He spent months hunting me from the shadows. Now he’s ready to finish what he started.
The truth is out. My stalker has been unmasked. And nothing will ever be the same.
Everything I believed—about my family, my past, even myself—has been shattered. The people I trusted. The dreams we built. The future we've bled for. All of it hangs by a thread.
The Council has abandoned us. The Wolf King demands my surrender. And the original wolf’s legacy surges through my blood, awakening a primal force I was never meant to wield.
Leading my pack was never about power for me. It was about love. About loyalty. About giving the people I was made to protect a future worth living for.
But destiny doesn’t grant happy endings. It demands sacrifices.
And my stalker isn’t finished yet. He’s no longer just hunting me—he’s threatening everything we’ve built. My family. My future. My pack.
We’re standing together. We’re fighting together. And we’ll protect our home—no matter what it costs. Because if we fall now, we don’t just lose each other. We lose the family we bled to build. We lose our future. We lose everything.
So I’ll fight with everything I have—even if it costs me one of my soulmates. Even if it costs me myself.
Destiny is the sixth and final book in a completed medium-burn paranormal reverse harem romance series, filled with epic love, fated bonds, devastating secrets, and a heroine who refuses to let fate choose her ending. This series must be read in order. Content warnings include PTSD, trauma recovery, and mentions of abuse.
Letty Frame is an English paranormal and omegaverse reverse harem romance author who writes the kind of fated-mates stories every broken soul deserves. With big feelings, fierce men, and heroines who rise from the ashes, #whychoose has become her guiding motto. Navigating chronic illness and mental health, Letty’s life is chaotic but perfect—and that messy, beautiful honesty lies at the heart of her stories. She writes broken characters, fate-driven romances, and hard-won happily-ever-afters that no one resents them for… except, arguably, their author. After all, what could a mentally ill romance author want more than a happy ever after? A traumatised, emotionally devastating journey to earning it.
Total series review: rollercoaster of disappointment
This series has so many tiny marks in it's favor but, unfortunately falls short in way too many ways.
The only characters who are consistently likeable throughout the entire series are side characters (Charles, Katie, Lexie and Malcolm specifically). The worst inconsistencies come from Lottie, our FMC, who we are supposed to believe is the strongest of her kind and yet she ACTIVELY CHOOSES to be a doormat repeatedly, ignores the guidance she is given, and makes absurd choices that put herself and others in harms way. I have said this way too many times and will probably continue to do so until society wises up - authors need to stop writing FMCs who choose to be weak, ignorant, subservient, unreliable and obnoxious while expecting the (mainly female) readers to embrace the FMC as wonderful. Wyatt manages to be mostly likeable for the entirety but not likeable enough to be a strong MMC contender. Noah, Caden, Rhett and Theo are utterly contemptible 99% of the series. Warren, River and Elijah barely squeak under the contempt radar, mostly due to their lower placing on the social hierarchy to begin with but, they never really redeem themselves so any disgust they earn early on sticks like glue to the last page. Dillon is practically an incel shoehorned into the group; we have to accept him as a member but he's off on the edges until he wants to try taking from Lottie - attention, trust, time, his reliability all stripped from the so called love of his life at the worst possible moments.
The plotting is also a weak rollercoaster of horrors. The main theme Lottie should be battling (patriarchal menacing) is completely unresolved. The antagonists, while mostly dealt with are also unsatisfying. 6 fricking books and it takes 1 chapter to resolve the two most horrific people in their country, and their minions but...... The minions and 1 antagonist do not get swift punishment or even partially punished to prevent their further antics? The victims (and there are plenty in this series) get zero restitution? If you're going to give me a story dragged out over 6 books you'd best give me the battle of Hogwarts vibes and some victim benefits at the end. There are also multiple threads of plot that just poof, disappear. Whether that means the author is trying to drag out this already flogged dead horse of a story or not is unclear but it's annoying and frustrating from a series of this size. The story was too unsatisfying to deserve another moment of my focus.
I should not be this annoyed from reading a book about destroying the patriarchy. I want to see it shattered into dust but instead it feels like the FMC just handed it the keys to her house, made it some tea and couldn't understand why she no longer feels safe at home. OH! That is the problem, it's exactly my problem with this series - this is a story of a woman fighting against abuse and injustice while accepting it in her own love life and the reader is not supposed to realize she is being abused and controlled and subjugated by her mates. But Lottie is, right to the very last page she is given a second class citizenship in her own home life, her power ignored and her males taking her decisions away and shuffling her to the side while convincing her their love is more important than her strength. And I'm supposed to see this as an hea because she chooses to love them while accepting their undermining.
This was such a good series, especially considering it was the first one by this author
Summary: this series is great, very minor typos that are easy to ignore, I hope that this series/characters continue since there were hints at other characters having their own series and more to come from Lottie and her mates/family, this series is definitely worth your time and bingeable as heck and each mate has their own voice/personality so they don't blend together like some WC books I've read
I read all six books one after the other within a week, and even with a decently high page count, the books did not feel like they were long. I know sometimes books have dry parts that are painful to go through, and I personally feel as if Letty Frame was able to avoid that in all six of these books. There were definitely moments where I wished some situations were going to be over, but only because Letty was able to write the emotionally charged scenarios so well that I was taking personal offence to everything done against Lottie lol. I found each character, even side characters that were friends that didn't have a lot of page time in some books, were well written with their own unique voice and personality, so they didn't blend together like some why choose books have happen to their mates.
As a new author as well, I expected a few spelling mistakes. Honestly, there were less than I expected, and none of them were so off base that it took me out of the story. It was usually something like using appraising instead of appraising, or alpha's instead of alphas. Really minor stuff, and not that many given the length of each book.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend reading this series. I read this using KU but I plan on buying all six as physical copies when I'm able to afford to do so, I liked it that much. The only thing I would really change, was stuff around Freya. I loved Freya, and I loved her mates, but there were a few moments where information was provided regarding Freya's own struggles and info on what her mates are, what they're all doing, etc that felt like there was another story going on at the same time. It was like Lottie got all this information about what Freya's mates are off page and just...never had a WTF moment, despite being oblivious to supernatural stuff less than a year before. I was hoping that with these random info drops, that it meant that Freya would get her own series and this was a way to hint at more to come (and it did seem so with the way this series ended, that more would be going on for Lottie and her mates but maybe not as a series where they're the focus) but I don't see one for her or any of the other female descendants like Lottie and Freya. Maybe it's a future project for Letty, or one she's waiting to get inspo to work on it (as an artist with more than a couple projects on hold, I get it lol), but either way, I hope we eventually get to see more into this universe she's done a great job at building.
I read the whole series before posting a review. possible spoilers ahead.
I enjoyed the story. it was an easy read that kept my attention. however. the constant "giggling i did this or I said" and "I giggled" was very annoying. along with the fact that the characters are 24 and older. and yet they act like teenagers even though they have an entire 3+ packs counting on them and are literally taking on the world. they were all VERY immature. I cried when River died. won't lie. his death was bs. he deserved better. the entire time Lottie and he were having their issues, she's all "oh I support you and I love you. your mine. my mate" but then it's basically "I can't be with you because you hurt me so" his death BARELY effected her. she used his death to basically take over another pack and THATS IT. Granted he does come back at the end. BUT again. in my opinion he deserved more. He and Warren are my favorites of the group. the rest were whiny.
I'm intrigued by the Vampire girl (currently forgot her name) and her set of mates(the demon is Roman. then the angel twins and the Wolf Jeremy) I wouldn't mind a series about them.
overall a decent story if you can get past all the whining, immaturity, and giggling.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I dealt with the heart break like a pro… but this book was RUSHED! Like dude, I get it was a long series and there was a lot of holes needing filled, but there was so much and it felt shortened. It was lack listed for the last half of the book. Like there was a whole travel around and meet packs to have this big come together where they talked about their concerns… but that never happened.
There was a half paragraph about taking over her dads pack, no resolve on fixing her best friends mating bond which there was issues with, no checking in with Abel to see if he was a good watch dog for the pack, no going back to check on Vampire queens whos broken, no fixing Eli who was broken but not. Like come on man.
It was a great series, like I five starred it allll, except this one.
Destiny (The Luna Series Book 6) ~~ Destiny brings everything full circle. Lottie is no longer the woman she was at the start of the series, and seeing how far she’s come was incredibly satisfying.
The bonds with her mates feel earned ~ forged through fear, loss, loyalty, and sacrifice. The danger she’s been running from finally catches up, and the choices she has to make are brutal.
This book is intense, emotional, and full of moments that made me stop and just breathe. Nothing is easy, nothing is handed to her, and that’s what makes the ending so powerful.
By the time I finished, I felt like I’d lived this journey alongside her.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.
I would highly recommend this entire series to anyone who loves shifter novels, has an interest in reverse harem stories, and likes a good action story that isn't typical in your standard romance. I was locked in from the very first book all the way through the end of the last book and I still need more from these characters. I am so invested in the lives, the love, the danger, and the power that are encompassed in these characters... Great job Letty Frame! I was a bit thrown off by some of the errors, grammatical and structure errors as well as some spelling mistakes, especially how Dillon's name was at times changes to the spelling Dylan in the last book, but that is at the hands of the editors.
I’m glad when I picked up the book all the missing chapters were included, but this was so badly written. Missing words, missing punctuation, sentences that made no sense, and hundreds of typos. I made it to 18% and just skipped to the end. I actually don’t think I missed a single thing. I will not be waiting two years for the next in the series and I hope the author takes some time to fix this book. It took over a year to come out and this is what we get? No thanks. I suggest the author hire an editor or replace the one she has. I have nothing to say on the story. This series should have ended three books ago.
I really enjoyed this series. However I felt there was a lot of buildup and felt a bit disappointed towards then end when the two major events weren’t as ‘eventful’.
Also with this series I found I have to sometimes piece together a sentence myself to get it to make sense. There are some spelling and grammar mistakes. However you can make sense of it eventually.
I love the storyline and the characters. I would recommend reading this with the above noted.
I started out enjoying this series, but not too much after book 3. It was too much of the same over and over. And just drug out. I stayed reading just to learn the answers, but I never haven’t wanted to skip to the end of a book (just to learn those answers) as much as this one. I skimmed the last 2 books mainly due to them being boring to me. The last 2 books could have been made into 1.
Yea it ended in a HEA, but if this series spins off, I don’t think I’ll be able to read anymore.
I don't often write reviews, but this whole series was fantastic. If you like polyamorous relationships, werewolves, vampires, spice, drama and some magic this is for you. Often I find that the why choose books don't portray polyamorous relationships as relationships and just as an excuse to sleep with multiple people. This series truly sheds a good light on that. The danger and drama of the plot is well written. I won't spoil anything, but I will say there were two parts that made me cry they were so well written. This author just became one of my favorites.
The widely anticipated final part of the Luna series, and I can honestly say it does not disappoint.
This is a series not a standalone so I recommend you read the preceding books and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Prepare yourselves for an emotional rollercoaster which will have you crying one minute then laughing the next. If you love supernaturals, fated mates, a badass heroine and everything inbetween then this is for you.
I'd give the series overall a 4 as i did really enjoy it.
Just not this book. There isn't anything wrong with the book. Just too much time has passed since i read the last book (just over a year). I just struggled to get back into the last book. Although can rematch movies and t.v. series i dont enjoy rereading series. I tried but failed.
I find this issue with many books like this, so now make sure that when i pickup series it is complete
I really wanted this to wow me and answer all my questions. I didn’t like this story very much. I felt if it would have stopped last book I would’ve been good. To have someone turned into something else and kill the bond nah I’m good. Turned me off right there and couldn’t get me back. My one hope is that the kids have a series since they are all marked.
OMG, OMG ,OMG. What an incredible emotional heart wrenching rollercoaster ride that was. I laughed , cried , screamed and swooned throughout this book. I'm so excited for what's to come for Lottie and her guys. Phenomenal end to this series and I'm so excited to see what's next for this Luna and her mates. Incredible five-star read that I would definitely recommend.
There are a lot of good things with this book and series. The FMC does a good job dealing with problems and her relationships in healthy ways. The characters figure out and deal with the problems using open communication and support of each other.
There were a lot of grammar, typo, editing errors. In some places the errors were so bad that the sentence/paragraph didn't make sense.
I enjoyed all the drama and excitement in this the final book, so glad there is another set of books in the pipeline as I feel the end was a little rushed and not everything was settled. I would have given 5 stars but there are too many spelling errors, missing words and wrong names which is a real shame, but overall I loved the series very much
Oh the emotions that was experienced with the Luna Series just made this week of reading a mind bender. This book alone had me on a roller coaster of emotions , all in my feels with a HEA that still left this series on a cliffhanger 🧗♀️. Ready for more from Letty Frame!
Wow! This book has taken me on a rollercoaster of an emotional journey. I absolutely loved the conclusion to the story, and although it had many heartbreaking moments, I throughly enjoyed reading this book. I also absolutely loved the characters created for this series. I would strongly recommend giving it a read.
An epic conclusion that I was dying for! So much happens in this series, so many changes, so many emotions, and this one definitely got me a few times. All I can say is River! Absolutely loved this series and loved this ending. Definitely hoping to see more from this universe, though. Fingers crossed!
I've looked on Amazon for the updated version and nothing has popped up. I'm missing multiple chapers and overall it was unfulling. Hopefully in the next few days it's updated
This book had so many skipped chapters when I read it in my kindle. I was so excited for the release and it was very disappointing when there were so many chapters missing.😡😤 so not worth it.
I was looking forward to the conclusion of this series. However, this book has many problematic sections with phrasing problems, word and vocabulary problems. This should have gone through much more editing. The issues drag you out of the story.
I love all six books and the HEAs that occurred. I can't wait to see what comes next for Lottie and her people! It is not easy to wait for the next books!
This is a great read just like all the rest were but this one is the best so far it made me laugh it made me cry it made me mad the hole spectrum of emotions I will definitely be reading again in the near future
I have been so excited for this book. It was even better than I was hoping. This book had me laughing and crying. A truly amazing ending. I was sad to see the end for Lottie and her men, then the last page we find out there is going to be more. I CAN'T WAIT!!! Highly, highly recommend.
Fast paced, slow-burn shifter romance. Wolves & Vampires. Evil Council Members. Lottie is a strong FMC. Love her mates especially Elijah. I was crying and laughing through this book. This does have a HEA.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I'm glad that River was able to come back and also Warren. I can't wait to see what will happen next for them since her boys were marked and her daughter.
I laughed and I cried. I cried a lot. But this series is very entertaining and from the beginning I connected with this pack and they'll always be with me.
The last book in this series was a disappointment. Lots of sex scenes but so many other characters brought forth in the first five books were dumped. This made the story incomplete for me.
