornwall, England.
A good read set in my lovely home county of Cornwall . Recognised a lot of places in the book which gave it a nice familiarity . Rebecca was a strong character, entangled in the life of Alex the new owner of the house Trevallion. She also meets Neville and has to decide between him and Alex. There's also the danger of a malicious woman called Susannah still affected by her past and what she believes is due to her. This puts Rebecca's life in danger and a dangerous situation for Alex. The ending was good , full of drama.
